These kind of stats and numbers on strikers are a bit silly, they all play in different teams and in different leagues. Can’t really compare players like that.
Finishing stats, positioning, and press stats are the only ones that are critical at this time
Stats = let’s buy another over-priced striker who can’t score goals.
Regardless of which striker we end up with (noting we have zero control over who is signed), we absolutely MUST SOLVE the issue of service & creation...
To me Ineos do not appear to feel this is an area of concern (alarming), it appears they only want a forward option.
Out of all options being linked Zirkzee gives another creative option not necessarily just a striker so he probably would help the service problem....if we fail to sign him...then we end up going for a strikers that rely on service & then we'll have no improvement.
We still have Rashford & Anthony that do not create/cross...Garnacho is still developing & doesn't always make the correct last pass....so service needs to be solved & to be honest that's been an issue that pre-dates ETH!! abit like the CDM issue

I watched Bologna play Napoli when I was on holiday in Naples a few months ago, Zirkzee really stood out with his power and physicality, definitely think he'd be a solid signing
ETH: De Ligt, Zirkzee, Martinez, Antony, Malacia, the new staff and now also keepers trainer Jelle ten Rouwelaar from Holland, it's a bit too much Dutchies and Ajax connections I am afraid. And then maybe former Ajax players Alvarez and Kudus from West Ham?
Exciting player with good potential. 6ft5 is big and he is fast. I cannot see why he will not work. I would be jealous if another prem team got him.

Zirkzee and Toney are both a risk, all players are in general, we are taking a gamble between attitude and potential, either one will turn great or will haunt us, all we can do is wish for the best.

Yea, he really does look like the perfect replacement for martial. Love that he’s bigger though, helpful during set pieces which will hopefully reduce the amount of starts McT gets just because we need height in the team.
Fair play Mark, I'd love to see Zirkzee playing on behind Rasmus, with Bruno playing right midfield and Frimpong overlapping on the outside.

Jonathan David is definitely the best option and the most complete player out of all the above, and he can also fill the same role as Zirkezee. Covers AM, SS and CF positions.
A striker makes no difference without sufficient service!
With a limited budget, everything is a risk. A good club sees the potential and makes young players better.
I like both Zirkzee and David, but David is a similar player style-wise to Rasmus. I'd prefer Zirkzee as I think he could play with Rasmus if necessary.
Zirkzee is good for real, get a lot of love from Gullit & Marco van Basten as well. Marco Who is known to be a big critic of many. Both loves the Italian league and are big watchers. In the Netherlands we have Ziggorondo program where Marco is weekly a guest together with Gullit.
Toney was banned for 6months last season how can you judge his conversion rate 😅

I watch bologna, the problem will be with the fans, he does a Rashford in the games, just walks when he is not in the mode, but will try to get back!
Zirkzee playstyle is very good, but the output is the only problem, United need goals, but i happy with him, because i feel he can do something, but if we want to challenge, we need someone that guaranteed 15-20+ goals, but i know its not our goals yet.

this is very simple, most fans might not want a zirkzee type player ideally, but given how man u actually play, we NEED a player like that since players who stay in the box get zero service, not just rasmus but weghorst, martial, cavani etc it’s been an issue for years. you have to buy who you need not who you want sometimes.

Zirkzee could be like aguero, at atletico he wasn't prolific but at city he was world class, scoring and creating goals.
Ive never seen zirkzee play i wont lie, im not going to go off of youtube clips so i geuss ill find out if we get him. But what i can say is hel take some pressure of rasmus and itl be another option.
On paper the transformation in MNLUFC is not the worst path. Joshua is talented player but seems to have had issues with discipline and accepting his role within a squad. If he has learned that, he is a great addition to most teams otherwise Jaydon II. is a possibility.

Yes, Zirkzee is risky but his styke is more suited for our greddy wingers, unless we get creative players.. our striker Hojlund, will continue to struggle for goals.

Utd need a big shake up in all departments, love to see the unknown talents coming into utd,young blood along with experience players to eg Bruno , what if they are Dutch they are very talented players that can adapt to a couple of positions ETH will get the best out of them
We won’t get a decision not just zerkzie but deligt and ugarte as well when the euros/Copa America competitions is over or there teams gets knocked out that’s when we are likely to get a here we go or finalize the deals

Holdon a minute, Rashford and Garnacho’s first thought when they receive the ball is to find the net, hence the lack of service. with someone like Zirkzee,who’s first thiught is ti create for them, who drops in deep as a false 9 , disrupt man to man presses in the midfield and creates for wingers running in behind, I see the vision !!!

Zirkzee just makes me think he’s a replacement of Tony Martial type player. Maybe I’m wrong but Martial played on the wing and could play in support of a 9. I know we tried fitting him in as a traditional number 9 but he wasn’t prolific. He was more successful from the wing in my opinion.
U should compare him to Tadic when he was playing under ETH at Ajax

ETH used Rasmus as a target man striker which is not his profile I hope he uses him in the right way this season. Our attack needs to work on patterns of play. I just think rasmus, rashford and garnacho doesn't work there's no balance.

I actually have watched him all season. I was ETH in unless we could have gotten Motta from Bologna, people don’t realize Motta managed Spezia and steered them from relegation before going to Bologna. So in paying attention to serie a I’ve seen plenty of Zirkzee.
For me the most exciting player in serie a right now is Kenan Yildiz at juventus but I’m sure U have never heard of him. Better than Garnacho
