Just wonder how so cool channel could have only 4 000 followers. It looks like you really make an effort to do your videos interesting. Thank you very much for your work and i wish you success in your project!
+Little Art Talks, this weekend I was thinking about how many similarities there are between Japanese and Western art without being ever in touch with eachother. Western medieval art, like for example the Bayeux Tapestry ( en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bayeux_Tapestry ), tell also stories about history. There are also other examples, like paintings of 'the crucifiction of Christ'-story, etc., except the story should be read from left-to-right, instead of right-to-left like in Japanese art. Just thought it was interesting, anyways; I hope you are doing all right. :)
I'm really interested in what you have on The Genpei civil war, I'm currently writing something on it and your videos of japanese art history is just a really great in depth peek into how it was back then.please keep up the good work
+teppie gonzales Hi Teppie, I'm glad you liked the video! As for Genpei, you might want to look up A history of Japan to 1334 by Sir George Bailey Sansom (you can find most of the book on Google Books for free) It has a chapter on it, and maybe see if related books are of any use. Good luck!
Hello! I'm very fascinating with your art talk channel and it is a very beautiful work of you! and I would like to request to or answer me here that, What are "Fine artist?"; "Visual Art?"; "Conceptual art?"; "Contemporary art?" and more.... and What are the different from one to another? and How can we define one artist in which category? I don't know my question is a lame or stupid question or not but please do help me with this. Anyway, I'm from Cambodia and would like to invite you to Cambodian art, Angkor Wat.
@Anthony, I can't reply directly to your comment, but those are all great questions that I plan on delving more into in future videos. For "What is Contemporary art" I have a video that may be helpful here: th-cam.com/video/N6rPtmiJ678/w-d-xo.html Would love to visit Angkor Wat one day :)
