spicy take but IMO mirage is stronger if you ignore 3 entirely and build pure gun damage and use echo shard for tornado kill confirms. the fights have to be so crazy long for 3 to get value on mirage, it really does nothing on 1x, 2x, it starts doing something at 4x but its not really huge. you kinda want that 4 stacks for real value as far as killing is confirmed. feels like a lot of its damage is irrelevant tickle damage that inflates end game stat, unless your entire teamcomp is designed around long lasting fights. just going single target nuke mirage feels stronger. you can insta gib someone in a fight, and when you have echo shard you can kill 2 people quick in a fight, or 1 tank quick. imo the assassin style makes him feel more impactful. the bullet resist minus on his 2 synergizes well with it, and the 1 provides free easy headshots. i am only 2100 neko though and i know most people seem to think mirage 3 builds is the way to go, so maybe im just stupid, but i really never feel concerned when theres an enemy mirage doing that, it feels like it just doesnt matter at all, its just a really really really unthreatening version of an infernus playing with ricochet. meanwhile assassin mirages blows you up. For example in this game you did 4k damage with djinns mark, Infernus did 12k with afterburn. The gun build viscous did 4k with splatter, basically everyone who built around a skill did at least 2x as much damage as you did with djinns mark. i REALLY dont see how that is value. if you did 10k with gun, 4k with djinns, and you built for djinn, where was the value? you did 439 with ricochet, where was the value? meanwhile if you just full built gun instead you would have done 20k with gun, 1k with djinn, so sure you lost 3k djinn damage that had 0 impact anyway, but you gain 10k gun damage that probably converted to actual kills. djinns mark just seem like a complete bait build to me but considering its what mirages play in both my tier and those higher (im like top 2-3%?) maybe im just dumb? but if i play a djinns mirage build i have considerably less impact than if i just did an assassins mirage, and a lot of the damage i do deal with djinns mark is completely irrelevant as it doesnt convert to kill, instead its just padding the damage dealt stat. i can see how a djinns mirage is good in organized play if you drag out fights purposely, you basically force people to withdraw to avoid too high stacks, but in pubs? hell naw.
mirage is one of my fav heroes to play right now, I like to hyper farm with him and get ricochet as soon as possible and just mooch as many camps as i can. That and spiritual overflow really seem to work on mirage. Love the video, keep it up!

Honestly, I've been feeling more and more that Mirage's thing is his scarabs rather than his mark, thanks to that sweet sweet -25% bullet resist and heal. The mark just takes so long to build up, that by the time it pops you've already downed the target with your gun, or been forced to back off.
I've been playing Mirage lately as well, but with a slightly different build, I go mystic burst into improved burst for that 7% of max health dmg, then I have quicksilver reload, it's really good early for the flat dmg, but also just having that instant reload is great since with my build I do manually pop my stacks a lot more. Then I go surge of power, again, you can pop this all the time for a basically constant movement speed boost, and then you get a ton of spirit power for your 3 and some fire rate on top of that. Last of my 4 core spirit items is boundless spirit since it just gives you so much in terms of stats. For my gun items, I like to start with restorative shot or monster rounds, then high velocity mag which builds into pristine emblem and close quarters into point blank. I also get swift striker pretty early on for fire rate, but holding off and going into burst fire or escalating resilience would also be good here. Endgame what I aim for is Point Blank, Pristine Emblem, Ricochet, Spiritual Overflow and some form of fire rate either Swift Striker, Burst Fire, or Escalating Resilience. Vitality items I try to get by with just sprint boots and extra stamina to begin with, then get bullet lifesteal and upgrade to enduring speed and superior stamina down the line... For the late game I also go leech... So now, my build might look something like this: Gun items: Point Blank, Pristine Emblem, Ricochet, Burst Fire Vitality items: Enduring Speed, Superior Stamina, Bullet Lifesteal, Leech Spirit Items: Improved Burst, Quicksilver Reload, Surge of Power, Boundless Spirit So what do you fill up the flex slots with? I go Spiritual Overflow as I mentioned earlier, and then inhibitor, and Mystic Reverb. between all this, enemies will be slowed to hell, they'll deal massively reduced damage to you and your team, and your 3 pops for like 1.3K total on multiple targets even at just 4 stacks... And the last slot is open to whatever you want I guess, you're rarely gonna get to this point anyway but something like a knockdown for a Vindicta, Curse etc. Soul Rebirth or Diviners Kevlar are all great...
Right now Kelvin can ult the Patreon but he still freezes gardiens. Mo & Krill also can't use targeting activation items like phantom strike and silence while in borrow. He can still use warp stone

On another note, one question I had from a lot of the gameplay is couldn’t you make farming a bit more efficiently by using the activate on your 3? Like shooting minions and camps until they’re almost dead and using 3 instead of shooting to finish, just to save a little time and ammo?
He will be broken if its literally like Twisted fate or Np from Dota 2 if they just gave him a free bind/stun like effect. Where you either choose to go in with 1 or save to escape make him more like azir from lol ngl I like the design.

I've only tried Lash a couple games bc I kept getting huge lag spikes while in the air and missing my dive strikes (or at least getting overly stressed about it). Not something I've seen on any other char.
Gonna be honest ive seen a ton on mirage gameplay and i never see ricochet do anything. I think its better to skip and just stack one target personally
