- Shabani and her daughter Annie rarely play together on a regular basis.
On this particular day, Shabani was happily playing with her son Kiyomasa as usual, but when Annie tried to enter the room, she suddenly went outside and hugged Annie.
Annie seemed startled by the suddenness of the situation, but soon calmed down and went into her room to play happily with Kiyomasa😊

Annie is the apple of Shabani’s eye,, the more I watch him with her that little 😅girl is his number 1. Kiyo is his number 1 to play. I love this gorilla family troop❤❤❤❤

He towers over his baby sister.. He’s still so sweet to her… I hope he and his Father can stay together in peace until they find a Mate for Ky .. And hopefully Annie will have a Good Mate too.. LOVE This beautiful Troop ❤🦍🦍🦍🦍🦍.. I Wish Ai could have another chance at motherhood.. Maybe she would be a better Mother…. I feel she was not Ready first time at mother hood.. Also I feel she was afraid of Nene reaction to her having a baby because Nene was the Dominant Female….. Ai seems to be coming into that role now…..
I think you are right about Nene & also she was 9 with her first pregnancy & 10 with her second. As long as Nene is watching over her it won't happen. She is still young & healthy & i agree she will be a good mom.

Well he's already tried that all through her growing up, unlike his brother when annie would pull away, he let her go. He likes to fondle and finger Kiyo. But he's my favorite silverback. And Genki is my favorite female mother.
I hope the zoo is giving Nene extra food. She can't gather up food as quickly due to mobility issues.
At least once a day, keepers feed Nene through a special fence: ☺️

Shabani loves his little Annie. I remember when she was born & not with the family yet. He used to sit & look at her through the gate that separated them. He is truly an awesome dad. ❤❤🦍🦍
Shabani ha detto a Annie " Bella di papà stavo giocando". Kiyomasa geloso la richiamava a se per giocare con lui. Shabani dice a Kiyomasa " Gioca,gioca pure con Annie,ma io non ti perdo di vista" E finisce con fargli capire che c'è sempre un limite tra lui e Annie. Bellissimo video!❤️🍀❤️

I love respect and admire gorilla dynamics..its incredible how they learn to cope in zoological captivity. The few good , favorable things they receive is their choice to mate with a chosen mate..they get deliciously selected foods.
I too cry over their lives of zoological breeding and captivity.
But they do procreate their families..select mates via videos or imagery..interesting how they select whom they wish to mate with

Their tummy are not as big as they ones kyoto
They have a lot of good food. Nene is older and therefore slimmer and I think Annie has a hard time keeping weight on. It could be that she didn't get any, or enough colostrum? Or, something else with her digestion.
