Most of the Proteins go through Self Folding , so are the Chaperonin proteins.
Folding is a spontaneous process that is mainly guided by hydrophobic interactions, formation of intramolecular hydrogen bonds, van der Waals forces, and it is opposed by conformational entropy. So it must be noted that Chaperonin are one of he proteins that have property of self folding or self assembly..
