The second leg has been Bayern's best performance under Guardiola against a top team, ever. Crazy to see how one individual mistake can turn the table entirely, Atlético had almost no goal-scoring opportunities in this match and Bayern were completely dominating. Heartbreaking match to watch for a Bayern fan (then again, it was Guardiola who chose a horrible line-up for the first leg, so it's also partially his fault)

As much as this hurt I say Atletico deserved to win it all that year. Damn shame UEFAdrid had to screw them over.
There is no way Atletico Madrid could beat Real Madrid in the final because Real Madrid had:
1. Solid defense such as Ramos and Pepe
2. Scoring machine who was Ronaldo
3. Good coach who was Zidane
4. Strong players who were good at counter attacks such as Bale, Benzema and Ronaldo
5. Good midfielders who could pass the ball to the attackers and defend when necessary such as Modric and Kroos.
So think again don't just say things you don't know

Muller, Lewa, Costa, Coman, Gotze, Robben, Ribery, Alonso and Lahm. This Bayern team is a beast and yet Atletico manage to beat and hold them off.
Simeone was really well in europe and spain between 2011 and 2018. Winning uel twice and making ucl final two times is a great achievement for atletico

Atlético is such a underrated team in Europe, it’s almost disrespectful!!!
That is exactly one of the biggest reasons which drew me in to support Atletico Madrid, along with the exceptional manager Diego Simeone - they do not have funds as big as Barça or Real Madrid, nor as big domestic and international support - and yet, they have been consistently competing for first place in La Liga and in the Champions League.
In other words: underrated.
Without a team like Atletico to compete with Barça and Real Madrid, La Liga would be quite boring.
