- this is a song about songs
hi all! this is very ambitious project I tried, and as you can probably tell it is very inspired by the works of tsumiki. i also had the pleasure of having ferry illustrate for this pv! it looks so good and it really added such a nice touch. on another note this pv took 6 HOURS TO RENDER and crashed multiple times so in conclusion i hate adobe anyways there ended up being weird geometric spots in the RGB split so just don't look at it. other than that this is the biggest pv I've done yet and I'm really excited to share it all with you guys :)

Ferry’s art just hits different, especially the shape language… also I really like this song, it’s super energetic and thematically interesting

it sure is interesting to consider 'what if a vocal bank was an actual sentient being? what would it be like to be aware that outside beings control you and tell stories in song by using your voice?' i think song is a really good (and super catchy!) look into that; in a lot of ways, it would be similar to being possessed, having a consciousness beyond your own decide what note you're going to sing next. But unlike most possessions, you're not being controlled to do nefarious or evil deeds - just play act through lives that aren't your own. being aware of such an existence could be painful, could leave you feeling empty inside with only the things you've learned left, but it still isn't necessarily *bad*. Thank you for writing this - it brought up a lot of fun things to think about!

prosody slaps, nice fun bassline, something in the piano chorus line definitely puts in my mind Wowoka's stuff but not in a hamfisted way or anything. This is really nice tart! Keep up the good work.
