Jay altough I still follow The Chainsmokers and some of their songs are really enjoyable, it needs to be admitted that they went a bit for the fame too and went in some ways away from the EDM scene for the sake of being on the radio and TV. Seven Lions still is in the EDM and I think that inspires him the most, he loves creating songs like these. He won't be on the radio but you can never get more satisfaction from being popular rather than doing what you love doing the most.

Only reason he isn’t as big is because people just haven’t heard of him. But yea I agree chainsmokers definitely went after the money and unfortunately their music suffered. They had a stretch of music that was some of the best I’ve heard but apparently that wasn’t enough for them.
