I FINALLY got my first flawless at 2am. Met two very nice gents and we steam rolled 7 games. I've been trying for the past 3 seasons to go flawless (I was too shit before to even try) and it was seriously like 30 minutes and we were flawless.
High resilience makes a difference but as Hunters we just get fucked by Bungie. All 3 top stats are important to our class, meanwhile Warlock and Titans only have to worry about two

at 21:20 instead of picking up the ball, if you have that seasonal artifact that makes your tangles more deadly and larger radius, you can shoot it and kill the 3rd, infact most the tangles you create or even the enemy's tangles can act as explosive barrels and 1 shot kill. Just their tangles will take a couple more shots to blow up

Because team shooting occurs far far more frequently so getting absolutely deleted happens so dang fast but that is how the cookie crumbles.* Is it OP... Nah... Last Word Hand cannon has 21 meters of range with a .53 TTK!!* it has always been way more deadly than most SMG's.
Part of it is also ease of use. TLW also has extremely low aim assist, meaning you have to be far more accurate to hit that TTK. SMGs don't have that drawback, and the one that aggressive have, high recoil, isn't even an issue on MNK.
.15 of a second is really not as big a deal as your making it seem. I'd much rather have wayyy faster cooldowns or recovery than 0.15 seconds extra in a gunfight.

100 resilience isn’t worth it in pvp, 60-70 is the sweet spot for me who doesnt have the best armor and rolls, it allows me to have 100 discipline and 70 recovery
no idea what bungie was thinking with this one, ikelos SMG is oppressive enough then they release this gun lol, nearly half the players of every match are using this SMG with target lock and its grossly strong
I’m more invested into knowing why I’m being matched with flawless pool players when I haven’t gone flawless since before light fall. Trials is going to become redundant at some point if this bs continues.
Got super lucky with my Monday pool/games and went Flawless first time ever in my 2ish years playing this game, solo too. Target Lock, DSR, High Cal and Small Bore with sadly a reload MW but still got more than what I wanted on this gun. They might tone down how quick Target Lock activates in gun fights because going from 21 to 26 in nearly an instance, on a SMG, in CQC, does come off as really busted
All i got was absolute inbreds everytime i hit 3 wins..lmao..on the weekend i did better getting semi consistently to 5 but fk it it's impossible to hard carry in this meta unless you are EXTREMELY better.

I did have to wipe my card twice today and would probably still be playing rn if I wiped my card after losing my Mercy but I honestly just said 🖕🏻 that and got blessed with decent team mates as well as my aim just being on point with Rufus

I will say this for the Grapple plays use a Shotgun! I have an Imperial Decree with Barrel Shroud, Accurized, Surplus, Opening Shot, Handling MW. It's a BEAST! I'm using Sixth Coyote for 2x Shackleslam, you have 2x Grenades & then the Melee that's 5 Abilities up off the rip, the swap speed is so damn fast! Easily as good if not better than Quick Charge etc.
Idk what they would nerf on it because it's the perk combo that makes the weap . They would have to nerf target lock and idk if the perk is that bad where it is . They could knock of 1 point of zoom to even it out because it can roll rangefinder but I get the feeling bungie knew what they where shipping . My honest opinion the gun is fine but me personally I prefer my shayuras.

Maybe it's just me and maybe I just suck. But it seems to me there's a big difference in how this gun performs between m&k and controller. I can't control the recoil of this gun to save my soul. I either horrendously overcorrect or don't correct enough and I'm off target in 5 bullets. I've never been able to get just a perfect laser of a mag off like I've seen in these streamer vids. It's only with this gun though. Idk maybe I just need more time with it
I think it's unfair for the band to do this to want to say things ,You give your blood to get it and the Band wants to take them away by ending the weapon , It doesn't make sense for special weapons exotic weapons to be the same as legendary weapons

Got Fullbore, Ricochet rounds, rangefinder, target lock, range master work, (killing wind second perk) 90 range adept version and it is a monster haha, took me all day to farm and get it to drop but so worth it
It’s not impossible, you just need a lot of luck. No matter how good you are, getting 7 wins in a row is the same as running roulette 7 times (& this is coming from someone who actually went flawless this weekend in solo queue, eventually)
It takes luck and individual skill, the luck part is having teammates that at least can hold their own or try to play around your squad. Individual skill in knowing to try and take a must get opportunity like a person going for a revive in a 1v1 for example if you don't have teammates rez near yourself
.77 KD solo flawless here. Grinded my ass off as well as got lucky as hell. Its easier to go flawless in the US server compared to Asia. In Asia server people are just cracked outta their mind
I have a similar roll but mine has full bore and a handling mw but everything else is the same, down to tap the trigger as the alt to target lock. Can't wait for TL to be nerfed in PvP so I can just click to tap the trigger and still have the god roll
so torn up man, been flawless 1 time a long time ago when the last word was meta (probably more than 5 seasons ago). havent been flawless since, this weekend i got 5 wins and no losses twice in a row then back to back losses. Then I got 6 wins, no losses and lost the next game. Last game instantly 4-0 and then proceeded to lose the next 5 rounds in a row. I'm so tired of this man, giving up seems easier than trying to go flawless for me
Sorry but what you said about resilience is not accurate. At lvl 5 you have 190 hp and at 10 you have 200. This little 10hp is many situation it's the difference between been 2 tap or not. Most players choose resiliance for this in pvp way over the resistance it gives. Otherwise yes recovery is vey good in pvp it may save your ass often but not if you got 2 tapped.
Its been out for a total of 4 days now and its already a problem, its all you see and with them nerfing ikelos and tarrabah next season this weapon will be the only SMG you can use
My guess is they will either slightly nerf rangefinder as a whole (that would affect the Immortal and ikelos). Tarrabah they will probably nerf the ravenous beast perk. I do think that they will nerf target lock as well at some point so kill clip will be the best option again. I love my target lock roll but i can see why having a dmg perk that doesn't require anything to get the best ttk. Make sure to save your kill clip rolls coz I can see them taking over in the not too distant future.

@@yxmi_armin1452 good question. I can't say I'm overly sure but I doubt bungie would let you just get 7 wins on a card (not flawless) and let adepts start dropping. It's happened before but I think it was a bug so I'd bet they have fixed it.
The trials weapons typically shouldn’t have higher base stats than other weapons in the same archetype and frame class because of their access to the Alacrity mod and/or adept mods. The fact that this gun has higher base stats than other 750s, is the only 750 with adept mods, and also has the Field Test intrinsic is just way too much loaded up on the same gun. Having the zoom sit at 14 vs 15 is basically the only drawback to the weapon at all
Trial weapons should be worthy of the name. It’s a PvP mod with PvP weapons. For base stats it should be better. I get why people are mad at target lock, but this gun should generally be better
Literally the opposite of what should happen lol. If you play trials, grind and do well you should absolutely get top loot. Just because some CHOOSE not to play trials and grind for it is on them.
Faced a random guy in Rumble who had it. I'm usually pretty decent PvP player, 2.0kd+ But this guy just farmed the lobby like it was his playground. When I had finally gotten 1 kill, he had 12
Resil doesn't really do anything unless your Titian ummmmmmmmmm bruh whaaaaaaattttt,,,,, that's a bold statement but coming from somebody who play's mainly only PVP I can see why you said that, but your wrong it does make a difference I've won gun fights that I should have lost do to my resil. Your a real good player hence why it doesn't hurt as much. Not all of us are Unicom like you.
I honestly believe that Target lock or rangefinder are going to see a nerf by the end of this season. So keep a couple other rolls stashed away in case. Seems like rangefinder is seeing the popularity that QuickDraw had with shotguns. Plan for the future!
Its almost as if hardlocking guns in certain ranges and making them completely unusable outside of it will make a perk that just flat out adds range the meta. In most games if you using a low range weapon you are a disadvantage sure but you can still aim better than your enemy and drop them if they miss a shot or two..not in d2 everything is hardlocked and flinch still exists.

Either target lock itself is going to get nerfed or the ranged of the smg. Knowing Bungie, it might be both.
I got a very similar roll with Target Lock on the Synchronic Roulette from Neomuna. If you suck at Trials (like myself) it’s a solid alternative
dynamic sway with target lock goes crazy too
At 3 resilience, the immortal with target lock has a .57 ttk, vs .67 at 4-8. Kinda makes a difference in this meta lol

Try it out with field tested instead of Alacrity, it maxes out the range after a kill.
If you have max range already it doesn’t extend it.

Threat detector, target lock running solar with gamblers dodge has been very, very good for me. I’m as happy as I’ve ever been in this game.

Its been out for a total of 4 days now and its already a problem, its all you see and with them nerfing ikelos and tarrabah next season this weapon will be the only SMG you can use
I don’t think the nerf for those 2 will be crazy bad. They might not be able to compete with the immortal after nerf but they’ll still be usable

My guess is they will either slightly nerf rangefinder as a whole (that would affect the Immortal and ikelos). Tarrabah they will probably nerf the ravenous beast perk.
I do think that they will nerf target lock as well at some point so kill clip will be the best option again. I love my target lock roll but i can see why having a dmg perk that doesn't require anything to get the best ttk. Make sure to save your kill clip rolls coz I can see them taking over in the not too distant future.

I remember when star fire wasn’t crazy popular but the moment TH-camrs put it out everyone started using it. Same goes for weapons
@@imstuckstepbro1934 its a factor yes, but there are also others at play that make the over all problem as a whole, the youtubers are 1, the competition is 2, the sandbox is 3, and the ppls reliability of broken weapons to compete is 4, weapons like these will forever be a problem bcuz of these factors unfortunately

No, you can only purchase the adepts the week that it is the weekly reward.

@@yxmi_armin1452 good question. I can't say I'm overly sure but I doubt bungie would let you just get 7 wins on a card (not flawless) and let adepts start dropping. It's happened before but I think it was a bug so I'd bet they have fixed it.

The trials weapons typically shouldn’t have higher base stats than other weapons in the same archetype and frame class because of their access to the Alacrity mod and/or adept mods. The fact that this gun has higher base stats than other 750s, is the only 750 with adept mods, and also has the Field Test intrinsic is just way too much loaded up on the same gun. Having the zoom sit at 14 vs 15 is basically the only drawback to the weapon at all
Trial weapons should be worthy of the name. It’s a PvP mod with PvP weapons. For base stats it should be better. I get why people are mad at target lock, but this gun should generally be better
Literally the opposite of what should happen lol. If you play trials, grind and do well you should absolutely get top loot. Just because some CHOOSE not to play trials and grind for it is on them.

I honestly believe that Target lock or rangefinder are going to see a nerf by the end of this season. So keep a couple other rolls stashed away in case. Seems like rangefinder is seeing the popularity that QuickDraw had with shotguns. Plan for the future!
Its almost as if hardlocking guns in certain ranges and making them completely unusable outside of it will make a perk that just flat out adds range the meta.
In most games if you using a low range weapon you are a disadvantage sure but you can still aim better than your enemy and drop them if they miss a shot or two..not in d2 everything is hardlocked and flinch still exists.
Rangefinder has already been nerf but they might hit target lock. Sucks bc it's a skill based perk. Hit your shots and get bonus dmg!
