my airbot f4 nano has a cam control pad, and i just connect the osd from the camera to the FC cam control pad and it works with caddx turbo micro F2, but why doesn't it work with caddx turtle v2?
Can you wire the caddx up the same way as fpv cam control?? Would be sooo much more better..! But I cant seem to get it workinngg😫

Is this still needed with the caddx ratel 2? Just installed it (came frome a phoenix 2) and the cc doesnt work. It worked on the Phoenix 2. Just run a wire from the osd pin on the camera to the cc pad in my speedybee mini fc.
camera_control_ref_voltage is correct.
Will it work with betaflight modes for camera? record, stop etc.
No, this is for non-split type CADDX only cameras. If you want to use the record, stop functions on the turtle, you don't need this adapter, you can connect to TX/RX directly on the turtle board.
does it know when the quad is armed, so it wont pop up the menu while flying?
It doesn't work when the quad is armed.

Yes I have the same problem with camera control. Down arrow will not work. CLracing f4 mini Caddx mini camera. Only up arrow, right and left work. Reading Betaflight camera control , 4.1 you can set button resistance, Going to wait till a stable release is done before re-flashing. The resistance value of the down arrow is about 1k ohms. For now just living with the minor glitch
That’s weird I just down loaded the caddx app for my new cine 4k Drone then your video popped up on my TH-cam .🤓 they really movin full steam arnt they.
What does the app do?
Panda FPV you can get you the setting inside the camera and format the sd card which you will need to do before you use it, the app is free by the way .

Panda FPV the app is for the caddx tarsier 4k camera, the new one that just come out. I’ve got it now the fpv feed is great 🤩.

My flight controller has a camera control pad will the ratel camera work without this board?
It might or might not. Every FC does it slightly differently. That's why Caddx made this cable to send the correct signal. You should just test your FC and try it out. There's no way for me to tell.
@@AlbertKimTV Yea I connected the camera (osd to cc pad and ground to ground; even ground to cc and osd to ground as apparently the ratel is labeled wrong) and neither worked. Bummer I don't really want to order a board from banggood
Hi, today I installed the controler to the FC and my Caddx Turtle V2.
But I am not able to open the camera menu... But if I connect the external pcb controller with the button it will work. I connect TX to RX2 and RX to TX2 and configured it in Betaflight...
May you can help me with this issue?
Analog camera control doesn't work with every FC. There are a lot it won't work for no matter what you do.
Really nice gadget... Too bad I don't often by a FC with 20 uarts... All of mine are usually taken by the basics... =/
