I love the heck out of Neil Young but nils had the balls to take this song to another level...accordian,sax, violins..man he crushes it
This is pure passion, love, simplicity and some more love. Damn how I wish I can turn time back to be with those bunch of lovely people.
The horns, the fiddle, accordian, just f'n cool, so melodic. Sorry it took me so long to find this.

What an incredibly good bunch of good people! That's what I love the most about this Hurricane rendition. Gray hair, blonde and young hair, skin color differences, unity, one purpose, that's how we achieve the most beautiful things in our world. A perfect example of the beautifulness that diversity can nourish our better world with. I am celebrating this event deeply and with utmost respect in my heart that when we co-exist, we achieve the greatest of things.

Nils' voice is a perfect fit for Neil Young's Like a Hurricane.
only one cover i ever liked more than the original, maybe? neil all the way on this one; no-one could do it better. this is an interesting rendition but you can never replace neil's electric guitar with anything better! (hendrix cover of "all along the watchtower" might be better than the dylan original).

Magnificent version of this song! The accordion adds emotion, the fiddles add charm, the trumpet adds power and the sax gives it a Jazz vibe!

I first saw nils in London in 1973 with Neil Young on the tonight's the night tour I've seen him several times since and have followed his work and music ever since but this performance and many others have got me through many a dark night god bless you nils Brian R Emson
Amazing rendition of my all time favourite song
Saw Nils playing in Neil Young's band on the Trans tour at Wembley Arena in 1982. Still one of the best gigs I've ever been to. And they did a great version of Like A Hurricane that night!

i think this is simply a most beautiful, arrangement. tip top. i saw Nils & grin at a Baltimore county high school in 1972, he was doing the jimi hendrix trickery back then. ps: i thought of him as hyper pop music thru all that potential.

Nils underrated?! That is an interesting and unique opinion. I think that Bruce Springsteen, Neil Young, Ringo Starr, Joe Walsh, Mark Knopfler - just to name a few - won't agree. And so do I! "Underrated" is one of the most overrated words on youtube. Who underrates Nils?

Nils played a show with Journey and Boston in '77 my first concert. I didn't know who he was. Sure wish I had. I'd have appreciated him so much more. He's great been trying to catch up on his library on youtube
