I have the front camera installed, love the look. My only issue is when i turn the car on to view the cam it disconnects because its connecting to carplay.... does yours do this is there a work around? Appreciate the video as well :) Thanks
Same issue🙄 …seems like the only workaround is turning CarPlay off on your phone directly then connecting to the fixcamx-app (live)!! Once you’re done streaming in live view or downloading videos, you can turn CarPlay rt back on and resume to business! Hope that helps & pleasee if anybody have a better solution for the love of 🙏🏽
Wish the rear camera had an oem looking solution. Rough looking areas appear to be the wire sticking out of the front molding, wire sticking out in the rear, and mounting of the camera on the rear glass. Otherwise, the front being standalone looks great! Thank you for the instructional video!
You can tuck the cable inside the molding. I just did it this weekend and no cables are exposed front or back. I think k this video is good but misses the mark in some areas.
5:33 Were you able to hide the wire coming out of the front dash cam? It looks pretty noticeable in the video, I’m wondering if you can completely hide it or it’s going to hang out that way?
The best you can do is secure it as it runs alongside the plastics @ 5:33 where you mentioned. No way to completely hide it better unless you modify the plastic housing for the wire to come out closer to the top and then it would just run right under the headliner.
Great video but please watch out for your airbags - I have an MDX 2020 and the airbags on the A-pillar goes up and folds into the ceiling of the vehicle so good chance the same design is on this one as well. The way you tucked the rear cam wire into the driver-side A-pillar definitely may interfere with the airbag if it were to go off. It's crosses in front of it.
Have you heard of any issues with the camera running real hot? Have had one for a little bit more than a year and it has held up great but I always get worried with how hot the camera gets after a couple minutes of driving.
I have been messaging you on a few vids b/c I can’t figure out how to do it through UT… Your NSX is bad ass and I gotta know where you got your trunk clips?
I checked the trunk and don't see any clips in there. They probably didn't make it back in after the oil change but they are probably in a bag somewhere. I think they are probably the stock clips if I'm not mistaken.
Loaded question. Lol. I still have it but I'm waiting on some bodywork to be done. After I get it back, I will be able to continue where I left off with the last Titan video.
Another solid video, Just straight to the point with everything! We specifically produce LEDs for auto. Can we invite you to do a review for our product? We have emailed for an inquiry.

You're right, the front is solid!

What % is your rear window tint?
Factory which is 20%.

This is not true. You can hide it in the molding

Do you know of a better way to route that wire?

Hey are you still driving the Titan??
Loaded question. Lol. I still have it but I'm waiting on some bodywork to be done. After I get it back, I will be able to continue where I left off with the last Titan video.
This camera does not fit for 2025 Acura MDX. A new camera mold/housing/casing have to be produced to fit the oem mold design for 2025 Acura.
It has a different rear view mirror molding for the 2025 MDX?
I have not seen the inside of the 2025 MDX but I'll take your word for it.
It seems so based on the previous comment. Not sure why it needed to be changed.
They confirmed it doesn't fit 2025 models and I was reimbursed.
