I LOVE these videos. Paper and pen in hand. Thank you Kat. I’d love to see lower priced stuff maybe $50 and up if you are up for it. But I’m hoping to find these. Let’s be honest 😂

You can get a really good idea of what a 'best offer' sold price was if you have your 'solds' arranged from high to low prices. Because eBay puts these in order you can look at the highest non offer price just above your 'best offer' one, and the next lower sold price. The 'best offer' price will be somewhere in-between the two.

When Christopher Radko sold his company to Rauch, he later had to go to court to use his own name. I just met him in July. His new company is called HeARTfully Yours, so you might want to look for some of his amazing new stuff. My mom and I collected Hallmark ornaments starting in the 79s. Here is what COLORWAY means: Repaints (also referred to as Colorways) are Hallmark Keepsake ornaments that are painted differently than the same ornament in the Hallmark Keepsake ornament line. These items are specially produced by Hallmark and are often used as incentives or prizes at Hallmark events such as Premiere. Until I looked this up Kat, I thought owners of the ornaments repainted and sold them. Thank you for sharing all your information Kat. I LoVE selling vintage Christmas decor. Need a Hallmark ornament? Lol
Hi Kat. Great video! The 2020 Scarlett Ohara ornament was produced but the Gone with the Wind controversy caused Hallmark to pull them back before the release. They were not supposed to be sold in stores but some slipped through the cracks. That is why that particular ornament sells so high.
I have those Hallmark ornaments with the little Eskimo and Bear! I gave them to my parents every year and now I have them. I bought several of the ice cube ones because my father was in the ice business. I don’t have the boxes though. I wouldn’t sell them but when I die I’m cool with my kids selling them.
We had those Twinkler ornaments on our xmas tree back in the 50's and 60's. What fun!, If I remember correctly they spun when close to the lights. Thank You Kat for your hard work and bringing these educational videos to all resellers. I cant wait to look for these in the wild!!
Hope I'm not annoying people with ornament info. I have collected since the 1970's. The old German ones stopped coming during WWI. And for a little bit before WWII. Their factories had been bombed in both wars. Then our soldiers started bringing them home; because they were cheap. During WWII no ornaments came in so Shiny Brite etc...tried to modernize/Americanize ornaments. It wasn't as good as German product. Getting so bad as making balls of see trough plastic. Machine made. Paint & especially metal wasn't available during WWII. ***But, if you find these see through ornaments without a metal cap (for the hook) but it's made of paper. Paper, which isn't going to wear well, it's a bit more costly. These were only made over a 4 year period! Shiny Brite took their retro/mod designs over to Germany and imported from them. After a bit the old themes snuck back in & got facy & brighter. This took more hand work, the "indents" & hand painted accents. These are called Polish Fantasies." By the 60's the old artists were aging out. By the 70's things were machine made & just themes rehashed. Some of those old German ornaments were excavated out from under bombed out old factory locations. I bought 1 or 2. But,

It has been restored and beautiful and lots of original pieces. Alot of people get married there and special occassions. Thats probably why the ornaments with the dates are worth so much.

I have all the Swarovski Annual Christmas Ornaments (Stars) from 2000 to 2022, they do make a Large version, and a small version of each one, the smaller ones were around half the price of the large (I have a few but don't really collect the small ones). I bought the first Star for my sons first Christmas, and yes he's just turned 22, so I pre-ordered this years and its just been delivered. I just love Swarovski, can't even imagine how many pieces I have, but at least 500 maybe, the important thing is to keep the boxes if you ever want to sell them.
That's awesome, they sell without the boxes close to the same price for me. Most ornaments I find have the boxes but a ton of figurines don't and the few ornaments I've found without sold just below those with boxes. I don't collect them just find them to resell. Sounds like you have a great collection!
@@TheNurseFlipper Too much in my husband's opinion, though you sent me on a little exploring mission to price some of my pieces, I found the Stitch ornament (from Lilo and Stitch film) is worth around $2000, am sure I didn't pay more than $100 for him. Maybe I need to do an inventory.

Thank you for the info! I have 2 of the Swarovski crystal snowflake annual ornaments (including the 1995 one), which I store in their original boxes. I had hoped to add more to my collection, but - at the prices they sell for - I won't be getting more, sadly. I might sell the 2 that I have, instead. It is very tempting! I would love to see a video about lower-priced ornaments too!

Hi Kat, I watch all of your videos and have learned SO much from you. Please understand that I'm not criticizing you at all but there are a few things you say that are not correct, like when an item is marked Shabby Chic it is correct to say chic with the e sound, not chick. It sounds like sheek.
Sad/funny story -I had some relatives who offered to help me move some boxes in my house -and they "moved" some into their truck behind my back. They had a box in their sticky fingers and I said, no, I'm keeping that & took it into another room- it was the Radko topper stands. I got $2700 back from them, but HA! they didn't get that! Imagine, family that steals CHRISTMAS ornaments -that's why they are not family anymore.
What's sad is that i could have bought many of those last Christmas. I was working in the store at the time and put them out on the shelves for about $2,00. They sold incredibly quickly. They were clip on vintage birds and they had many different variations of them and I think they they may have been those ones you mentioned. I didn't know they were worth anything and didn't have much money at the time so I was only buying certain things at the time. I also seen the whole set of the Simpsons one around about a year ago as well I do believe and missed out on them too. it could have been longer though possibly for those ones. I just remember seeing them and trying to set them up.
@@TheNurseFlipper Definitely .... to be honest I seen someone else a while back post about them as well. I can't recall who it was ... maybe the Auction Professor? It was an old post maybe from a past Christmas or 2 and I looked at it said ... DOH!!!

Hi Kat, I watch all of your videos and have learned SO much from you. Please understand that I'm not criticizing you at all but there are a few things you say that are not correct, like when an item is marked Shabby Chic it is correct to say chic with the e sound, not chick. It sounds like sheek.
Another great video, love Christmas ornaments. Video makes me want to go shopping for ornaments.
You should!
Gorgeous ornaments. In Australia we do not see these around very much.. Hot weather Christmas I guess.
LOL hot here in FL too ;-)
Yes, please do the lower priced ornaments!
Will do!
UGH that sucks sorry to hear that
I would LOVE a lower amount and even bread and butter ornament video....I am trying to learn more and more about ornaments
You got it!
Now you know if you see them again!
@@TheNurseFlipper Definitely .... to be honest I seen someone else a while back post about them as well. I can't recall who it was ... maybe the Auction Professor? It was an old post maybe from a past Christmas or 2 and I looked at it said ... DOH!!!
