I don't disagree. But in my opinion she has tried out different styles to expand her singing skills. And I love the fact that she posts so many of her rehearsals and singing styles.
She is the most versatile singer in the world. Not only because the many styles she can sing and with the thousand voices she can reflect, but also the state of mind (plural?). If you look at 'When you believe', she was deadly serious and very well prepared! Here she is just having fun (like with "I'd rather go blind") and if you ask me, more singing for her peer-group then for her older fans that might have "lived" with the Beatles! At first hearing I didn't like it, but after a couple of times I appreciated it more! Not my favorite performance, but fun!
Thank you for another great informative presentation with the Barefoot Angel showing us that she should be ranked among the greats of the music world. IMO, comparing Angelina’s talent to any other musician is equal to committing a social sin against people with extensive understanding of technical and emotional aspects of music. We could acknowledge, however, that her voice box, enhanced with emotion and gesture, contains nuggets from many legends of the music world.
Always like a box of chocolates - you never know what you’re going to get with Angelina. Love this kids continued experimenting with different voices and genres. It’ll be interesting to see if she eventually settles into a style or will continue to use all of the different variations of her voice that she has at her disposal. Thanks Alan!

First time I ever felt I was seeing my child self somehow recreated, except for the completely self-possessed power of her gaze and voice. A singular experience for me, it left an echo, a deep resonance. Then, a week ago, I discover her amazing continuation, and so many appreciating that same core of power in one so young. I’ve enjoyed many of your vids, but this one touches me more than any other. At six, my world cracked as I witnessed the loss of JFK. Caroline and I are the same age. Jackie was my heroine. John John felt like my little brother. The world was changed forever. A little over a year later, the world opened on a Sunday night, as we saw the Beatles…and I’d run home a year later from Catholic school, in my little dress and ‘corrective shoes’ to watch Beatles cartoons on the same little black and white cabinet tv. No one born later can grasp what living felt like then. We’d never seen color television. We’d pass around my dad’s green sunglasses during afternoon cowboy shows, thinking we were watching “in living color”. Thanks so much for these presentations. They’re clearly a labor of love, an educational and very enjoyable part of my week now. By the by, I Wanna Hold Your Hand was my first favorite pop song. Then came Incense and Peppermints, Windy and Downtown. The only woman I ever wanted to grow up to be was Bobbie Gentry. Angelina has a similar quality. ✌️🙏🎶

How interesting...of course, Angelina released a more refined rendition after this presentation was recorded. The new rendition is smooth with more refined elements of jazz and blues...simply delightful! This new rendition plays very well, if not superbly, among all previous performances...as usual Angelina performs with pathos and intimacy in her own way...

Hard most times to hear the Beatles as it seems like such a short time ago I was buying and playing the albums...then the memory of loss can come on. Not only them, but most of the great artists we resonated with. Not to take away from this compilation, which was very well done and your three favorites are so familiar and stellar...
Interesting all the artists you displayed sang wonderfully. Who could take anything away from Sinatra’s delivery or Paul’s feelings and tone. Yet this 15 year old girl in a room in a house with out a professional recording room and band behind her brings more emotion and feeling than all of them. You might not be comparing but I am. The air and rasp and tone, Simply breathtaking.
After hearing it several times, I really like Angelinas version. As always she does it her own way. I hope that there will be a full song of this when Angelina and Republic Records are ready for it.

A cello is such a sad instrument. From Angelina I prefer the version sitting in a shopping trolley. There, she does not matter about her voice which is excellent. But she goes for the feelings, which only one of the other performers do. But she can and does.
What I also noticed here is that she sings differently than we are used to and once again the color of her eyes is not brown, but gray / blue. Is she telling us something? I dont know. I don't think "Yesterday" is bad, but it's not exactly the Angelina we like. And the strange thing is, it's from "TikTok"! Should that tell us something? I like the other Angelina better !! "

Thought that I would hear from you in that regard, but featuring renditions by others says enough. I love AJ's off-the-wall fry, which echoes her Etta James rendition of "I'd Rather Go Blind." August 22nd, 1964, the Beatles arrived in Vancouver, BC, Canada for their first ever concert in Canada. They were to perform at the Empire Stadium which was constructed some 10-years earlier for the British Empire and Commonwealth Games where both John Landy and Roger Banister broke the 4-minute mile for the first time ever. My brother attended the concert but unfortunately I was too young. Per my bro ... nothing like this concert had ever occurred in Canada before and would probably never be repeated. I grew up a lover everything Beatles and had the occasion to attend an impromptu concert in a bar on the north side of Maui with George Harrison and Erick Clapton. While I have many favourite songs ... my absolute #1 is Lennon's "In My Life". Could you imagine Angelina performing a misty sultry version of "In My Life" ... oh I can!
This is one of the few times that I haven't liked Angelina's version of a song. I will always prefer the McCartney version with the strings as the background. The first time I heard it in 1965 I said it would become a "standard" for sure... And it did. Another version I like is from Ray Charles. "The Genius" can take ANY song and make it his own because he doesn't just sing a song, he puts his soul into the song...

I am a Angelina fan and have more than 5000 likes of her performances. If I had only listen to Angelina performing this song, I would have not be interested to listen to any other songs of the singer. For me this is really terrible on my ears. I found it very difficult to listen to the end. Let we be honest, in her performance and the way she looks and behave, she is totally different to the Angelina that performs on her videos and that we were used to. This is not a teenager that only experiment. You can believe it if you want to. I hope and pray that she will some time decide who and what she wants to be. She gave a lot of people love, hope and meaning in their lives and also for me in a time that we needed it.

Nice job, Alan. I too was a Beatles fan. I remember seeing them live on their first U.S. tour. It was one of the worst concerts I've seen. I could only occasionally hear them because of all the girls screaming. I hesitate to comment on this one. I love Angelina's music so much, but I really didn't like her version of this song. If only she hadn't user her Amy voice ... I think about what she could have done with this song and believe it could have been really wonderful, but her choice of voice spoils it for me. Anyway, apologies to Angelina and her fans that will no doubt disagree with me.
I agree with you Gary. "Yesterday" is one of my favorite songs by The Beatles. Angelina, generally, has the ability to magnify the emotion contained in such a song... even more so than the original artist. The Amy voice was a distraction... and did not leave me wanting more...

I don't hear it as Amy .. to me it sounds more like tik-tok .. and not at all to do with the emotion in the words. I would love to hear her sing it in her thoughtful melancholy way.

Younger generations may not fully comprehend how much they (and a few others were pioneers in music. ) What Mozart and Bach was to the 18th century, so was the Beatles to the 20th. I'm sure that some of the songs will still be recognized in a couple hundred years. Actually many style of music came about in the 20th century. We're still early in the 21st. Who knows what changes will come about?

I came across a video from Paul McCartney‘s brother. In this video he said in the mid60s Paul McCartney was in a car accident and was decapitated the person that says he’s Paul McCartney was brought in to take his place they showed cuts of videos where even the other members said oh that’s when you came. If you look at his brother and you look at early photographs of Paul McCartney you can see the resemblance. You look at the Paul McCartney that’s around today and his face is a lot thinner and he’s also taller than the original Paul McCartney it was a giant cover-up to keep the Beatles going because they had made it so big. Now this video was from his brother. They even showed cuts of some shows where Paul was very much a pro with playing the guitar and they show later videos of the person that took Paul’s place screwing up on some of the songs that he was playing which Paul McCartney never did. Do some research and I’m sure you could find the video it’s online somewhere I seen it but I just can’t remember what web site.
I enjoyed the overview of Yesterday covers .. nicely done. I must point out however that your brief clip of the Beatles does not have Paul singing Yesterday .. it is clearly not his voice. What Beatles did will never happen again.. They were good from the get go, but from "Rubber Soul" and only four years onwards they showed everyone how music is pure art.
I love Angelina but I didn’t like this at all. She lost the emotional context of this song with the over embellishments. Her magic is in emotional connection to a song and a beautiful lower register. Her usual humble and sincere authentic approach is magic. I guess the twangy play on lyrics is hip right now ..I hope Angelina doesn’t go down this road with her choices again.
AJ always a surprise in each new song , that’s make her signature she takes risks… sadly for me Republic records pro managed its in the way that there is no more surprise in arrangements and the sound either.
Beatles wrote their own songs. Not all great singers write great songs. No comparison between Beatles and anyone else who is doing a Beatles song. Angelina is unique. I hate how they're trying to make her into an image of artists who are gone. That would be her manager's fault. If she wants to be known as a great singer like Billie Holiday then they need to make her uniqueness the focal point. I'm disappointed that I often see her trying to look and sound exactly like someone else. Be yourself and you'll be one of the greatest. Great talent.

I was never impressed with the Beatles. Except for Yesterday and hey Jude, I found them annoying. However the music they wrote if performed by the the right artist, was beautiful.

August 22nd, 1964, the Beatles arrived in Vancouver, BC, Canada for their first ever concert in Canada. They were to perform at the Empire Stadium which was constructed some 10-years earlier for the British Empire and Commonwealth Games where both John Landy and Roger Banister broke the 4-minute mile for the first time ever. My brother attended the concert but unfortunately I was too young. Per my bro ... nothing like this concert had ever occurred in Canada before and would probably never be repeated.
I grew up a lover everything Beatles and had the occasion to attend an impromptu concert in a bar on the north side of Maui with George Harrison and Erick Clapton. While I have many favourite songs ... my absolute #1 is Lennon's "In My Life".

This is one of the few times that I haven't liked Angelina's version of a song. I will always prefer the McCartney version with the strings as the background. The first time I heard it in 1965 I said it would become a "standard" for sure... And it did. Another version I like is from Ray Charles. "The Genius" can take ANY song and make it his own because he doesn't just sing a song, he puts his soul into the song...

I am a Angelina fan and have more than 5000 likes of her performances. If I had only listen to Angelina performing this song, I would have not be interested to listen to any other songs of the singer. For me this is really terrible on my ears. I found it very difficult to listen to the end. Let we be honest, in her performance and the way she looks and behave, she is totally different to the Angelina that performs on her videos and that we were used to. This is not a teenager that only experiment. You can believe it if you want to. I hope and pray that she will some time decide who and what she wants to be. She gave a lot of people love, hope and meaning in their lives and also for me in a time that we needed it.

Nice job, Alan. I too was a Beatles fan. I remember seeing them live on their first U.S. tour. It was one of the worst concerts I've seen. I could only occasionally hear them because of all the girls screaming.
I hesitate to comment on this one. I love Angelina's music so much, but I really didn't like her version of this song. If only she hadn't user her Amy voice ... I think about what she could have done with this song and believe it could have been really wonderful, but her choice of voice spoils it for me.
Anyway, apologies to Angelina and her fans that will no doubt disagree with me.
I agree with you Gary. "Yesterday" is one of my favorite songs by The Beatles. Angelina, generally, has the ability to magnify the emotion contained in such a song... even more so than the original artist. The Amy voice was a distraction... and did not leave me wanting more...
You speak my mind on this one, Gary. This particular sound is the first time I've experienced Angelina and not wanted to hear it again. I don't hear it as Amy .. to me it sounds more like tik-tok .. and not at all to do with the emotion in the words. I would love to hear her sing it in her thoughtful melancholy way.

I was alive the last 2 years of the 60s...but even so their music still played through out my childhood well into my adult life. I'm middle aged now and still listen to the Beatles.

I came across a video from Paul McCartney‘s brother. In this video he said in the mid60s Paul McCartney was in a car accident and was decapitated the person that says he’s Paul McCartney was brought in to take his place they showed cuts of videos where even the other members said oh that’s when you came. If you look at his brother and you look at early photographs of Paul McCartney you can see the resemblance. You look at the Paul McCartney that’s around today and his face is a lot thinner and he’s also taller than the original Paul McCartney it was a giant cover-up to keep the Beatles going because they had made it so big. Now this video was from his brother. They even showed cuts of some shows where Paul was very much a pro with playing the guitar and they show later videos of the person that took Paul’s place screwing up on some of the songs that he was playing which Paul McCartney never did. Do some research and I’m sure you could find the video it’s online somewhere I seen it but I just can’t remember what web site.
I enjoyed the overview of Yesterday covers .. nicely done. I must point out however that your brief clip of the Beatles does not have Paul singing Yesterday .. it is clearly not his voice. It is someone else singing Yesterday over the Beatles video clip. Thanks anyway for the pleasant walk down memory lane
What Beatles did will never happen again.. They were good from the get go, but from "Rubber Soul" and only four years onwards they showed everyone how music is pure art.
I love Angelina but I didn’t like this at all.
She lost the emotional context of this song with the over embellishments.
Her magic is in emotional connection to a song and a beautiful lower register.
Her usual humble and sincere authentic approach is magic.
I guess the twangy play on lyrics is hip right now ..I hope Angelina doesn’t go down this road with her choices again.

Beatles wrote their own songs. Not all great singers write great songs. No comparison between Beatles and anyone else who is doing a Beatles song.
Angelina is unique. I hate how they're trying to make her into an image of artists who are gone. That would be her manager's fault. If she wants to be known as a great singer like Billie Holiday then they need to make her uniqueness the focal point. I'm disappointed that I often see her trying to look and sound exactly like someone else. Be yourself and you'll be one of the greatest. Great talent.

Do you know that could just go listen to the Angelina's TikToc version directly? Is it really necessary that you intentionally come to a reactor's video and then complain that he talks too much? Would you also buy a house at the edge of an airport and then complain that airplanes fly over your house. Perhaps you're like a couple of people that our family has sold a house lot to on the edge of our farm fields so that they can live in the country. Then they complain that we drive our tractors and combine harvesters along the fence line and create dust.
