I am a very casual gamer and I've started playing this game since 2009. I've never got to even come close to leveling after 40 but this guide makes me feel like I can finally play this game again and hopefully get one of those ocean fairy pets I saw when I first played the game. I would love to see a guide of what daily quest are worth doing at 160+ 170+ 175+ because i am returning 175 and only have a few hours a week to devote to the game and want to make the best of my limited time.
I remember playing this game in 2007. I have no idea why I liked it or why it stuck with me so much, but every few years I revisit it. The most fun I ever had in it was a year or two ago when I was actually able to solo up to near master class level, but I always still needed help to get to MC. No idea why, it's just so satisfying for some reason. Any tips for soloing the MC trials and getting the TP for MC skills?
Now a days it's not so hard to solo it. The best thing is to get armor and weapons R6 between 15-17+. You can check the hitchhikers guide to Rappelz video. It has the time codes for each part of leveling.

Yes, yes and yes. The higher dungeon requires parties for you to survive (very few players can solo - and I mean VERY few). You also have a daily Death Match for lvl 150+ players with prizes. Guilds can own Dungeons but they have to also defend them from other guilds. There is also the "Siege of the Citadel" that Guilds need to bid to complete and it is only able to be accomplished once a week and for really high level players.
Woww, i played this game abt 10 yrs ago but stopped cuz was frustrated as it was difficult to lvl since i did not cash. Things look so much easier and friendlier for new players now. Free HV pass from the start?? And enchantment doesnt break weapons till beyond +12?? Back then enchanting was a real pain... and lvling -- I still remember grinding and farming turtles at red farm at like level 50+? hahaha. Really great video, i feel so inclined to revisiting this game :)
I would. I've been in since 2006. Things are a lot easier until you reach lvl160-175 but I am putting together other guides to help go over that hump as well. Also a lot of older players are back so there are a lot more people in the servers now.
If i know alot of new players would play and also do the fun dungeon partys in at low lvls lile the good old days then i would return to the game 😂 but not wanna go back to solo a game like i see alot of ppl doing now

So... you don't even get the server options? Maybe if you have a background application running (not like Chrome etc) it may be conflicting with the nProtect (an anti-cheating program). You may also want to check if your anti-virus may be blocking the game or nProtect. Let me know if it fixes your problem.

Please note that in non instance dungeons DE, OL, or MB pk slave/s with ranged pet/s can be used outside of party to activate Legendary weapon bonus/es and boss cards. (Dimensional Barb crit pow bonus only activates when dodging attacks)(LEGENDARY WEAPONS BONUSES ACTIVATE WHEREEVER COMBAT IS ALLOWED) (OL's Combat Support offers a little extra attack speed and MB has a pet resurrection (you can equip a crossbow on pet classes also). MB might be the best choice due to the extra resurrection. Preferably a high attack speed low P.atk build can be used. Rank 1 crossbows with good atk. speed awakenings should work. Don't forget Lv 65 and 155 Legendary weapons! Some self buffs persist through quick change "V" function (anywhere where combat is allowed). (ONCE THE BONUS ACTIVATES AND YOU HAVE BEEN THE SELF BUFF YOU CAN SWITCH BACK TO YOUR NORMAL WEAPON/S USING "V" FUNCTION AND DEAL DAMAGE) the buff should still remain after the "quick change" "V" function. Feral instinct and kiss of goddess persist past recall. You can summon your melee or heal pet cast Feral instinct or kiss of goddess then recall your pet. All classes have at least a brief dual summon. Non pet classes have about an 9 second DS (asura non pet classes have LONGER DS'S roughly 5 mins with a 10 minute cool). Skill cards like zepher strike for zerker or Tempest for VM increase DS duration by a few seconds. You can also quickly summon a heal pet on any class for some extra heals. Or you can use the dual summon to summon a pet to debuff like stone golems weakness analysis or the yeti's 25% P.Def debuff. There is a 1H mace called the silencer, chance to silence, and the Lv 65 Legendary crossbow has chance to snare. I wonder how these weapons would work on classes with aoe's, Temp, Merc, DE, Card, VM, Cor. Yes, that's right a vm or corr with a 1h mace or crossbow, lol. I know that sounds funny but it might work. The damage might be low but silencing / blinding /snaring mobs can really reduce damage on the tank allowing parties more options in the dungeon! So yes, CORR / VM CAN HAVE AN AOE SILENCE AND SNARE!!!!) Also remember that some LEGENDARY staffs 1h and 2h have reduced damage received by wielder, eclipse shield a chance to blind when attacked, and Lv 65 spear grants a dot. Legendary weapons have 3 sets Lv 65, 110, and 155. You might want to check them out. I didn't list all the bonuses and some others might be useful, maybe you can think of some other ideas that might help your A-game. DEBUFFS CAN BE CAST FROM OUTSIDE OF PARTY (DEBUFF SLAVERY!!!) and should not negatively effect exp. drops (maybe just try to get in the first hit before debuffing and use debuffs that debuff only and don't do damage) (some debuffs are aoe's. Corr has a really big one). If you are having trouble rounding up mobs a Templar can be used from outside of party to agro them into a tight bunch allowing damage dealers to do their jobs. If you have some help from a friend with a Temp. / tank class, or have one and can dual box, you can have a very defensive build on the tank without effecting the kill speed of the party since when using this tactic the tank is not in the party. (Example of tanky build - full vit / vit stones with lunacy / draka boss cards with turtle defense pass damage pet summoned + decent armor) (Drill Bots / M.Def / Wis. / M.Res will help with those nasty dot's and fears) Please remember SOME LEGENDARY STAFFS REDUCE DAMAGE RECEIVED BY WIELDER and can be equipped on any class, even a Templar! (higher level tanks work excellently with this tactic when leveling lower level chars.). If no one is willing to help maybe you can hire a decent tank. "WTB High level tanking service" The abomination pet from the master class quest line is timed but it has some really nice buffs. With power levelers on the server you might be able to use it on some high level bosses or to farm drops / level (WORKS WITH AOE'S). It only takes a few hours to remake a character and complete the quest that awards abomination pets (neurology lab). You can create characters as many times as you would like and you can use this technique over and over again as many times as you like. ABOMINATIONS ARE REALLY GREAT BUFF SLAVES!! If you use abomination buff along with corr debuff and legendary bonuses you should be able to kill anything! MM has aoe debuff too snare corrosion that works well too if I remember correctly. Stack em baby!!!!

You can get the buffs at the Hidden Village. PVP is where you can fight other players (there are rules for it). It is where you'll also find most of the game's population
With the pieces etc that the game gives you should have enough. You also may need belt pets on a 4 slot belt (something I'm covering on the next guide). With that and a close to +17 weapon and chest armor it should be enough
dude when i used to play this, I wish i didnt keep remaking new characters and deleting old ones... =/ at least if i made new charactres i probably shouldnt have deleted my old ones....
It all depends on how far you went with them..... since getting to at least 170 takes 1-2 weeks or less now and you can get some freebies when creating new character that last only one month
I can guarantee you they are only putting out a new pet so they can milk the small amount of players still on this game for real money on T-protect transactions from the cash shop. Everything in this game now is designed to milk you for money. This game is dead and there is mo point in playing. Unless people are giving out free gear or pets to TOTALLY NEW players....how the hell can u even level up. NOBODY forms parties anymore. Healer and tank classes are obsolete.
no offense but this guide totally outdated cause rappelz does not really have new players mostly old players or relative to an actual player in game , besides the guide works for epic 7 or so very outdated tbh
Wtf is the point of even investing time in this game anymore. Theres like 20 people playing on each server and everything is about real cash transactions. The game literally is only surviving because of the small cash it brings in from the ingame shop. They need to update the graphics and invent a better monitization system. Otherwise this game is only for people who are scared to quit because theyve spent so much real cash on the game. Cashshop whales are the only people who play.
To be honest I have to disagree.... Lately a lot more people have been back to the game and also the only way those games make money is from cash shop unless you pay a monthly fee. Graphics can not be updated since it was a homegrown engine and therefore it would be easier to make a "Rappelz 2" then to completely revamp the game. Most people don't quit this game because like me we made a lot of friends throughout the years and for that reason we stay.
The game unfortunately looks completely broken on my 4k screen, I loved this game. But they made these overkill items and pets that only money payers can get, and then those money payers no longer need to party with other people... And so partying in this game outside the max level is completely dead...

It took me 1 year to hit 120 lvl
The highest lvls were 150 back then. To hit 150 th it was ultimate grind.

You can get the buffs at the Hidden Village. PVP is where you can fight other players (there are rules for it). It is where you'll also find most of the game's population

With the pieces etc that the game gives you should have enough. You also may need belt pets on a 4 slot belt (something I'm covering on the next guide). With that and a close to +17 weapon and chest armor it should be enough

dude when i used to play this, I wish i didnt keep remaking new characters and deleting old ones... =/ at least if i made new charactres i probably shouldnt have deleted my old ones....
It all depends on how far you went with them..... since getting to at least 170 takes 1-2 weeks or less now and you can get some freebies when creating new character that last only one month

I can guarantee you they are only putting out a new pet so they can milk the small amount of players still on this game for real money on T-protect transactions from the cash shop. Everything in this game now is designed to milk you for money. This game is dead and there is mo point in playing. Unless people are giving out free gear or pets to TOTALLY NEW players....how the hell can u even level up. NOBODY forms parties anymore. Healer and tank classes are obsolete.
no offense but this guide totally outdated cause rappelz does not really have new players mostly old players or relative to an actual player in game , besides the guide works for epic 7 or so very outdated tbh

Wtf is the point of even investing time in this game anymore. Theres like 20 people playing on each server and everything is about real cash transactions. The game literally is only surviving because of the small cash it brings in from the ingame shop. They need to update the graphics and invent a better monitization system. Otherwise this game is only for people who are scared to quit because theyve spent so much real cash on the game. Cashshop whales are the only people who play.
To be honest I have to disagree.... Lately a lot more people have been back to the game and also the only way those games make money is from cash shop unless you pay a monthly fee. Graphics can not be updated since it was a homegrown engine and therefore it would be easier to make a "Rappelz 2" then to completely revamp the game. Most people don't quit this game because like me we made a lot of friends throughout the years and for that reason we stay.

The game unfortunately looks completely broken on my 4k screen, I loved this game. But they made these overkill items and pets that only money payers can get, and then those money payers no longer need to party with other people... And so partying in this game outside the max level is completely dead...
Yeah treu thats why not much ppl play it anymore they totally broke the game with that :/ otherwise i was replaying this game coze i miss this game alot used to be my favo game but now no point in playing unless ur a solo player that rather to play solo then with people

i appreciate the effort buddy but it is energy better spent on something that has a future. people gave up on this game a long time ago and it has more issues then my ex girlfriend.
