Great video. Love their watches. I just wish they made them bigger. At 6’3” and 235 pounds with an 8in wrist anything 40mm and under looks too small on me. Here’s to hoping they do something in 42mm+ 🤞🏻
Great dial. Love the crystal distortions, too, especially with the 3D Lumicast markers! I love bracelets, but this looks great with the color matched FKM!
I love my Baltic Aguascaphe bronze brown, it’s definitely in the top three favorites in my collection! Baltic is a fantastic company who cares about their clients. Although for indices made of lume the lume is very short lived from what I’ve seen on other reviews. Thanks for the great review
The Miyota 9039 is arguably even more reliable than a Sellita. With a copy of it regulated so well, what is there left to be desired? Not necessarily a fan of the hidden crown though.
my Orient keeps better time than my ETA Powermatic. Swiss watches and their Chinese made components are so overrated. So no, I wouldn't want a Sellita. Perfectely happy with a Miyota.
I am a big fan of the brand and this is a great slim GADA edition to their line up, I just don't get the recessed crown - it would make sense if it were a screw-down popping up for winding, but having to wind it (yes even occasionally, being an automatic) in its sunk position?! Sounds and looks just as much 'fun' as winding the smooth crown of the Longines Dolce Vita.
Love the watch but the diameter is a bit small for my 7.25 inch wrist. Surprised they didn’t offer the watch in a 39 or 40mm size. Considering the Yema urban field instead.
@EscapementWatch Thank you for the comment and I want it now. Did you order from US? I have no idea why baltic charge 20% more as far as I know under 800 I do not need to pay any VAT
This watch was lent into the channel for video review only. But the VAT should disappear if you put in your address of a non VAT country. Maybe contact support if it is still showing.
I have it since 1 week. Yes the crown is so short and small, you can't self-winding😅😮😊 Butt I spin it a little bit like a Seiko 5 and the movement start to work 😊 Normally I wear watches with price from 5+10k (zenith chronomaster Sport and Glashütte Original). But the feeling is not bad. I would say it is the feeling from a Tudor Ranger or the BB54 (same quality level). King regards😊
I’m very offended by your work! I keep spending money because of your videos!!!! This amazing video is no exception! Keep up the great work. That crystal is a nice design! Might become my first Baltic💯
When I go to Baltic's site (that I bookmarked since I bought the MR01) I do not see that price. It's 665 Euros. I live in Europe so that's with tax included. I guess the 550 Euro price tag is when you order from outside the EU where you pay the tax to customs while it's in transit. Just a thing to keep in mind. Nice watch though, this Hermetique, but, like the MR01, a bit pricey for what you get. I'm not very tempted to get one.
The crown completely kills it for me. It looks good but it ruins the functionality of the watch, and that's just a baffling design decision. I've also always found Baltic cases to be kind of amateur. Like I can see where the cost is being saved there in the very simple shape, and kind of flat lug ends. Definitely nowhere close to something like a Christopher Ward light catcher case, and the C63 is not that much more money, and also has the Swiss movement. As for the LJP, it may be based on the 9015 architecture, but it's sized to be compatible with the 2824, meaning it's much thicker than the 9015 is. They would have to make a thicker case to fit it.
Something about those raised indices is off putting. Perhaps I would feel differently about it in person but they look like they belong on a toy watch.
I tend to agree. Nice but noisy. Probably worse than noisy you feel the rotor spinning around in there pretty wildly. Keeps a nice charge but I don't like the loose feel
@@EscapementWatch Hey thanks for being straight and not getting all upset. Yeah I don't know what other people are hearing but this "presentation" speak is overboard. It's fatiguing. It's disingenuous, and it makes it hard to sit through the entire video. On the lighter side: I'm here because I'm about to buy this watch! Beige. Peace.
They've absolutely nailed this one. Gorgeous watch
Great size, great thin-ness. Great long lugs. Great lume. Great legible design.
Great video.

A transparent caseback would make it a perfect watch.

I would love this for Christmas

I have a 7.5 inch wrist. Looks fine due to the overhanging lugs
these looks nice.. might be my 1st baltic if come across the in store!
Nice looking piece.
How do you compare it against the echo/neutra cortina 1956?
Wrist size?
I heard that winding is so hard. is it true?
It is. But it's miyota which is spin happy. To wind mine, take the strap off and spin the watch on the table like a fidget spinner. tops it up fast.

I cannot unsee the 1 looking larger than the 2 at the 12 hour mark.
ngl thats nice
Looks a little bit like the longines tuxedo, I would stick with the tuxedo.
With your mountain of links - why don't you provide a link to Baltic?

First
Baltic make beautiful timepieces, but watches are more than a beautiful dial. And the noisy Miyota just ruins it for me.
I don't find the 9000 series miyotas noisy
I tend to agree. Nice but noisy. Probably worse than noisy you feel the rotor spinning around in there pretty wildly. Keeps a nice charge but I don't like the loose feel
Just such a small watch.... Can't! Wish it was 38/39 but ugh....
Yes. I’ll be sure to order one for my 16 year old niece. 🤦🏻♂️
@unimpressively_charming 😂😂 supersize my fries please.
@unimpressively_charming nothing competes with his 48mm Invicta
Small penis, big watches..
Seems a touch over priced for what it offers.
As long as they keep using Japanese movements, I'll take a pass. I like the watch otherwise.
Dude you've got to lighten up on your "presentation" voice. It would be good if you'd stop trying too hard.
Its a 50/50 split some like it some don't. Tried to bring it down a notch in the lastest video. But not sure if its the same or not to people.

No problem I love feedback it really helps and I get 10 times worse than your comment daily.
I have to agree
Seriously overpriced for a Chinese-made watch.
