This is by far the bet and informative video on Japanese Art history. Please upload more in the future, would greatly appreciate it. -Michelle from New York City
Last year, I had an exam about Japanese art. Your videos helped me passing it. I hope your channel also helped many others. However, I never thanked you, so I'm doing it now. Thank you so much for sharing your passion about art!
This series is so awesome! It deserves way more views :(
Wow, this is so thoroughly researched! Thank you for putting so much effort in this!
Thanks for watching! I learn a lot myself while making these :)
Really great series, please keep it up! Very interesting and well put-together
This was super informative and thanks so much for putting this together! I really hope to see the sequels for Edo Period up till present day Japan.
This help my college assignment a lot since the video is very informative. Thank you so much!
All of the pieces you showed were stunning! My favourites were the blue and gold style ones.
Bravo! Hypnotic explanation. Smooth and swift, concise and precise. Bravo!!
So sad that the series is not complete.
This is looking to be my favorite video from you.
Glad you enjoy it, John! Thanks for watching
Honestly, while I get most of this particular era in terms of history, your previous vids also cleared up quite a bit about the ancient history, as well, and I have to say, Thanks.
Good Very good
I want more, please.
Best series on japanese art history i've ever seen! I've watched every single one of them. Are you still making the other episodes or is this series over?
Thank you🩷
Amazing but so disappointed that cant access Edo art.
I am building a Japanese man cave based on Matsumoto Castle. You have done a fantastic job researching your and presenting the information.. I have watched this 5x!!! The only critique I would have and it nothing you have control over is the you voice is not a TH-cam voice which would be an issue if your material was uninteresting. Your material and presentation however are so fantastic the voice factor is irrelevant. Fantastic effort! I am looking forward to see the rest of the series!
Thanks for this series. My wife and I just came back trip to Kansaii, and aside from the tourist maps and rail guides, this video series of yours proved the best crash course I could take for that trip. :)
(Well, this and the an NHK series, but I used your outline to guide my search for NHK episodes.)
Although of course, you haven't gotten to videos for the Edo period and later yet so I can't help but wonder what insights I might have missed. :)
Hm. Great stuff. I hope you keep 'em coming. (I'm particularly curious about Modern and Contemporary Japanese Art.)
thank you for hard work!!!! but i wanted to ask did you delete the rest of vidoes??
I can't find the next video for the Edo period.
21:27 Jin Kazama’s stage in Tekken 3
where is the rest of the series? I see this one is the last video you made
Edo is still in progress - It's a long one!
i wanna see it!
@@littlearttalks I wanna see it too!
I searched it after watching doremon where dekisugi explained that era
Can you please tell me the sources you're using for your videos? I would like to make a presentation about this art of painting futsuma. Very good!💕
Well done! 物の哀れ!
Amazing work! What about the following parts about XXth and XXIst centuries? Thanks
👍👍👍
