I remember when I first started electrical trade back in 2004 when I was greener than green and I was very fortunate to have a very experienced journeyman just like Stan teach me for years from conduit bending to landing switch gears disconnects step up step down transformer subpanels name it he taught me I have everything that I currently have thanks to him he probably doesn’t even know it but he was very patient with me very old school he would only tell you once you had to pick it up extremely fast but now looking at my career in my 19th year as a foreman myself I take the time to teach my apprentices what that old-school journeyman taught me and he was just like Stan wouldn’t use a tape measure he would make it seem so easy and now I do the same thing for my apprentices and I could see the look in their eyes a damn bro you’re not using the tape measure you did a four bend saddle with no effort
Wow, you make that look easy. Went back to watch the other two videos because I believe I'll be needing this practice very soon. Thanks for sharing, Stan! Sincerely, TZ
This is a good tip, I have a corner like this that needs working around, and this might be the best way of doing it. Thanks again for the videos on this.
Dude you the best thank you so much for these video I come across alot of older guy that just don't wanna teach working beside them Now I can go on my own with confidence
Amazing how many "electricans" don't even know that the star is the back of the bend ....amazes me ....I loved "benfields' (I think it was?) conduit bending booklet full of tips and quick reference standard measurements where to put marks
Stan I don't think people know how difficult it can be to use a "simple" bender if you don't have either the professional training or the experience that years doing something can bring. Thanks for sharing!
I think the problem for a lot of electricians is they don't know how to use the markings on the bender once you understand the markings it's fairly easy, I also say bending pipe and laying out a pipe run you have to have a good imagination if you know what I mean.
You can’t do that. This dude is so experienced that everything is so simple for him. This guy is a Jedi Master. Don’t think you can do this a normal day job if you don’t have the experience as him. He knows how much pressure to apply and tips and tricks because he’s been doing it so long. In other words use the tape measure.
I appreciate your no-nonsense approach on pipe bending and showing how to also do it without a tape measure when applicable. I don't know if you're doing it for our benefit or not so the mark shows up easier but I cringe every time I see you grab that sharpie. 😬 Lol
Enjoy watching your vids. I'm a new electrician, and I'm currently learning how to bend. Hence, I have a question: Why wasn't a box off set done on the EMT?
Man Stan, what was all of that sound in the background? LOL, I hope you know I'm just fooling, and actually it's good to be reminded what work sounds like now and again...it's been too long since I roamed a real industrial jobsite, though it's likely I am glad they haven't invented Smell-O-Vision yet, or is that a battery powered forklift? Aloha...Chuck
Dudes as bad as me with his trusty cart always next to him. I have 3 😂. But he has a pimped out steel cart with a drawer, bender/handle storage, with pneumatic wheels. Nice
Because who cares if boxes and pipe are plumb and level ....just let everything look like crap.....AGGGHHHHH ....I had to work with guys that did not own a level and possessed no natural sense of ....I would actually go back on lunch break or after hours straighten out their crap (as much as I could ) ....Why? Because I HATED the idea SO much that anyone would think I did it! ...Guys....spend extra minutes and keep everything plumb or level ....uniform .....I seriously would love Love LOVE to beat the HOLY CRAP out of whoever ran some of the installations I have seen! No pride whatsoever ASSHHOLES!
Hats off to a real tradesmans display of PROPER conduit bending.
This guy is a dying breed. With all the hacks out there nowadays you would be lucky to run into somebody like him. Thanks for sharing the knowledge.
Thanks Stan, Please keep them coming,... My son is in school to be a residential/commercial electrician and these videos help him.
This on-site industrial daily stuff format is fantastic!!! Thanks Stan!!!!
I look forward to the next video in your pipe bending series! They're very informative and easy to understand. Keep up the great work!
Wow, you make that look easy. Went back to watch the other two videos because I believe I'll be needing this practice very soon. Thanks for sharing, Stan!

This is a good tip, I have a corner like this that needs working around, and this might be the best way of doing it. Thanks again for the videos on this.
Love those conduit straps, no more box offsets needed, wow.
The conduit bending videos are a huge help. Running conduit in my shop today. Thanks.
Great series! Came over from Tom's video.
Jesus you are incredibly skilled !!!!
Hi Stan, I really like how you have simplified the bending process in these videos. Thanks
Dude you the best thank you so much for these video I come across alot of older guy that just don't wanna teach working beside them Now I can go on my own with confidence
please more videos stan. they are outstanding
Amazing how many "electricans" don't even know that the star is the back of the bend ....amazes me ....I loved "benfields' (I think it was?) conduit bending booklet full of tips and quick reference standard measurements where to put marks
Stan, you are a pipe bending machine. You make it look so easy.
Please make more sir. Appreciate your work.
The impressive part is using the stand off straps to give you the little space to kick the 90 on to the vertical portion
You make it look so easy. Thanks.
You're videos are great dude. Loving these electrical/conduit tips!
You make that look way easier than it's ever been for me. I guess I need more practice.
Man, short but great. Makes it look so simple lol.
Stan you are the MAN , Thank you !
Thanks for these vids. been doing elect. for years but never a great bender
I like your style brotha! Keep them coming

Thank you for your videos. God bless you!
Wow thanks for the videos! You make it look so easy. Much appreciated! Can’t wait to try this out
I wish I had a mentor like you man. My boss works through the day and hardly shares anything with me.
Love your conduit bending videos
I love all of his videos. Stan is a great guy.
1" 3 point saddles and other small saddles are always a pain for me. Every time I use one is been so long. Got any tips?
it would be nice to see a video on how to match pre existing bends
Hey Stan thanks for the video you method taught me a lot and thanks again man
Thanks for the tip! Please keep making videos
It was the knock-into-place at the end that did it for me.
im loving this series.
any chance of a concentric 90 video and stacked off-sets?
what is that type of pipe strap your useing called? no offsets need with those ones
Conduit hanger.
@@ShadonHKW thanks
This guys an animal I love it awesome vids 2nd year apprentice
Throw that tape right outta here! Love it! That's my style
was this recorded at Gillig bus assembly in Livermore, CA?
Great work!
gawd damn that was amazing thumbs up stan
Stan can you make a video where you explain how to properly take some out of an offset/bend that’s been bent too much ?
What kind of clamps are being used?
Conduit hangers, we call them "minis"
looking for concentric 90° bend examples---can't find any on UTUBE
Thank You!
You can’t do that. This dude is so experienced that everything is so simple for him. This guy is a Jedi Master. Don’t think you can do this a normal day job if you don’t have the experience as him. Good job dude
Nice Video. Are you using the Ideal Tote Bag?
Tuff Tote, bought in 97 and warrantied 3 times free of charge :)
nice beautiful technique
You are one smart man.
Damn! Too easy. In lovin' it.
MAN I WANT TO LEARN UNDER YOU. WHERE ARE YOU?
I agree, haha.
He does simplify it pretty good!
Bent to perfection!
How the pros do it 👍

Enjoy watching your vids. I'm a new electrician, and I'm currently learning how to bend. Hence, I have a question: Why wasn't a box off set done on the EMT?
The conduit hangers stand off your conduit from the surface, so offsets arent needed.
@@ShadonHKW Thanks!
Great JOB
Your are máster of máster in industrial electrical tanks for your video tutorial .
THE BOSS of bending!
Great video
This guy is a genius
#4 comin'?
With the greatest of ease.... 👍

Thanks for the lesson...
More bending please. awesome
wow! that was awesome!

Eres bien practico te felicito.la próxima vez tienes que usar guantes de seguridad porque este trabajo es peligroso.
Beautiful
Good job i like it m teacher thanks
Thank you
Wish you were my journeyman lol
"Tip of the day", or possibly tip of the iceberg. :-)
Amazing.
Stan more parallel bends.
Good vid 👌👍 please start using pencil
Great video! Just cringed seeing you throwing your tape though!
Still on part 4
Marvellous!
Stanley...
He wants to help you do things right.
Felicidades , acá en México hacemos en 1 min lo que tú tardaste en hacer 4 min .
En ese minuto que tu dices inclulle la filmada del video y la explicacion como haserlo??
you are the best
I don't like that it is touching a cabinet. If it vibrates it will make a noise and wear off the paint.
Alexey Gerasimov
Good point 🤔
I work on and fix those riello burners.
I like them much better than the power flame.
Shadon HKW pooper flames! yeah when I walk into a boiler room on a service call and see dark blue I know I'm in for a rough day!
Nice tip Stan! ;{)------
we don't need not stinking tape measure! when I install outlet boxes, I use a hammer standing on the floor to mark my height :)
Ha ha .. now your thinkin :)
Legend
can i be your apprentice
:45 😂 classic
Dudes as bad as me with his trusty cart always next to him. I have 3 😂. But he has a pimped out steel cart with a drawer, bender/handle storage, with pneumatic wheels. Nice
Only thing wrong, you never use a sharpie. To mark your conduit, always use a pencil
Pencil marks dont show up in videos.
Nice

He likes his sharpie huh? Want it to look good, use a pencil
That is just black magic ;-)
