Well Miss, I just found you because I started making vanilla. I must say, I'm thrilled to find a fellow Canadian. Your personality...you'd be my best friend if we lived close ;) I'm going to try these out...I'm allergic to nuts and so many chocolates in the stores have nut exposure so I make my own. Tee hee, I just got my first shock today...I'll let you guess what age I am. I used my PC opitmum app today and the teller gave me my first ever "senior" discount and she whispered that she hoped she didn't insult me cause I don't look like one yet. LOL, that made my day. That sure was earlier in life than I expected. I'm a longarm quilter and love seeing your weaving, it's beautiful! Hope you have a wonderful holiday season. Hey, did you know you can make your own icing sugar and brown sugar?
Thanks so much for your sweet comment! My 12 year old son has a nut allergy, so you won't see me using them in anything I make! I was offered a seniors discount at a store recently. I gleefully accepted and was happy that she didn't ask for my proof of age as I'm not even 52 until next month. VERY little upsets me these days. Certainly not someone offering me a discount! I made one quilt about a million years ago. I loved it, but I had someone basically hold my hand throughout the entire process and she has since passed. The weaving has been fulfilling that need in recent years, but I LOVE LOVE LOVE looking at quilts others have made. Beautiful things make me cry and quilts have definitely been the catalyst for many tears! Oh and I did know....I even have a video on how to make brown sugar! I have one on making vanilla sugar, which essentially turns the sugar into icing sugar in the process. That reminds me, someone asked me to make a video where the sugar remains chunkier! I hope you have a wonderful season as well! Goodbye for now new friend!
@@Rebecca.Robbins I'm slowly getting through all your videos :) Checking my cc balances to see how many of the current order I can purchase of vanilla beans.
You have to add something called Invertase (not sure on the exact spelling) to get the fondant coating to liquify after about two weeks. They are still good the way you made them, but you should slightly dry the cherries on paper towels before using.
Fab video really enjoyed it🙏
Thank you!
Nice video!
Thanks!

Thanks for the tips! These were SUPER delicious. I think I’m going to make them again soon!
What is icing sugar ?????
It's also known as powdered sugar or confectioners' sugar. Where I am from most people call it icing sugar
