I remember first seeing Morty Gunty on a local NYC based kids tv show"The Funny Company"/"The Morty Gunty Show"on WOR TV Ch.9 in NYC back in the early 1960's.

I was age 9 back then and barely remember this show, it was similar to TattleTales, but not near as good.It probably didn't stay on long.

I just assumed that Holiday Inn was fancier in those days. Guess that wasn't the case, lol

Hey! This looks just like Tattletales! What's the difference?

+Tubewings OK, but the general format looks very much like Tattletales. Did Tattletales involved from this, perhaps?

Tubewings Did "Tattletales" eventually replace this show?

Tattletales used Sony Trinitron Monitors as opposed to 'trick camera' monitors.

Really just the name. Both were Goodson-Todman shows.

Tattletales was a repackage of this show. This program was on NBC, and didn't draw, with this format. That's why the early seasons of Tattletales had the buzzers, only to phase them out by 1975.

Reiko was right about spaghetti and garlic. Funny how cultural wisdom about diet changes over the years. The asian cultures are lightyears ahead of the west.

Oh, this is dreadful! Clunky, stiff and unfunny. I never cared for Joe Garagiola doing anything outside of NBC baseball broadcasts.

This was reworked into Tattle Tales, which had a better host, Bert Convy, better questions and better celebrities.

Joe GARAGEola was, without a doubt, the worst game show host in the history of TV.
