- I've included some no-cp pvp in this one (3rd fight), as well as an extended kiting clip (2nd fight). The latter is because I don't show kiting that much, while it is a very important skill in the magsorc toolkit.

Ok malcom you are my favourite magsorc by far , I’ve been following you for over a year when I started playing. In no cp I’m using bright throat craft and chudan. My main questions would be. 1 - how much health do you recommend for no cp. and is crit surge 2 shields and rapid regen enough to 1vx , I can pull it off against a few players but once a couple good players join in my shields get shredded and I can’t kite I get gap closed and stomped. I don’t really like dark conversion play style because I block and dodgeroll most my Stam away. My front bar consist of , curse , frag, flame clench , endless , and inner light. My back bar is. Hardened , Dampen; rapid regen, crit surge , streak. Any tips are appreciate. So I played with streak front bar for a long time and I’m trying this new layout out because I like having the knock back sometimes my streak misses and I’m fd. I still use both to cc in different situations.

How do they drop so easily? I am at 51k mag and around 3k spell damage, I do pretty much the same combo u do, but people just don’t die
how much penetration do you have? its tank meta, even damage shields have resistances now, you just have to have spell/Physical. This is the pure reason spinner/spriggan is one of the most meta stable, expensive sets. get meta sets (new moon + spinner/spriggan) with bloodspawn
ImperialSkooma I don’t turn my screen as intensely as he does but I do all the animation cancels at about the same speed
pof köf I know he runs alfiq and bright throat and I run alfiq and necro so we probably have same pen. These days lots of medium armor builds build in flat damage mitigation’s that make them very tanky, and of course this makes pen kinda useless. They also stack a lot of weapon damage to be able to almost completely nuke light armor builds. For example, many times I get insta-killed with a dizzy leap/onslaught combo even when I have blood spawn up. Stam leap especially is deleting people nowadays.
I wonder exactly the same, i have 50k max magicka on battlegrounds with 2k spell damage, i stun people especially stamcros which don't even bother to break free and my frags hit like 3 or 4k at max, curses the same, with one vigor pop they already outhealed my damage. I don't know what I make wrong. I even run elly drain for penetration.

Hi I main a Stamina sorcerer and was thinking of trying out Magsorc, you make it look easy, do you rely on heals from critsurge and boundless storm like on stamsorc? I was thinking rapid regen. And what shield would I use first? Thanks
both ways are used, but not both at the same time
I have builds with critsurge & boundless as healing, and builds with rapid regen as healing, check my guide for that.

How much does cp change a build? I swear when I run the exact same sets my damage is far lower and get hit so much harder. I am currently only 460cp.
ye you'll need at least 600cp as a new player tbh, unless if you're particulary skilled at the game

For new players it’s really hard to understand what skills were used when in what combo and when to burst
you can see which skills are pressed in the skillbar. There's different combo's that basically achieve the same goal: making stuff explode at the same time. For example: curse - ele wep - streak (to stun) - ele wep/frag
