hey man, what would be a good Drive Impact Combo? (Not in the corner and with 3 drive guage meter available) and no Super meter available. I just do down 2,2 into flash kick and want a good bread and butter DI combo. If I have Super I usually just do down 2,2 heavy lv1 Super, OD flash kick.
@@sluggy1 its basically the best high damage combo without costi g any meter on your behalf. Some people do F+HP, cr.lp cr.lp HK.FK for a bit of distance traveling also. If they have less than 1 OD bar left you can Do ST.HP into DI again to depleate their meter and put them in burnout. Otherwise DF.HKxxHK.FK is the best on meter.

I needed to hear “don’t be afraid about getting thrown.” I freak out in the corner and especially against throws. I need to center on the traits that attracted me to Guile in the first place: patience, and staying cool under pressure.
This is the first part to actually practice, and the cool part is this skill travels over to all characters no matter which one you are using. So just be cool, Guile have comeback factor in this game, a very high one compared to previous games. keep grinding!

That's one thing I do, I always throw buttons when they wiggle around zone 2 n Dr my recovery and I always try to tech when I shouldn't. So scary tho but guile is the most honest player in the game to me so I like to main him. Thank u for the tips

Great video also don't forget to use medium sonic boom as a poke. It changes the timing for some characters to attack and attempt to jump. Been using it for a week and it's very effective like previous SF games.

Every single frame you holding down-back counts as charge frames, no matter if you jump, throwing, animation from a level 1,2,3, start of the round even before the match. However this combo is super strict with the timing so as soon as you press ST.MP you start holding downback while at the same time you pressed HP. regarding normals I have a couple of them up in my playlist but I will do more of them. thanks for watching and supporting! =)
I am rewatching this video today to freshen up on skme tnings. Great video! If I may, would it be correct to say that if you stay patient and are able to successfully block your opponent's offensive attempts when they sre in Zone 1, that they will eventually be oushed out into Zone 2, and then you will be in business?
If you poke them out and push them away with your best pokes eventually they will hopefully end up back in zone 2, sometimes we need to use the screen too, but we can't give away too much of space on the screen all the time either. So its a balance between fighting on spot and taking new spot.
overall Spinning backfist is hard to use well. after throw and they wake-up on the spot, we can do a meaty spinning backfist that will hit them even if they are holding down-back. the best use for it what I think is to do a DR spinning backfist into a parried (by your opponent) sonic boom, you can only stand block and parry and therefore will you hit your opponent, and while being in DR, this will put you +7 and a very good mixup opportunity that is very hard to deal with for your opponent. Its hard to delay tech a +7 move, its hard to challenge with a CR.LP. So overall, the use for spinning backfist as of now is hard. there are a few punish hit counters possible on whiffed normals, but it you miss it your will be punished for it. if you are more interested in spinning backfist breakdown of the +7 thing I have a analysis/guide here th-cam.com/video/KXfF8BnUnKU/w-d-xo.html

I think this is essential to at least understand this concept of defence. Because this is a huge way of blowing up Guile and do damage on him.
don't be afraid of being thrown is such good advice with Guile. I've had to learn this the hard way.
