They are also one of the poorest royal families and live very simple lifestyles. They are extremely popular and loved by the people of Norway.

The name ‘Alexandra’ isn’t to honor Queen Sonja. It’s from ‘Alexander’ which was king Olav V’s birth name before he became prince Olav of Norway. And I believe her maternal grandmother took more care of the children rather than the king and the queen.
I know in the ancien time a king need to maried a virgin princess or else but virgin but i didn't know that now they can maried to someone already maried it's very interesting the evolution but still i like it and this give much hope and strength

Stiftsgården is not Ingrid Alexandra’s. It belongs to the Norwegian state and has been the royal family’s residence in Trondheim for several decades.
