As a father of a son with RP, your video fills my heart with hope and happiness! I assume this procedure took place in India? If so, what hospital? Did your health insurance cover it? The USA is only in a clinical trial stage now, until the FDA approves it. I just hope they do so while my son has enough sight left. One more question if you don’t mind. My son’s RP is caused by a mutation in his CRB1 gene. Have you identified which gene caused your condition? I ask because gene therapy is another treatment once the FDA approves it.
