I met Steph and Naomi at KnitCity Montreal, 2023 and they are as wonderful in person as in Podcasts. Thank you for a great Podcast, lovely way to spend morning coffee time. ❤
Jennifer, thanks for another wonderful podcast and the interview with Naomi and Steph. Espace Tricot is a wonderful yarn store. I have had a chance to visit them twice. I had the best experience at both times. All the staff out there are extremely knowledgeable and great at making any knitter, novice or experienced feel at home. Their knitted samples are the best and they have an amazing collection of various yarn types and knitting accessories.
I loved most the look on the Espace Tricot sweeties faces when they realized you had knit them mittens. Even when you knit yourself--or especially when you do--it's so delightful to have someone make a gift for you.
Thoroughly enjoyed this knitty chat. Thanks to Jennifer for showing the Sunday Morning Shawl/Wrap on her vlog. I ordered the pattern and yarn from Espace Tricot and I am now working on the final pattern repeat, then off the needles and blocking. It has been a very fun, easy knit. thank you all for your enthusiastic discussions. A great way for me to spend a wet, rainy afternoon.
Lovely chat! I’ts podcasts like yours that gave me the gift of being part of the virtual knitting community. Knitters are very special companions in a world that needs as much warmth and as many hugs as can be shared. ❤
Jennifer … one of the best interviews and podcast offerings I’ve ever had the pleasure of watching. So much food for thought that I’m going to rewatch it right away. I’m also going to knit something from their book to memorialize this episode. Thoroughly delightful. It brought me so much joy! Thank you so much!
Thank you all ,it was so enjoyable listening. Sadly we have no LYS and don’t have any knitting friends either. I’ve been knitting for 50 years and it still brings much pleasure. My husband has definitely picked up on the technical terms 😂 Beautiful book with incredible patterns , you shout be so proud 👏
This was a delightful podcast. I love how Naomi and Stef are planning their knits based on their book. I’m excited to see more knits and the fabric and colors they choose! Sending hugs to you all♥️
Loved the podcast! The knitting community for me is essential, as you spoke to, the unique knitting language we all understand. It appears every group has its own flavour.
loved your presentation. I saw you wonderful young ladies at Vogue New York and was so impressed with your samples.. In fact I mentioned that you were more gorgeous in person. But again glad to have this knitting community to share wonderful ideas of encouragement and grit. Knitting has saved many of us from terrible tv news and hearing about so many tragedies in the World. For brief moments we can lose ourselves in the mystery of creating. Thanks for putting a smile on my face and in my heart. Keep me and my fellow knitters inspired.
This is one of my favourite podcasts as it is the combination of two of my favourites podcasters : espace tricot and pairs with knitting. I just love you three ladies. You make me smile and I can so relate to the talk on technique, running and family time. ❤🎉
Always enjoy anything you do Jennifer. Your positive bend on presentation is so fabulous. You give all the happy! The LYS pattern book looks lovely . Nice interactions today with these 2 Women. I loved all the questions you had for all. Thank you.
I have got to go visit the in-laws in Montreal so I can take a trip to Espace Tricot…..the walls behind you just scream yarn-y paradise ❤🧶 Thank you for making the trip for all of us!! And those sweaters…🥰
I so loved this episode. All the goodness of our knitting community in you 3 girls. I especially liked the LYS sweater in cream that was picked. That was inspired yarn pairing. ❤
What a lovely get together you three treated us to! I was enthralled by the conversations. I love the mitts. I would love to knit a few things from the LYS book.
I would have commented without a giveaway ( but the book would be a great prize, thank you! )This was one of the best interviews I’ve seen on any knitting TH-cam channel. You were prepared with great questions; everyone was so respectful and didn’t interrupt each other. I hope you’ll consider doing other interviews in the future!
Lovely podcast! I was so lucky to visit Espace Tricot last year for my Birthday and Mother’s Day when I visited Montreal for the first time! What an awesome store! ❤❤
Really enjoyed this podcast and seeing Naomi and Stephanie - Steph - interviewed. I loved the shawl that Naomi said was one of her faves from their book! Both colourways were gorgeous. I’ve knit a pattern by Stephanie before so Im pretty confident that this book would be a great edition to anyone’s library.
This was so enjoyable! I smiled when I heard that the woman from the airport was knitting Shawlography. I knit mine from a beautiful kit from Espace Tricot!
What a fantastic episode and gorgeous yarn store. Loved your chat around knitting groups as I started on in 2022 and so many lovely friendships have been made ❤
De-lightful episode! loved the conversations on all the topics … kinda teared up almost a couple of times … I am just now “a knitter” and I’m 73! your episodes are a part of my community … like yr styling videos!
Enjoyed this episode very much, sitting here with a glass of wine and my Sophie Shawl WIP. A perfect end to the week! The skirt and your favourite sweater from the book were absolutely stunning
Always enjoy your podcasts. I don’t have any knitting friends where I’m currently living so it’s always nice to feel like we are all in the same room. I loved how excited they were to get your mittens. How sweet was that!
What a lovely interview! And Naomi and Steph came across as people with their heart in the right place. I would love to visit their store some day if I get a chance to visit Canada❤
Love the episode… love the Espace Tricot , went last year on our trip away for my twin sister and I 50th… loved all the simple, my suitcase was full coming home.
Thank you so much Jennifer for this initiative which I loved so much. I live in the Montreal area and I have not met these two lovely ladies yet, but the boutique is full of great yarns. Their comments on the different issues that you brought up were so interesting and inspiring. Great podcast!
First time watching your podcast. This was very informative and I thought I knew everything about Espace Tricot! I'm a fan of that store and their website. Thank you!
Just discovered your podcasts Jennifer. Really enjoyed your interview style. Good vibes from the 3 of you together. Stephanie's comment about a knitting piece involving designers, yarn, testers, tech editors etc and finally the makers put a whole new perspective for me as I never thought it way. Very thoughtful 😊
Such a great conversation! I guess I was nerding (knitting) out while listening. I'm new to an area and haven't found any knitting friends so I thank you for keeping me company.
Such a wonderful episode, so many touching moments when knitting connects people ❤ love the idea of CatSparation (our pets are the biggest inspiration and emotional support 😍)
Just finished your podcast at Espace tricot. Cannot wait to go and visit the shop. My husband and I will be going to Montreal this summer and my first stop will be your shop. Thanks for a great episode.❤
I just found your channel today and this episode has been so inspirational!! I so enjoyed watching every minute of it. The stories were so engaging and lovely and what a fantastic book Naomi and Steph have put together. Thank you.🧶🧶🧶
Thanks for being my knitting community! None of my friends or relatives are knitters so all the podcasts and yarn stores are where I enjoy spending time💕loved all the talk today of experiences and feelings involved with your knitting
Such a fun visit!! I loved that you talked about community and travel knitting. I’m on a cruise right now and I’m almost done with a Port Sweater that I cast on when we started. It will be a treasured memento of this trip!
First time watching you. Enjoyed it greatly. Interesting to hear either the yarn or the pattern brought back memories as most knitters do, but too shy to admit. Glad to have found your channel.
Delightful episode today. I felt as if I were sitting around the table with you at a knit night. Haven’t been able to do that since my group disbanded last fall.
This was such a relaxed and engaging conversation! I thoroughly enjoyed it. And now I really need to visit Espace Tricot, since I'm not far away in Ottawa, Ontario. 🥰🧶
It gave me such joy when you talked about the knitting community. I am in the process of moving from a less populated area to a city. My LYS closed and the local quilting shop moved in the last few years so I have been watching podcasts to fill the void. Leaving a home of several decades and down size had been hard but my heart is filled with joy knowing there will be knit nights and quilting groups close. There are also better access to shop in person at local shops. The three of you helped me look beyond the funk I was feeling today. Thank you all and I love the joy your podcast brings to my heart ❤
What a great episode! I want to be their knitting friend too. The range of topics discussed was really lovely. Ironically, I was knitting my fourth pair of favorite mitts while watching this. I guess I could consider gifting some of mine…but I too am a stingy knitter. I will keep the book on my radar because I never win anything. We all love knitting…and human connection is so important….what else is there really?
What a lovely and very insightful and informative episode! I loved the conversation on process and product knitting, and just the in-depth look at why we knit. 🧶 ❤
I just returned from visiting Montreal and stopped into Espace Tricot. Steph and Naomi were so inviting and lovely to chat with. I purchased their new book so please exclude me from the giveaway. The book contains some interesting techniques for projects. I am interested in exploring the Broderie skirt and the Aurora cardigan. Great episode!

Espace tricot looks like an amazing shop. I love watching their podcasts as well. Thanks for hosting them. The book looks wonderful.
