I’ll make some more comparisons. I would like to also make comparison videos on the Sport to the equinox too but I don’t have the 10” stock DD coil for the sport. I’ll try to see if there is someone out there that would like to trade off a couple of my coils for a single 10” or has a spare, etc. I’m glad you enjoy the videos I’m making, I always try my best with them. I’ll be back out soon Detecting and will have a new video out. I didn’t detect last weekend and am unable to go this weekend as well.
Turned out awesome... tried to get in a quick hunt just to see what would happen on another “in town” site. I’ve never been very successful on in town sites and kept telling myself the ones I’d been to had been hunted too many times prior to me being there that it’s not worth my time. Tables are kind of changing now so I may be going “in town” more often now. Thanks for checking the video out.
Thank you Michael... glad you like the video. It’s cool that you run the same machines. I also like both machines but I will need to downsize eventually to help support my efforts in making video and advancing forward to equip what machines I have now. Ive tan the V for a long time and I believe it’s time to move on from it. It’s always a hard decision... Where do you stand on machines? Do you tend to pull the V out or the Equinox more when going detecting?
Since I got the nox the v3i has collected a little dust lol . I also have had the v3i a while approx 6 years . I agree that it’s time to move on from it also . It’s been a great machine but all the new technology and new machines coming out I’ve got fever for new toys . Keep up the good work with the videos I really enjoy watching . You do a very good job .
Squirrel you’re turning me into an equinox convert! Love the video as always. Make sure and post the before and after on that silver ring. It’d be cool to see the transformation.
Lol. I’m really enjoying the equinox experience so far. I’ll make sure make a short video clip of the ring and store it as it exists now. Then once I get the ring back I can show it all fixed up. The jeweler I know is a good friend and does some awesome work. He’s used to me bringing in stuff that’s crushed wanting it new again. Lol. Amazing how things turn out, already spoke to my wife about her birth stone going back in the ring instead of what’s in it now being a tigers eye type stone. Fun project. Thanks for checking out the video. 🙂
That’s what it all boils down to... just want to find stuff and enjoy the time while doing it. Greatly enjoying this new experience. Thanks for checking out the video.
Thanks, it was a quick hunt to get out with the Minelab on another city hunt. I can count on one hand the rings I have found over the years, very happy with this one. Excited to take it in and see what a friend of mine can do to bring back to life a nice old ring. Thanks for checking out the hunt. 🙂
It's been a few years since I've hunted but i just ordered an equinox 800. I really enjoy your videos and appreciate that you show the trash as well as the treasure.
Thanks. 🙂 there was a auto correct change in your sentence but I believe I’m answering correctly. I’m a CCDW instructor.. yes. 🙂 I’d forget my wallet before that when leaving the house. Thanks for checking out the video and take care.
I was out today before work and found an almost identical bracelet and bell thing. I was watching the video going, "hey, I just found that" ha. Great video, I like that you post your settings as I'm only on day 5 of my 800!
No way!!! That’s awesome. I think that’s a bell for a bike, really reminds me of one. Could be something else though so if someone comments on an ID other than a bell I will report to you. Very cool found the same stuff out hunting on the same day... my hunt was Friday evening with a very late night editing. Lol. Glad you like to see the settings, trying to keep everyone on the same page as to what I’m doing out there and how it performs. Thanks for checking out the video.
Keep the Equinox videos coming! Your editing is excellent and so is your plug cleanliness brother. Great vids. New subscriber and owner of the 800. Again, we’re lovin’ the Equinox videos!
Thank you very much and glad that you enjoy the videos I’m making. I appreciate that you susceibed... very cool. I try my best with the yard plugs... it’s ultra important if you ever want to be invited back or detect the adjoining homes to the one you just dug. Thanks for checking out the video and for the kind comments... I hope to be back out very soon to make another video.
I like this channel you're straight forward with comparing your machines I enjoy your videos teaching me how to go about finding old houses ect..keep up the great work atb Russ.
Thanks Russ and glad your enjoying the videos I’m making. I try to portray everything in the hobby in my videos to educate and entertain with words that aren’t tongue tied by a manufacturer sponsor. Thank you for checking my videos and good luck with any hunts you have coming up.
It's great that you are dialing in the 800. Now you have all new sites.... lol so you can now go back over all of your previous sites to possibly find more great finds. How cool is that!
I like what you said at the conclusion of this video. I too have an Equinox 800, and I am still learning as well. I have been watching your informative videos for a while and have subscribed; however, I have always wished you were using the Equinox 800 instead of your Whites. You impressed me with your understanding of those two machines. I could only imagine how much I would not only enjoy, but learn from you, to finesse the Equinox 800. I thank you that my wishes have come true. Also you seem to enjoy detecting in the farm fields for colonial relics, that is exactly what I do. I live on the Eastern Shore of Virginia, a very rural farming area that was colonized shortly after Jamestown. Our family farms have been settled very early on mainly by old English Land Grants. I only began detecting about a year ago but I have been fortunate in finding colonial relics and coins mainly because I have had to teach myself about everything. None of my family or friends are interested in the hobby. I have read, watched a lot of TH-cam, joined metal detecting groups on Facebook and asked questions from folks like you. In short, any videos of you using, explaining, experimenting, and showing your viewers what you learned about the finer techniques of finesseing an Equinox 800, I will never miss a one. If you get the Equinox down like you have the Whites, then a lot of new Nox users will be subscribing to your channel. Wait and see if I am not correct. This machine is one of the hottest on the market. And I know a lot of them are like me. You are fairly new to the hobby. You hear this machine is the best around for the money and you just got to have it. Well much of this is true, but it doesn't jump out of the box and do all this fancy finding all by itself. A lot of younger folks like this will just give up. I am 66 years old. I wasn't allowed to give up growing up on the farm, that's why I have been somewhat successful learning and using on my own. So many people today want it now and all too often done for them. For these reasons and others, I think you will find a lot of support for your new video content using the Equinox 800.
Thanks Roland... your words are very kind and I relate on many fronts from your words. I too grew up on a farm... I know the feeling of never quitting although throwing square bails on the 4th tier in late July... sometimes I really wanted to. Lol. Kinda miss all that to tell ya the truth. I learn with every trip to the field and with every signal I dig. During this period I am especially paying attention to not only the machines ID’s but how the machine is responding such as hesitations, small breaks and items like that. It will help me in the future as I dig the plugs that house the targets with those hesitations, etc. knowing what the targets are most likely going to be. Only with time and long hours of hunting will I become proficient with the machine. I can say that with a little bit of knowledge and reading the manual that folks can pick the equinox up and be successful right out of the gate. But... to be getting maximum performance... that only comes with use, trial and error and speaking with others running the same machine. Thanks for checking out the video and commenting... glad that we are both running the same machine now.
Nice hunt. It's good to see your renewed enthusiasm and energy while digging. It shouldn't, and doesn't matter what machine you use, as long as YOU are having fun and enjoying it, that's all that matters!!
Thanks man, had fun out therechecking this site out again. I’ll keep swinging whatever does the best and finds stuff... makes for a better day not worrying about it much. I would like to ask... if I sold the V3i what machine out on the market would you like to see take its place within a reasonable price range. I can’t afford the CTX. Lol. Thanks for checking out the video and take care.
@@squarenailsquirrel9638 I would wait for a bit before trying something new. I hear that Garrett might be coming out with a new machine. Keep up that great videos! Sometime we need to talk digging over dinner or something.
Another great video. I metal detect in Nebraska, and use a White V3i and DFX. It takes some getting used to and you have helped me in setting up mine for cornfield Hunts and high EMI areas...using the different ground filters etc. You are a natural and one of the few narrators who explain things well. Keep up the great work Square Nail !
Another great comparison hunt. You are an amazing teacher as each time I watch I learn something new lol. Thanks for sharing your hunt and finds. I always enjoy watching. Take care.
Thanks CCHS... I try my best with these. Right now I’m learning so much about the new machine and it’s responses it’s kind of an overload but dang I’m having fun with the overload of learning. Lol. Thanks for tuning in to check out the video.
@@squarenailsquirrel9638 , I wish I lived several hours closer to you. I would buy your lunch and dinner to have you teach me a few things with my new 800. Its trial and error right now lol. I'm slowly getting the hang of it and having a blast. Take care.
That’s great Henry... always a good feeling knowing you as well as other folks are enjoying what I’m doing on here. I’m thankful you tune in to check the videos out. 🙂
Hey Kenny, saw this tip on another Nox users video. Thought you might find it helpful. Here is a tip someone from Friendly's Forum just passed on to me: "on those 12,13,14,15 type tid's switch over to 10 or 15 MHz freq and if the number jumps to the 20's then it is for sure a bottle cap. I have tested it over and over and it is pretty much 100 % Corona's and Bud lights are another story but they are never in the low teens, for me they hit between copper and dime"
Good to know... I will keep this in mind. I have noticed I am having a hard time getting around the twist off caps, like the metal 80's type that came on the "fat" bottles. I try to dig every signal when the conditions are right but sometimes you need to be a little more sensitive to the yard where this technique would assist in that effort. Thanks for taking the time to share this with me.
Thanks Bartey and glad you liked the video. I really enjoy the new machine and it’s really scoring some great finds. Thanks for checking out the video.
I'm arriving late to your channel but really enjoying it so far. Just received my new 600 after detecting with an ACE 400 for a couple of years. Looking at a steep learning curve but your Equinox videos are a huge help.
Interesting comparison between the two machines, I've seen and heard many good things about the Equinox and what you demonstrated just reinforces the performance if the Equinox. Enjoy your channel and as always Be Safe and HH.
Glad that you enjoyed the hunt as well as the comparison on signals. The MX Sport does a great job and I actually favor it over the V3i due to being waterproof and simpler to use. there’s just something about this equinox that’s really changing my sites for me and my enjoyment levels... I feel way more confident in my hunt which really matters to me. I do have a question... if the V3i left is there another machine out there that you feel would be a good addition to the machines I feature in videos? You can name one or two if you wish.. I may think about doing something like that and keeping three machines with all of them being current machines.
I just got my Minelab Equinox 800 and I found a silver ring and a mercury dime, on my first two days hunting with it, plus a lot of clad coins. Great machine!
Now you know how I feel. It is a lot more enjoyable when you don't have to adjust and re-adjust. I see you are easily making small adjustments that improve your success. Remember low VDIs starting at 8 and going up through the 20s could be gold! Happy hunting.
Ha! Yes.. I’m getting that feeling. There’s nothing like finding old rings especially when they are real. I can count on one hand the “real” rings I’ve found over the years. Definitely going to get this one taken in to be fixed up. Yes, the 8-20’s I’ve tested on gold coins my wife and I bought for world traveling security as well as her jewelry (just don’t tell her lol) it’s amazing how small of a good piece of jewelry hits. Hopefully someday i’ll snag something gold, that will be a good day. Thanks for checking the video out.
That’s cool you have been on the equinox for a year now. If you ever have tips from experiences you have had with your Detector comment so I and others can learn from it. Glad you are liking what I’m doing on here and as always i’ll Keep what I’m doing real... that’s one of my main reasons for starting to make videos is to weed out the unachievable expectations and crazy proportionally explosive emotional reactions folks have when they find something just to gain attention. Lol. But... if I ever find a gold coin... I may act a little more excited than normal. 🙂 thanks for checking the video out and for commenting.
Your very welcome and I’m glad you enjoyed the video. I too love my eauinox... it’s one awesome machine. It’s cool you have one too so when I’m talking settings and such... we are talking the same language. Thanks again for checking out the video and good luck with any hunts you have coming up.
Thanks Kenny... turned out to be a great hunt. I like finding coins but I’m really into the personal stuff especially the silver ones. 🙂 gonna have to get this one fixed up for sure. Thanks for checking out the video.
Thanks Paul... I enjoyed finding some jewelry. I typically don’t find but maybe one piece over a years time. That’s great your also having success with the Equinox, it’s cool you can go back to permissions and hunt them again. I like it due to already having been to the sites and getting permission to hunt again is fairly easy. Good luck hunting and hope you score some good finds.
What an awesome hunt you had there 🐿️! 😀👍 Now you're not allowed to complain about not finding any jewelry anymore! 😉 That silver ring is super sweet, I hope you get it fixed, it will be a very pretty ring! 😀 Take care until the next hunt, can't wait to see what you will find next with the Nox! 😉😀
Thank you Heni. Lol 🙂 I guess I can’t complain anymore but I do believe the hello kitty ring helped me out on the luck side of things. I will be sending the silver ring in this coming week to see what can be done with it. I hope it can be restored as well as a new stone placed inside. I should be back out detecting soon but there may be a little wait before I can get another video out. Thank you for commenting as well as checking out the video. Take care. 🙂
I like the tones as well.. much more pleasing but there is also a big difference in the amount of tones you hear using the equinox over the sport. Clarity: Each swing you hear everything that’s in the ground.
Another great video. I broke down about a month and a half ago and bought two Equinox 800's, one for me and one for my girlfriend. We both love our new machines.
Great machine, you guys will love them. I've got 12 Large cents of many varieties, a 1833 caped bust half dime, a huge antique mens gold ring, shield nickel, 1800s Chinese coin, some silvers and Indians and much more just this season with the equinox. If the signal is not stable its probably trash. If it's a good target the equinox will be consistent with the vdi within a handful of numbers.
That’s awesome especially since the two of you can get out together and have a common interest. You know though... when you take a girl fishing she catches all the fish... same thing happens when you metal detect, she finds all the good stuff. Lol. 😂 I bought two V3i’s for my wife and I and ended up selling hers.. it was way to heavy for her to swing much over an hour.. she kinda lost interest in going after that. Maybe I need to get another equinox to get her back out in the field hunting. Thanks for checking out the video. Take care.
The Deus would be an awesome machine to win although I just don’t have the money for one. New unit is pretty high... just have to see what I can get out of the V3i when it goes although the resale prices on them are plummeting.
You're making me want a nox now lol. I'm glad you're having a good time with it, and making someone great videos and finds! Thanks so much for your videos and input!
Ha! I’m really enjoying the equinox so far. Most likely I will be dedicated to it within a few months because of the differences I’m having during my hunts. Between you and I and who else reads this comment... I believe in the near future the V will go wayside due to the difference. Problem is folks out there have expressed they count on me for V videos and info which may keep me swinging the V. Not sure yet but dang it’s hard not to pick up the equinox going out to hunt. Thanks for checking out the video.
Thank you 🙂, really liking that ring and ma going to send it off early this week to have it refurbished. I like bringing old jewelry back to life after it has been found... has a much better story other than buying it in a jewelry store. That 6” coil is on my radar to purchase... I hope to have one soon. Good luck with the curb strips, I bet the 6” will do an awesome job getting in-between all the trash to pull out some good finds.
GREAT VIDEO!!! I really enjoy watching you hunt, explaining what and why. If someone doesn't want to watch you use an Equinox, or hear why you like it, then they don't have to watch, it just that simple. Let them write what they want to, you just go ahead and do your thing. Thumbs up....keep on swingin'.
Thank you very much and glad you enjoyed the video. I’ll just keep on hunting with whatever machine I decide to use that day. I do wish I could do a straight field comparison between the Nox and the MX Sport but I don’t own the 10” DD coil for the sport. I bought mine used with every coil but the 10”. Glad that you like the info I include in the videos. Thank you for checking the video out and for commenting.
Thank you and glad you enjoyed the video. I hope the folks in sweet home get on the wagon and pick up the pace for getting in this race of awesome machines. I was willing to wait until that point although I never got any clarity by calling WE south, WE Oregon, emails to Oregon, talking to dealers as well as field team members. Just that someday a new machine will come out... and....we know that 😂 If they ever come out with something that’s comparable to the modern market expectations i’ll buy it. Always used WE since the beginning and as long as they exist... I’ll be interested in what they have for sale.
Nice video I would like to see you use the equinox finding a target with it then follow it over with MX sport to see what signals it shows or or if it picks up on the target Happy Hunting
Thank you. I would really like to do that since I can’t really get beat up on here about what settings I use when comparing the sport. The problem I have is the 10”DD for the Sport... I actually don’t own it. I have every coil besides the 10” DD coil because I bought my Sport used. It came with everything but that coil... kinda sucks. I tried asking Whites when I was fully dedicated to making Whjtes videos on here and they said they wouldn’t help me out getting the coil. The guy who told me that left the company recently so I thought about asking again but since I’ve made comments other than what they would want to hear in my videos... I’m sure they wouldn’t be up for it. The stock 10” DD coil I can’t jusify paying that much to obtain when I want coils for my new Equinox. Maybe I can make a trade to someone out there In which I will ask in an upcoming video so that I can do straight up comparison videos.
I know I've said it before, but when you get the 6" coil, hit this lot one more time. I really like your comparison videos or videos revisiting old sites with the Equinox that you've pounded with previous detectors. No site is ever hunted out. You can change your sweep angle 90 from previous hunts and find stuff missed, especially with a DD coil.
I’ll be getting the 6” coil eventually, really need that to improve my hunt. I also really need to get the 10” factory DD coil for the Sport too. When I bought my Sport it came with every coil but the factory coil, it was a used detector. Making direct comparisons is going to be tough due to the size difference I have from the selection of coils I own for the sport. I checked with whites when I was full on whites electronics on here and Instagram but they weren’t interested. So... I moved on. Long story with all that and other items which took place which kinda left me disappointed. Happened about the time I dropped the atomic symbol in my logo and decided to never go with sponsors or having manufacturers having my tongue tied in my videos.
Thank you very much and glad you enjoyed the video. Great to see you are running the equinox as well...very nice machine. Thank you for checking out the video and for the kind words.
You guys will love them. I used to run a whites mxt and only found a few old coins and valuables per season. Second season with Nox and already have 12 Large cents of all varieties, a 1833 caped bust half dime, shield nickel, 1800s Chinese coin, common stuff like modern silver, Indians, mercs, a huge antique mens gold ring and the list goes on, on in 2 months with the nox. Great machine, and once you learn it you will swear by it If the signal is all over the place on the vdi its pretty safe to say its trash. The nox is very stable on solid targets. The vdi may vary but only by a few numbers if its truly a good target. You will learn this over time. My friends AT Max picked up the gold ring I found as a square nail iron grunt, the Nox had no trouble picking it up as a good low tone. Very nice machine, great in trashy areas with lots of iron. Hh.
Will do.. going to keep on hunting with whatever is getting the job done and making the hunt fun. I really enjoy being out and discovering things.. there is so much to learn with every hunt and the experiences are very memorable. Thanks for checking the video out and for commenting.
Make sure to contact a dealer for their prices. I have one in Georgia you can call to get priced.. it’s way cheaper than online. Just email me and I’ll send you his info. He sold to two friends of mine so I trusted he would give the same experience so I called and found out I didn’t have to keep saving and had enough to buy a new unit. Came in two days and I’m in Ohio. Squarenailsquirrel at gmail
Wow!!! 47th machine! That’s a lot of machines over the years. I have heard a lot of great info about Blisstool products as well as the Deus. They interest me a lot... especially the Deus. A gentleman I speak with quite often runs the 800 and the Deus in tandem and really does awesome on his sites. Thanks for checking out the video and for commenting. 👍🏻
Great video buddy. I found a bracelet just like the small one you found it rang up like silver but no markings. I left it for the lady’s grand daughter
Thank you and glad you enjoyed the video. I’m sure the bracelet I found is something other than silver... it’s still cool to find it though. I didn’t leave the bracelet behind like you did but that would have been best. I like you style with giving some finds up... I tend to do that a lot. Thanks for checking out the video.
New subscriber great video I have been metal detecting on and off since 1972 machines are evolving at a quick pace its awesome when I started a machine might hit 5 inches and a high tone for something good maybe! really love the new tech! GL&HH!
Thank you for checking my channel out and for subscribing. That's great you have been detecting for so long, it's a great hobby. I started at 16 where I'm 39 now... pretty much one of the few hobbies I've picked up where it's stuck with me my whole life. Very glad you joined in on here... take care.
Very true and that’s how I’m taking things from now on. I just don’t want to upset folks comparing videos and I really didn’t like seeing subscribers arguing with other subscribers... just not the atmosphere I’d like for people to experience on here. I’ll be hunting with whatever works for me and as time goes add other machines and equipment. Just fun hunting and enjoying the hobby. Thanks for checking out the video and for commenting.
As a new subscriber, let me say that your videos are really interesting and very enjoyable. I'm ready to break down and buy a detector. Thanks for your hard work and dedication to the hobby.
Thanks Philip, glad that you enjoyed the videos. Metal detecting can be a lot of fun for many reasons other than finding things. Meeting people, exploring, the adventure of the discovery, being outside, daydreaming about how things used to be and who dropped for instance... the silver ring in this video and the History. There are many tiers of machines out there by many manufacturers and walking before you run is always best. I started on a 300.00 machine and have owned a few since which all takes time and effort to advance in the hobby. There are times that the hobby can be frustrating but overall it’s a great experience. Just be ready to dig bucket loads of trash with small amounts of good finds... that’s just the nature of the hunt. If it was super easy and all you found were very valuable items all the time everyone would be doing it. If you do end up deciding to get into metal detecting just take your time and read the manual, take notes and then hit the field. Metal detecting in the field experiencing signals and reactions of the machine are where you really learn what’s going on and what to dig. Take care and thanks for checking the video out.
Great video and good examples of how to use the equinox. Although I do cringe every time I see you cut a plug...I still have hope one day you will try making the hinge method plugs, so the grass will not be as harmed when you place plug back. Keep up the great videos and proof that the equinox is a great treasure finder.
Great video. I have been swinging the MX Sport for about a year now and have been thinking about making a switch to the Nox 800 for the same reasons you stated.
Thanks and glad you liked the video. I’ve have my Sport for about a year and a half and it’s been used a lot more than my V3i mainly due to being waterproof. I don’t really see a difference in depth between the V3i and the sport although I have noticed differences in responses to specific ranges of targets. The low signals seem it hit very well with the sport where the V is better on the high signals. I’ll do more comparisons between the Sport and the equinox once I obtain a 10” coil for my sport. I currently don’t have the stock coil so it’s hard to compare the machines unless I use the 9.5 concentric coil on the sport to the equinox running an 11. Thanks for checking out the video and for commenting.
Truly enjoying the Equinox. Whites has put out great detectors and I’ve trusted in them for many years. Things are just different for me now making the move to try a Minelab.
I'm still learning the machine since I obtained it only about a month and half ago. Still hours needed in the field to get used to trying things out by trial and error. I will share anything I find that helps out with the hung. Thanks for checking the video out.
You don’t happen to be on Instagram? I found a gentleman on there that has some amazing information about pulltabs with dates, areas they were manufactured and most likely what they came off of. Interesting stuff and can help date a site now that older pull tabs are getting pretty old. It’s weird since you associate pull tabs with a newer site although certain styles really have some age to them. Thanks for checking out the video.
@@squarenailsquirrel9638 I'm not but that is very interesting,i have two larger square type ones that i would like to have the design made into a silver versions.
Sounds cool, would definitly be different. I think the guys name is pull tab Paul on Instagram but I may be mistaken. If I can find him i’ll make sure to give you his @ name.
Good hunt. I tried to get a hold of you with my last comment to add you to the list of TH-camrs attending Pound the Ground Adirondack Coast but couldn't verify you were attending. Video was uploaded this morning. Hope to see you there if you are going.
Thank you, glad you enjoyed it. Hahaha!!! That’s how it goes... charged up excited to head out and it’s raining. Slap a rain jacket on and head out.. waterproof detectors never stay home when it rains. Lol. Just make a video please... gotta see this. 😂. Thanks for checking out the video.
Just a friendly heads up. You are notching out high karat gold chains and rings with stones or broken bands by rejecting 6 or lower. I found a huge antique mens gold ring with a huge tigers eye stone that was hand carved in the image of a queen, and it only rand up as a 9-10 low tone. A womans engagement ring with stones and filigree will be as low as 6. Yes usually those numbers are trash but sometimes they are gold! Thanks for the content. HH.
Wow thanks Pete... love the feedback and help. I’m still getting used to the equinox breaking my 23 year run of Whites machines use. I will need to just drop back down to the 0 (zero) threshold of disc’n out stuff. I didn’t realize gold would still hit down that low. I will make note and keep my accepted target ID’s down lower. Do you feel maybe going to go 3 would be suitable when detecting city lots like this?
You helped me make the decision I have been going over for a while. I’m gonna order the 800 with a 6 inch coil left handed model and an extra 10 inch coil for those days when barometric pressure is very low.
I always keep my headphones on my neck when I’m out detecting. Just in case. I did have one ☝️ guy try to walk by me one time without saying anything. He just about got hit with my handheld digger. I think he jumped higher than I did. Of like I’ve said before I do old churches as we both know. Most of them are in downtown. Not sure what your area is like. But mine has a lot of meth heads and some others. It’s a lot for a small town. So I’m always listening to my surroundings. It also comes with the job I use to have. Working in the industrial area. Always have to be aware of your surroundings. Getting out is the most fun. The finds are the bonus. Thanks for sharing. Tony
I have ran into some situations like that as well over the years. Always best to keep an eye out and be situationally aware. There can be some great places to detect in older parts of town that aren’t as prominent anymore. It’s cool to be there and seeing all the old Victorian and gothic revival homes as think about what it was like on that street in its prime days. Thanks for checking the video out and for commenting.
Thanks man... it’s an awesome one for me. I can count on one hand the number of “real” rings I’ve found over the years. Going to take his one in to be fixed up. Thanks for checking the video out.
well i still found a 14kt gold wedding band in a park in side the ring it said 2-18-1950 mx7 and found a palladium ring with 24 tiny diamonds PD950 which i both have and also have the xlt spectrum
I swing the AT max now but hopefully I will soon be getting the nox 800. I'll be doing the same thing and going back over my old permissions just for kicks. Very informative video! Thanks for sharing!
I haven’t tried a Garrett before but from what I’ve seen they do a great job. It may be good to keep a single frequency around for super EMI bombarded sites. I’m going to do that with the Sport since it’s nit effected by EMI very much. I know funds are hard to come by, or at least they are for me, to go out and buy a detector but see if you can work it out to run both.
I’ll just say that the decision to change was a good move for me and I’m really enjoying it. Just make sure to do me a favor and make sure to research and draw the conclusion that the decision to change is right for you. There are major differences in the tones, the amount of noise heard and feel of the machine. I can also say that the compressed scale takes some adjustment... I still can’t tell a wheat from a zinc but with time I should have that down. My main concern is that you would be as happy as I am after making the move and that you wouldnt have any regrets after you made the switch. I’m just being honest because all of these machines are pricey and I’m being sensitive to your enjoyment of the hobby.
They are pretty good machines and my experience has been good. I’m just one opinion on the machine so please research and make sure you would feel positively sure that it would be a good purchase for you. I just want to watch out for your interest because every dollar counts and I’m sensitive to that. Thanks for checking out the video, take care.
Yes, I hunted it in the 4th of July “town lots” and “corner lot” videos I made awhile back. There are many reasons I could have missed these targets on my previous hunts besides the difference in machine. I will need to visit more sites I’ve hunted in the past to see if the trend continues. I’m not sure if it’s the normal “there’s always something left” type thing after you hunt a site and go back to find more or if it’s the difference in machines. I do know that if I keep picking up really good finds I missed, possibly all at the specifically 6” and deeper mark, I will know it’s the machines. Only through use and field time will I know although as of right now I’m feeling my hunts are going way smoother and are more productive than normal utilizing the equinox.
So would you say the equinox is capable of deep targets? I seen a review on here by someone else and they claimed that it was only good 6 inches or less.
@@Commin_Cents I just recently bought the 800 an I've dug stuff to 9 in and picked up stuff a lot deeper and quit digging. Didn't want to hear Chinese talking. Seriously over a foot answer I'm sure it depends on ground and target
That was an awesome comparison and hunt. While I use the Garrett ace 300, only because I can't afford anything else. I will say this, dig it all, you never know what's in the ground until your holding it in your hand.
Thank you and glad you enjoyed it. I would do a in the field comparison between the two machines but I don’t own the 10”DD stock coil for the Sport. Don’t worry about having an expensive machine... if you know your machine well you will be successful with it. I hunted with a basic detector for many years, just knobs and tones and did a good job with it. Someday you can move into another machine but for now just focus on having fun with what you have. I too dig about anything, the good tones and the iffy ones... got to see what’s down there to really know what it is. Thanks for checking out the video.
It would be awesome if you could make vid of some targets you would not dig and explain why how you know I have had equinox 600 for a couple months and your channel has helped me more than you know this is my 1st machine lack of experiance is my number one problem just hope to shorten the learning curve however I can
Thank you and glad you enjoyed the video. To answer.. I use an iPhone 7 as my camera... it’s running the filmic pro app. There is a majorly complex recipe I have formed for translating the video over trial and error with lots of wasted money figuring out what produces great clear video on a TH-cam upload. It includes encoding by adobe premier pro, editing through the same and exporting on a H264 format. I also utilize the Filmic pro app setup in a crazy format using no digital stabilizer... makes recording ultra hard but it’s the only way to get clear video transformations. I also use a upgraded expensive upload speed (not download) from my internet provider which keeps the video clear. Each month for subscriptions to softwares, internet upgrades and other hardware items that wear out I spend about $90.00... it sucks but only way to do it.
Have to use what works best for you. I thought Garrett hung the moon until I took a chance on the Equinox. It has found targets behind the AT Pro. Just comes down to newer/better technology
Very true. I’m going to run what I’m getting the most enjoyment out of. It’s nice I never fell into the sponsor trap because I would have been stuck without being able to change machines. Really enjoying the experience. Thanks for checking out the video.
Really good video! Trying to decide (for primarily gold in the wild) between the 800 and the monster 1000. Looking more and more like the 800. Thoughts?
Both machines do an excellent job of finding nuggets the monster punches through at about an inch deeper than the equinox on small pieces the 6-inch coil on the Equinox is amazing for small tight areas either way there are excellent for Bedrock or shallow grounds with the Equinox you have more hunting opportunities like beach mode treasure hunting in the field or the park it's just more convenient it's almost like having a monster but you have a digital readout instead of a bar that is indecisive
James I have no experience hunting gold, hopefully Charles helped out with his comment on the machines. There was a video I watched on Aquachiggers channel where Minelab sent him one to try out. He just drove into the desert, detected a place known for gold and found gold. It was pretty awesome to watch and see how the gold monster works... I think both the monster and equinox would prove to be great machines since they have the frequencies needed to target gold... but that’s all I can speak for. Thanks for checking the channel out and hopefully others reply to your comment on here to help you better understand the difference the machines would make in your hunt.
Thank you, trying my best to do educational as well as entertaining videos. I can make mistakes and folks can laugh at me 😂 and we all can learn together. I really enjoyed the ring too... I’m sending it off next week to be looked at be a silver smith back home in Ky. He’s a friend of mine and likes the challenges and odd projects I send him. Once I get it back I will show it in a video. Thanks for your kind words and for checking out the video.
Great watch! do you have an idea of what you depth loss is when fighting high emi issues.. I am running Ace 400 and alot of times my machine goes absolutely bonkers close to power lines,,have to turn it down so low,,do not think it reaches 3''. seems like the Nox fights it off well.
I’m not sure of the loss of depth due to setting the machine to handle high EMI conditions. I’m still getting used to the machine although I have iticed that the area in which you are effected by EMI isn’t as broad as other detectors I’ve used at the same site. I can adjust for EMI and as soon as I move 5 feet farther away from the EMI source I can turn up the sensitivity and re-noise cancel and get back to detecting with higher sensitivity. Each time I move away from the sources I gradually can keep raising my sensitivity. I used to have to run super restrictive settings on my V3i to hunt the entire site which always lead to greatly diminished depth.
There are some sites that are just bad sites to detect. Typically when I tried my V3i and it didn’t work hardly at all due to having to set super restricted settings I would then go to my single frequency Sport to actually hunt the site effectively. It’s good to have a single frequency around due to the issues with EMI and multi frequency machines. I do feel that the equinox does a good job at quietening down EMI Interferences... at least on the sites I’ve encountered so far.
Last time I was at a site in Germany with high mineralised ground. My ace300i went crazy and could not be fixed with any setting on sensitivity nor frequency :) Thinking to Exchange my ace300i for a nox or deus , or just buy one extra :)
Ha! I actually though about that myself or getting the 600 to have less settings as well as frequencies to see if there really is an actually difference between performance. It would be cool to buy the 600, make the videos and then sell it. The resale value is amazing on them so would be a lot to lose out on to gain great info for folks to utilize when purchasing a machine. Like.. it is really worth it to spend the extra cash on the 800 versus just getting the 600. Since you sold the two other machines... do you only run the equinox now or do you have another brand detector as well?
@@squarenailsquirrel9638 I now only have the Equinox 800.. was thinking about a CTX... But rethinking that... I'm stuck between a 2nd 800 or maybe just spending the cash on a Garrett ATX pulse induction... I don't know if I would like it or not... The Equinox 800 is so flexible for different environments... The depth is phenomenal along with it's finding capability....
@@squarenailsquirrel9638 I was going to email you this question, but in researching your purchase of the 800, did you look at the Etrac? From what I can see, the Etrac offers a wider range of VDI target ranges, and you have more customization ability, but the 800 (probably because it has newer processor technology) offers quicker target separation between good and bad targets.
Way to go Squirrel! You found a lot of cool jewelry and some nice clad. Do you think the nox noise cancel (plus separation) allowed you to find more than with Sport?
Thank you Linda. I haven’t found that much jewelry in one day... ever. Junk or not junk. Lol. I believe having the multi frequency ability to be sensitive to a wide range of metals, the separation as well as the noise cancel helped out. The noise cancel really cleans up and steadys out the machine making it operable in high EMI situations, like the site in this video. Being able to turn up sensitivity as well as the separation had to play a by role as well. I found that clad dime just inches away from a giant piece of iron.. could totally tell it was there. Just shows the ability of being able to grab the target you want from a tightly grouped pattern of targets. Thanks for checking out the video. 🙂
Having two multi frequency detectors is confusing for me. Lol. I just need one and the one that I’m having fun with i’ll stick with. I’ve had the V for about 9 years and ready for a change, it’s served it time and found many items. Thanks for checking the video out.
I think we have all dreamed of the day when the perfect machine is created. The question is, when it arrives will we recognize it? Is this the case with the Nox? I appreciate your opinion and your video sure has filled in a lot of blanks. Thanks.
Ha! I’ve been waiting for the perfect machine all my life... it would include finding arrowheads with a target ID as well as all the normal metal ID’s. 🙂 I really am liking the equinox and it’s proving to be an awesome machine as we know it during this age in time. Advances in technology can only take us into the future with better machines. Minelab got us to where we are now and thankful for that. Thanks for checking out the video and for commenting.
I have ran into that a couple times. I always wonder if there was a 4-5 inch layer of slime added to the yard or I’d the coins really sank that deep after such few years of laying there. If it’s from just naturally sinking then the old stuff is majorly deep and out of range for VLF detectors as well as running AM channel. Thanks for checking the video out. 🙂
@@squarenailsquirrel9638 i got an old school with 1800 soil its paradise i was thinking about the axt metal detector in a couple years its a pulse can get deep in red clay
I’m not familiar with that machine. Friend of mine has a pulse made by Whites... he has to dig every signal though to find items. From hearing about pulse machines... they really go deep.
@@squarenailsquirrel9638 nokta is solid but it all comes down to getting a detector that u understand the language i study what i got for months before i made my decision that's why alot of detector go up for resell so fast ps don't sell the v3i last year i purchased an etrac it found alot of things but i never could get comfortable with it so i got my v3i out of the coner and learned it more sold the etrac
I did miss them hunting this site with the Sport... many factors can be associated as to why I missed them though. Can’t say it’s completely on the machine I was using but there did seem to be a difference in the targets obtained. I hunted it in the 4th of July hunt as well as the corner lot videos.
Just make sure after researching that it’s a good decision for you. There are so many awesome machines out on the market in which even after getting the equinox I still want to try the others out. I can say from what I’ve experienced so far.. the equinox does perform very well. Thanks for checking out the video.
I like the Nox, have 2 800's In fact and just found 2 more 1938 Dinars with one 50 odd minutes ago. But that said. You can go behind any detector and find more stuff. I know one thing. The MXTpro I also use goes deeper in the soil conditions I detect in the city by a good 2-4 inches any day, any conditions. The only stock detector (without a humongous coil on it) I have that goes deeper is my TDI PI. My first detector was a WW2 Mine detector...and it was not an antique when I started using it.
Very true with going back over sites and still finding items of interest. Very cool that you have used such an array of machines.. the pulse is a great machine. Too bad the engineer for White's that engineered a ferrous v/s non ferrous discriminating pulse processor just left for Fisher, would have been something new for them instead of re-packaging the same thing all the time. Good luck with any hunts you have coming up and thanks for checking out the video.
Dang that’s awesome. I hope to capture doing a 10”’deep silver find with my Nox... I just need to get back out and hunt some more... those deep ones are out there. Congrats on your find and thank you for checking out the video.
Whites seem outdated now, They need to catch up to the competition. Here lately ive been using P1, it has the best vdi and zeros in on deeper targets in my old test garden. I use to use P2 and G1 and G2 but they seem to pick up alot of micro metals that mess with vdi and tone nuances unless in cleaner ground. I found a few silvers and 30+ wheats at a pounded site in P1 recently. I generally use speed 6 and iron bias at 1 or 2. Anything over 3 and it can null decent targets out. Good hunt!
I recently have been trying out P1, seems to do great in these high trash areas where you would spend all day digging trash. It seems to really smash the good or interesting targets and just give blips on the junk. I saw my trash to treasure digs greatly increase on the treasure side utilizing it. I haven’t gone back over a site using F1 to test if the discriminating features of P1 are leaving and iffy signals begins or not. All with time i’ll get a better feeling for what to run on specific sites to feel confident with my hunt. I’ve heard a lot of folks talking about G1 and 2 on clean sites really pulling some deep targets out although I haven’t tried it yet. I messed with it in my test garden some but that’s about it. I have a perfect site to test some setting out that I’ve hunted out with the V3i and the Sport, like have been there at least three times for each machine running all sizes of coils. If the equinox sweeps up good finds on that site, even if there are only 3-5 items... I’m going to drop the use of the Whites machines. Spending countless hours detecting, planning, getting permissions and balancing life to find time to hunt isn’t worth going out to miss stuff due to the machine I’m running. Thanks for checking out the video and for commenting.
@@squarenailsquirrel9638 Well said, yea the G modes are crazy deep but super sensitive to micro metals but thats the point of it for small gold. In a somewhat clean sight you can get really deep. Looking forward to your videos esp on the pounded sight using the Nox. Happy hunting and good luck!

Ha! No superhero here... just a guy with a metal detector. 🙂 I enjoy the music and helps parlay the excitement I feel for a site to a viewer. Might be a little overboard at times, 😂, but I’m cool with that. Thanks for checking the video out.
Thank you very much and glad that your enjoying the videos. From my experience so far of using the equinox I will become dedicated to the use of the machine hereon out. Greatly enjoying my experience with the machine and it’s added a lot of fun to the hunt. Just wish I would have bought an equinox a year ago. 🙂 thanks for checking out my channel and for the kind comment.
Haha! I’m glad someone caught that. 🙂 I haven’t found that much jewelry on a single hunt during the whole time I’ve been detecting. Not all was real but still... it’s cool finds. Thanks for checking the video out.
Good stuff! I feel the same way about the equinox, I just really trust it and it’s done nothing but increased my finds over my other machines. That house looks pretty cool and old, do you know the age of it?
Thanks man. It was nice to go back and pick up what I did with the equinox. Greatly enjoying finding a ring, especially a real one. 🙂 The age of this house is around 1890 to 1905. The area it is built in spring up during that time on the maps and atlas’s I have. I have also done surveying around the area this house is located and the town plats were platted during that time laying out areas for the homes to be built on. The old town plate and the dates they took place help with placing a date. Thanks for checking the video out.
Please do more comparisons between the Nox 800 and the v3i. I REALLY enjoy your videos. I also like you telling about how you find places on old maps.
Another great day for you and the nox. Always look forward to your videos.
Great video squirrel ! I also use the V3i and the 800 so I love watching you compare the two . I think there both awesome machines .
Square Nail Squirrel lol
Exactly ! When it gives you finds and fun , that’s it .
I’m seriously considering getting the equinox 800 !
Thanks for the video 👍
That’s what it all boils down to... just want to find stuff and enjoy the time while doing it. Greatly enjoying this new experience. Thanks for checking out the video.
Thank you for your perspective!
Fun video!
Great Hunt Kenny! Well Said 👍
Thanks, it was a quick hunt to get out with the Minelab on another city hunt.
Great video, hope you were carrying if your in that kind of town. Lol thanks for sharing. Until next time HH&GL *Chris*
Take care.
What state are you in? For some reason GA comes to mind on your location. I travel quite a bit so there’s a chance if just stop by sometime.

Excellent video and finds! The nox800 is quite an impressive machine.
I just recently found your channel....I really like it...i am gonna keep following u
I have a 600 for about a year and I love it. I really enjoy your video thanks for sharing and keeping it real.
Thanks for the video. I love my nox 800 been doing good for me. Water and land. Happy hunting
Your very welcome and I’m glad you enjoyed the video. I too love my eauinox... it’s one awesome machine. It’s cool you have one too so when I’m talking settings and such... we are talking the same language. Thanks again for checking out the video and good luck with any hunts you have coming up.
From the sounds of the bass drop you diggin in the hood! Great video as always! My 800 is charged and ready.
Fun hunt today, that’s what I say about my nox. It’s fun to use. HH&GL on the next hunt. Kenny.
Thanks Kenny... turned out to be a great hunt. I like finding coins but I’m really into the personal stuff especially the silver ones. 🙂 gonna have to get this one fixed up for sure. Thanks for checking out the video.
Great finds. And yes, going over areas that ive detected with the Garrett 400, im still pulling out stuff with the nox 800. Great investment.
Take care. 🙂
I think one of my fav things about the 800 vs the sport is how pleasing the tones are on the 800 in comparison
I like the tones as well.. much more pleasing but there is also a big difference in the amount of tones you hear using the equinox over the sport. Clarity: Each swing you hear everything that’s in the ground.
Sure enjoying your videos.
Take care.
@@squarenailsquirrel9638 how about a deus very light then you can finish the loop of machines but tell her it's hers!
Good hunt, nice ring. I just picked up a 6" coil and hoping to try it out on the curb strips and trashy areas. Thanks for sharing :)
Another Great video! All I'm going to say is that the people in Sweet Home, better wake up. Because like myself, will be jumping to Minelab soon.
Great job! Great video! You are a class act. Love my 800 as well keep digging my friend.
Thank you very much and glad you enjoyed the video. Great to see you are running the equinox as well...very nice machine. Thank you for checking out the video and for the kind words.
Very cool video, love the education!! And the finds!!
Thank you very much Trish and glad you enjoyed the video. Thank you for checking the video out... i’ll show that ring once I get it fixed up. 🙂
My opinion is use whatever works and what finds stuff. And enjoy being outside. 👍 Happy hunting Kenny.
Great machine, and once you learn it you will swear by it
If the signal is all over the place on the vdi its pretty safe to say its trash. Hh.
Sorry ment to comment this to the comment above yours.
Will do.. going to keep on hunting with whatever is getting the job done and making the hunt fun. I really enjoy being out and discovering things.. there is so much to learn with every hunt and the experiences are very memorable. Thanks for checking the video out and for commenting.
@@squarenailsquirrel9638 I use an Fisher f75 right now, but I'm hoping to get a equinox 600 next year if I can save enough money. 🤞👍
I enjoy your videos your wrap ups are awesome
The Equinox is my 47th machine and one of the best I also use Blisstool v6 & XP Deus! Enjoyed the video!
New subscriber great video I have been metal detecting on and off since 1972 machines are evolving at a quick pace its awesome
when I started a machine might hit 5 inches and a high tone for something good maybe! really love the new tech! GL&HH!
Thank you for checking my channel out and for subscribing. That's great you have been detecting for so long, it's a great hobby. I started at 16 where I'm 39 now... pretty much one of the few hobbies I've picked up where it's stuck with me my whole life. Very glad you joined in on here... take care.
It shouldn't matter what machine you use as long as you are having a good time. I use both the Equinox and a Garrett AT Pro. Thanks for the videos!
Sorry, I don’t have that type of i on my keyboard.
Awesome, kenny🍾
Thanks Steven. Hope your out detecting and finding some cool finds of your own. Thanks for checking out the video.
Great video and good examples of how to use the equinox. Although I do cringe every time I see you cut a plug...I still have hope one day you will try making the hinge method plugs, so the grass will not be as harmed when you place plug back. Keep up the great videos and proof that the equinox is a great treasure finder.
Thanks and glad you enjoyed the video. 🙂
Like I said whites makes bottom rung detectors. Glad to see your enjoying the nox, i love mine.
Truly enjoying the Equinox. Whites has put out great detectors and I’ve trusted in them for many years. Things are just different for me now making the move to try a Minelab.
Great video now I can reset my Knox more information about the equinox would help me understand the machine quite well thanks for the information
I'm still learning the machine since I obtained it only about a month and half ago. Still hours needed in the field to get used to trying things out by trial and error. I will share anything I find that helps out with the hung. Thanks for checking the video out.
I love pull tabs i have a fantastic assortment...different part of town, you sure look pretty boy!
Great video as always. Enjoyed. Hh
Thank you and glad that you enjoyed the hunt. 🙂
AWESOME VIDEO. GOT THE NEW 800 CHARGED AND OF COURSE IT'S RAINING.
Great video
Thank you. 👍🏻 Hope your out swingin that Anfibio.
@@squarenailsquirrel9638 yes im very impressed with that machine i made a good choice nokta is really improving its detectors
That's true, most gold is down in the low 10's 5-7 etc
But you could always go back over the site in gold 1or2
@@squarenailsquirrel9638 yes I think that would work fine. Usually the only thing that would be 3 or lower is very fine gold chains.
Thanks for the info. I will run the machine accordingly.
Your very welcome. Yeah I do the same always wonder what it was like in its hay day and the stories it’s waiting to tell.
Nice big silver ring! Congrats!
Thanks man... it’s an awesome one for me. I can count on one hand the number of “real” rings I’ve found over the years. Going to take his one in to be fixed up. Thanks for checking the video out.
Did you make or purchase the drop cloth you use in your videos to put your plug on?
Great video!!!!
I've got the MX Sport and the Equinox 800. I`m surprised the MX missed so much? As always great video!
well i still found a 14kt gold wedding band in a park in side the ring it said 2-18-1950 mx7 and found a palladium ring with 24 tiny diamonds PD950 which i both have and also have the xlt spectrum
and i also have the equinox 800 which is doing pretty good too
looks like a great machine
I’m really enjoying the equinox... makes detecting a blast. 👍🏻 Thanks for checking the video out.
I've been on the fence for months now. And you've convinced me to sell my v3i plus 4 coils and get the Nox 800.
I just might do the same I hate to say it
I’ll just say that the decision to change was a good move for me and I’m really enjoying it.
Your making me wish I had one of them equinoxes lol
They are pretty good machines and my experience has been good. I’m just one opinion on the machine so please research and make sure you would feel positively sure that it would be a good purchase for you. I just want to watch out for your interest because every dollar counts and I’m sensitive to that. Thanks for checking out the video, take care.
I can't believe you've hunted this yard before and missed all those coins and jewelry. Makes me want to go out and buy an equinox 800.
Not a bad hunt! I love the jewelry and you can never get too much coins. Too bad there was fill everywhere though.
It would be awesome if you could make vid of some targets you would not dig and explain why how you know I have had equinox 600 for a couple months and your channel has helped me more than you know this is my 1st machine lack of experiance is my number one problem just hope to shorten the learning curve however I can
I’ll say it. “ The Pursuit Of Happiness”....
🙂 ha! You hit the nail on the head. thanks for checking the video out.
Great video. You camera has awesome quality. What do you use? If you don’t mind me asking. The equinox is a super fun machine to run.
WOW! I am glad I ran across you. I really enjoy your videos. Keep running that NOX it is a super machine. I love mine.
Awesome video.
Great vids bud! Subscribed! I would have to echo your thoughts on the Equinox.. I run an 800 and really enjoy it.
Good video.
Thank you. I hope to be back out soon to get another video out. Thanks for tuning in to check the video out.
What brand of finds pouch is that? It’s awesome. Where can it be found at.
Nicely done video, filmed & editing was top notch, loved the Silver ring, definitely let us see it when it's fixed up HH buddy--Brian
That six inch sounds so good. So loud and so clear even under the power line. I hope you find an Indian today.
Great watch! do you have an idea of what you depth loss is when fighting high emi issues.. I am running Ace 400 and alot of times my machine goes absolutely bonkers close to power lines,,have to turn it down so low,,do not think it reaches 3''. seems like the Nox fights it off well.
mark doehrman did u change the frequency Channel?
My ace300i went crazy and could not be fixed with any setting on sensitivity nor frequency :)
Thinking to Exchange my ace300i for a nox or deus , or just buy one extra :)
I love my Equinox 800 so much, I might buy a 2nd one for a spare...I sold my MXT and AT Max...
@@squarenailsquirrel9638 I've gone back over my previous sites too, found more items the MXT and AT Max missed...
You will probably not go back to V3I often. you said it right: you don't miss stuff and you dig more good targets with it. ATB, Sebastian
God helg, minelab 800 er litt spesiell 👍👍👍🇳🇴
Don't feel bad me and my buddy was in a 1930s school digging up modern Lincolns at 8 plus inch i love old dirt
@@squarenailsquirrel9638 Richmond va has soft black soil
I’m not familiar with that machine. Friend of mine has a pulse made by Whites... he has to dig every signal though to find items. From hearing about pulse machines... they really go deep.
@@squarenailsquirrel9638 nokta is solid but it all comes down to getting a detector that u understand the language i study what i got for months before i made my decision that's why alot of detector go up for resell so fast ps don't sell the v3i last year i purchased an etrac it found alot of things but i never could get comfortable with it so i got my v3i out of the coner and learned it more sold the etrac
those were all things you missed with the Whites??
I did miss them hunting this site with the Sport... many factors can be associated as to why I missed them though. Can’t say it’s completely on the machine I was using but there did seem to be a difference in the targets obtained. I hunted it in the 4th of July hunt as well as the corner lot videos.
got me wanting to buy one
Good luck with any hunts you have coming up and thanks for checking out the video.
found coins in hunted out places, best so far a walking liberty at 10 inches, nox 600 rules

Kenny, your music is EPIC! ... when i hear it i expect to see a superhero doing superhuman things
Ha! No superhero here... just a guy with a metal detector. 🙂 I enjoy the music and helps parlay the excitement I feel for a site to a viewer. Might be a little overboard at times, 😂, but I’m cool with that. Thanks for checking the video out.
@@squarenailsquirrel9638 yw I love the music. its inspiring.
I like the quality of your vid's. Do you think you will be using the Nox for awhile?
Thank you very much and glad that your enjoying the videos. From my experience so far of using the equinox I will become dedicated to the use of the machine hereon out. Greatly enjoying my experience with the machine and it’s added a lot of fun to the hunt. Just wish I would have bought an equinox a year ago. 🙂 thanks for checking out my channel and for the kind comment.
lol: I didn't know there was a jewelry store out here
