Flight Information: KLM Royal Dutch Airlines Flight 133
Narrative:
KLM Royal Dutch Airlines Flight 133 was an 11 hour flight from Besiege International Airport to Snowridge International Airport, operated by an Airbus A340-500. The flight had an all-economy configuration to ease the pressure of the Christmas season. The flight took off at 9:57 P.M with 357 passengers and 8 crew members, after being delayed for over 3 hours due to a faulty hydraulics system. The flight was piloted by 58 year-old James Renault, senior captain with 16,000 hours of flight experience. His 36 year-old co-pilot, Oscar McHale, was a first officer with 9,000 hours of flight experience. At the time of the flight, the Snowridge Military had designated a no-fly zone near the airport for a military exercise.
Nearing the end of the flight, at 7:51 A.M, 62 miles away from the airport, KLM 133 was ordered to descend to 15,000 feet by Snowridge Air Traffic Control and rotate 54 degrees to the right. The flight was entering restricted airspace, unknown to Air Traffic Control and the flight. 35 miles away from the airport, KLM 133 was ordered to descend to 6,000 feet by Air Traffic Control. The military detected the flight and sent out a MiG-29 to intercept the flight. The flight's radio at the time went to static due to faulty installation, so the MiG-29 was ordered to shoot down the flight. At 7:55 A.M, KLM Flight 133 was struck by an air-to-air missile and lost both elevators in the process. Seconds later, the transponder went offline. 8 passengers and 2 crew were killed in the initial missile impact.
Captain Renault attempted to retake control of the plane. He tried to pull up with the side stick, but realized that the elevators were no longer functioning. First Officer McHale realized that they could not pull up, and announced to the passengers to buckle their seatbelts and brace for impact. At 7:56 A.M, the plane hit the ground. All remaning passengers aboard the flight were killed in the impact, leaving only the wreckage of Flight 133.
A large part of the wing and cockpit was recovered and brought to the Greenmountains Aircraft Musuem along with KLM Flight 214 as a memorial for the 357 passengers and 8 crew of Flight 133, the rest was sent to the Snowridge National Museum.
The MiG-29 pilot and his operator were charged in 2005, after over a year on trial. They were to be both discharged from the military and sentemced to 7 years in prison without parole for maslaughter of over 350 people. The fighter pilot eventually was released in 2012, but the operator's sentence was extended to 15 years due to unruly behavior and battery of a prison officer. The operator was eventually released in 2020.

Honestly, it is really neat to see what you guys do. So wait, since you mentioned Big Mathis' aim being good, does that mean that most of the videos you two film have at least 2 people playing the game? I don't really know all that much about Besiege but what you guys are doing here with mods just seems incredible, and it's destruction engine looks very good.

This is becoming really interesting!! I was like fuck yeah finally some other vehicles!! :D You know what else could be interesting? some kind of generilized "interface" that let us know what subsistem are damaged, i.e, elevator, landing gear, motors, etc.. whith sounds and visual effects and so. That could add really intereseting context! (I'd like the voice in this video too, the short "pilot voice" at the begginnig, could be material for some kind of ""Mayday" Style series ) I know i know, these are kind of christmas wishes but i'll die happy if some of that happens sometime
