OK, here's the real deal. I got the hoodie today. It came in a nifty zip bag. I am 5' 10" with a 44 chest and the large fits perfect. The first thing I noticed was the heft/thickness. I walked outside where we are experiencing a cold front with N winds and in the upper 40's/low 50's. I wore a t-shirt under it and after adjusting the cuffs and waist, felt no drafts or cold at all. This will eliminate other fleeces and jackets I have. Would I buy it again? Yes I would. I bought the Navy and can see adding another color. It took about 10 days to receive so if you are giving one as a Christmas gift take into consideration.
how is it when reaching with arms, does it feel tight across the back or the sleeves pull up. I like when jackets have that shoulder area extra material for reaching. thanks

I have one of the older ones and liked it. Got this 3.0 and very pleased amazingly I got it a lot quicker than the first one. Wore it this winter in Utah got pretty cold and it was fine. I am 6'3' 235 and the 2x is just right and I can layer and it is still OK.
the hood peak I think is for those who wear glasses to help keey rain drops off the lenses. I used to use my baseball cap for that purpose when working outside in the rain.

I ordered this for work. I am glad they finally got some work colors for folks who work outside, but aren't doing anything tactical related. I like that this is high visibility, but not Ansi. I can wear this to walk my dog, after I remove my company logo patches . I also like that they have camo. Where was this when I was in the Army 🪖 thirty years ago?😂

Took about a month for mine to arrive. At 2 weeks I inquired about the status and got a reply basically saying "we have what you ordered and we'll get it to you." There's nothing to track, no notifications, it just shows up one day.

Well, I posted a comment earlier about the shipping issues, but now I'm a couple weeks into wearing the hoodie. I really couldn't be happier. I have yet to find a flaw, and at this point it's longevity is the only question, but from how the thing feels, I think I'll be wearing this jacket for years.
I'll say that the hook side of the velcro is unlike anything I've seen before. I've seen that the 2.0 hoodie was pretty bad on the cuffs. And if the velcro is the only thing that goes south that's an easy fix

just bought one for hubby ...waiting for delivery, but regretting it as i just noticed there seems to be no underarm zips ...so he is going to overheat and not use it ....hope it comes with a return shipping label. shipping was free on the way to me, but will likely have to pay shipping to get it back to them :( anybody have experience with returns ?
The customer service is a joke. If you try to call, it is answered by an unprofessional sounding guy then you wait for live person but it gets disconnected after waiting. If you try the chat option, it will go into an email. When you email, you don't get a response. They give you a tracking info, but if you click the link, you get an error message. If you go to their website and enter the order number, it will say that the order does not exist.

And a ‘rain jacket’ big enough to accommodate all that fluffy fleece and oversized hood makes the whole thing hugely cumbersome and clumsy. I think Baerskin needs to spend a little more money on customer service and order tracking, and a little less on advertising. I ordered mine on Jan.14, and have not yet received it on Jan 25th. No problem there, but when I tried tracking it, the tracking only shows it's been moved to another facility. It says absolutely nothing about where it is. Seeing's how they are sending it USPS, why not send a USPS tracking number? I seriously doubt I will be doing business with them again. If this hoodie measures up to the hype, I may consider it, but when I see millions poured into an ad campaign, I always question the quality.
Update it's not worth a hundred dollars no way..you will need something decent underneath looks nice plenty of pockets yes..but there's other stuff that can do the same job..but it's not bad

One thing I don't like in this video and I f****** hate this with all clothes, When a pocket is closed the zipper should be all the way down Not all the way up If the zip it gets worn out, it could start to slide open you could lose something. Like the front hand pockets, When they're fully closed the zipper should be all the way down When they're open the zipper should be at the top

The BaerSkin hoodie is basically a really warm sweatshirt. So I wouldn't say that it will replace a coat

I've never noticed them while sitting down, everything is still comfortable

Depends on the angle of the pocket. If it zips from the bottom up, items could fall out of the pocket when opened.
