Just opened a roll of 2005 nickels. Found a cud in the lower part of the S on the reverse on about six in a row. Very obvious but nothing on TH-cam about them. The ones with the crossed ax and piece pipe. Thank you, Scott
I found It funny when I watched this video as a you said you couldn’t come across a 1982 D copper small date I literally just decided to go through all my coins I’ve been saving up for years and I’m in Canada so we don’t see as many us coins but among the first few that I actually checked where a 44 D wheat penny which had me jumping up and down at first until I checked it with a magnet!! But the next 2 I pulled the 82 D copper small date with doubling on both ob and reverse and then next was an 82 no mint mark copper large date with doubling as well. Crazy eh they may have been there almost 20 years!!
I love your videos! I started collecting and coin searching. I found a Pennsylvania 1999 Denver mint gold quarter yesterday and one of my quarter hunt it looks like it was struck on a Sacajawea planchet

good one...but on that 1964 JFK, are there any mint markers? my mom hoarded them in 1964 and I have a bunch of nice ones but they all seem like business strikes...is there a ay to positively ID one? I wonder this about all SMS coins, really. you never know if one got stolen and broken down for beer money or whatever...I live in the 5th highest property crime state up here in WA and I see a lot of coins that I question because they are too nice for their age. how would you know if you got one in hand that was sorta beat up?

I do have one with some kind of deformity on the NE of the 4 crosslet. it looks like a mint chip or cud. fortunately she pulled these coins before they saw much, or any, circulation. she died 20 years ago and I still find coin columns she clipped from the newspapers about varieties and errors and stuff through the years. i'm glad I learned about varieties/errors before I sold them like I did with dimes when silver was at $40 an oz....thanks, again. cheers.

HI Blue Ridge....I would like to ask if you would look over a 1988 Peeny that I had sent out to be graded. ...I feel it is a double ear it has all the marking but NCG passed on it but gave it a Grade of MS 66 RD...I would like to get a second opinion on the Ear ...Thanks
Hi BlueRidgeSilverhound, You often mention that collectors break the coin out of a PCGS slab to have it regraded. If this happens frequently, would that not skew the numbers of graded coins in circulation or found? I am thinking that the same coin could be listed in multiple collections if the collector never removed the old entry and sold the coin again after it was regraded (for a 2nd, 3rd or many times after that). You feedback is much appreciated and I always enjoy your video's. Thanks,

IDK. I've had this Ike for years and haven't been able to find any info on it. It almost looks as if the "metal" just dripped from his eye. I can't find someone who can give me any good guidance on what to do with it.@@BlueRidgeSilverhound

Come on I have a couple of coins that had the what I come to call black death nail of coins. And when is it ok to clean coin has to be certain point that it's perfectly fine to clean a coin

Just saying people need to understand how it works and hopefully stop overpaying for coins on ebay I feel bad for the guy paying over $1000 for MS66 on ebay. No way will he ever get even half of that money back. 3 months from now more and more will be graded.

I recently ( last summer) came across i belive its a 1992 Washington Quarter, Thats absolutely Beautiful. Its put away, i may bring it out and recheck it out. Its really a pretty coin.

No there is none these are from the 60s an there's one that's a 1972 I've collected coins for a long time but never ran in to any quite like these.

IDK, man... That 1982 D at 16:00 doesn't really have any damaged devices at all and it's struck is pretty full.
