I'm looking at these too. I have them on my Harley Davidson's and it's no comparison to the halogen on those let alone the horrible H5's. It appears that behind this lens is the generic offshore round LED light that's cheap and easy to replace if it ever blows.

I can’t speak to how they compare to the Halogens but I can say they are steps above the H5.
