@EscapeElectricBikes - Thanks for a nice Q&A. Do you have any documentation that can be shared and/or video that goes over the custom programming that will be available on the new versions of your bikes? I'm interested in what actual customization will be available and what it looks like on the screen. Thanks!
Hey Mark, You can visit our website, and you will be able to see the display in the pictures when you choose a bike to look at. It will allow you to set the percentage in each pedal assist level. Our dual motors, you will be able to set the percentage to each motor.
You can go under each bike in the pictures to see what the display looks like. The display will allow you to set the percentage of power for each pedal assist level, and for our dual motors, you will be able to set each motor percentage separately.
Still waiting on confirmation for this. Would be nice. Manufacture only recommends this while off-road use such as steep grade climbing only because it will change the in sync tire rotation and not recommended on hard surfaces. We recommend keeping the power set at the same percentage on hard surfaces. Example 20% front-20% rear 100% front- 100% rear. You will still have the toggle switch to choose front wheel drive only, rear wheel drive only, or all wheel drive.
You guys ever consider doing a hard tail with similar motor and battery systems? As I've commented before on a couple of your videos I'm a big guy, so the rear shock is something that makes me pause from buying any of these bikes. It ends up being wasted weight as I usually just lock it out because if I don't it bottoms out if I take big hits. Also with my size the "wobble" gets notably worse (for others reading this please note: this is true of mountain bikes from major bike manufacturers, not just ebikes). I tried full suspension pedal bikes and have ended up riding hard tails simply because all of the full suspension stuff is too flexible because of the rear shock linkage. I'm currently riding an XL sized Juiced Ripcurrent S, but that one has so many proprietary components that I can see the future being tough for updates/upgrades with them out of business. Love that frame i have to say, wish the electrical system was a bit more generic. Have to admit, if i ever see an ebike manufacturer with a 20 or 21 inch hard tail frame with similar motor and battery configuration, I'm going to buy it.
We can do away hard tail if you prefer no rear suspension. Our previous bikes were all hard tails. I can check to see if they can do more than a 19-inch frame, and I will let you know as soon as I get a confirmation. How tall are you, if you don't mind me asking?
@@EscapeElectricBikes I'm 6'7" around 280-285lbs. I'm one of those long leg short torso tall guys, so 36.5" inseam (bike inseam). My "daily driver" bike is a custom built Soma Jawbone in 65cm. It's honestly the first bike that has ever fit me. I don't expect I'd need, or even want, an ebike that big. That being said, I do tend to ride the current ebike in the lowest pedal assist mode a lot. And then I ride it to work and it's going as fast as it can, lol. Overall I'd say my tendency is to ride my ebike like I ride my regular bikes. Torque sensor is a must in other words. Interested to hear what you find out. Thanks!
I don't have a bike to share with gold wheels. We had some viewers asking if we could add this as an option, so we did, and many have purchased pre-orders this way. I will see if our manufacturer could share a photo of the gold wheels, and I will add them to our website. As far as blue wheels, I will check on this as well and update them in the comments if so.
please keep in mind the law on bikes on the roadway max motor size is 750 watts if you get into an accident you will be in trouble if your bike is over the limit also law enforcement is starting to check ebikes on the road if your bike is over 750 watts you will get a ticket and be asked to remove your bike from the road bikes are getting more and more powerful and a motorcycle license is required over the 750 motor size please keep this in mind when buying an ebike check the laws your self ride safe
Absolutely! Our bikes are built with a lot of power and torque capable of tackling all sorts of terrain and recommended for mainly off-road use. Many use our bikes for hunting, camping, as well as trail riding, etc. Our bikes are also capable of towing a larger amount of weight needed due to the extra power provided by our bikes. They can be ridden on the roadway, but I do advise everyone to check with their state law’s first and foremost. All of our bikes come set at 20 mph and if unlocked, those will be held responsible. We also ask for everyone riding any electric bike to where a helmet and ride with respect to others, especially on trails or roadways. Our bikes are capable of keeping up with traffic if state laws were to ever start making people register all electric bikes. Thank you for your comment.😊
who cares nobody except the nerdy law abidders follow laws, speed limit is 55 who drives 55,hardly nobody, theres always a nerd bringing up nobody cares laws
I guess it depends where you live. On the roads that I travel on in my area I have never seen law enforcement at all in the 3 years that I have had my over "1k" watt bikes. I guess be afraid? Anything under 1500 watts is under powered imho for my weight. So a 100lb 1500w bike will put someones panties in a bind? Better things out there to look out for...maybe 400-800HP cars/trucks? The world is scary, I guess?
Just an idea here, if you want to bump up your pre-orders, somehow get a bike to citizen cycle?

All I can say is thank you, you’re awesome and my fingers are crossed 🤞🏻
I knew you would like this Gary. 😊
Programmable front and rear...very nice

Are the turn signals front and rear or only rear?
They are front and rear
Is your bikes on pre-order going to have the ability to have cruise control
There will be cruise control on the pre-ordered bikes
I mentioned you again on my Saturday ride if you didn’t catch it already and will continue to put the word out
I will definitely mention you again. I will do a drone video on the Outlander next time and definitely give you a shout out. Thank you Gary 😊
I think you need to do a performance video of this bike. Show it in action on what it can do
And how it performs.
I'm working on it now. I should have a video out by this weekend. 😊
Hope you all had fun at the parade!
Thank you! We did. Little chilly, but the kids enjoyed it and our daughter got to see and hug the Grinch. 😊
@@EscapeElectricBikes ...that is very cool. Family is more important than work...ebikes.....
When can you share photos of the bikes with the gold rims on them?
Also, is blue rims an option?

We added a photo of the blue wheels to our website. This photo is how the color will look, not our actual bike or style wheel.
I was on your website, I got confused I thought it was $500 off the sale price . I guess I was wishing
We would love to, but we would be in the negative for sure. Lol
It is still a very great deal. 😊
Potted wheels look cool
Your customer service is great... Thanks for the phone call.
You're welcome. Thank you as well. It was great talking to you. 😊
