@@potatoboi2194 I was way more optimistic ten years ago! At one point I sold it to a web company to be a series but it fell apart. So it kinda died. If someone out there wants to fund it, I'll make more!
@@covertoperatives HOLY CRAP YOU REPLIED I REMEMBER WATCHING THIS VIDEO YEARS AGO ON REPEAT LOL but yea man nice to see ur still alive haha also rlly sorry hopefully someone will fund it one day anyways u have a good one and thanks for the childhood memories!!😁
@@potatoboi2194 I'm still alive! My 6 year old nephew just discovered it and watches it on repeat too! It must fascinate kids haha Happy to provide childhood memories!
We'll see. Maybe one day. I'd like to. I even wrote a 12 part story. But it's expensive and takes a long time to do. I'm working on another short right now that will be finished sometime in the fall.
I don't have any tutorials but if you have any questions I'd be happy to answer them for you. 24 frames per second is the best but it's very difficult with small action figures. I mostly do 12 or sometimes 9 if I need to.
I laughed my ass off when they just started beating the piss out of each other. I assumed at first it had something to do with the chick they were nailing.
@pickledpigfeet Thanks! I'm glad you liked it. It took about five months to make working about 3 hours a day. I used Marvel Legends figures which I repainted.
I changed the entire beginning after the opening titles and tightened up some of the dialog to make it flow better before the fighting starts. You'll notice the countdown clock and rewind sequence is new. I just made it a little better.
The kitchen cabinets I bought at a dollhouse store. The rest I made out of regular art supplies I found at the craft store. Cardboard, balsa wood. Nothing too crazy.
The longest movie I ever made was 25 minutes long. When I moved to Hollywood, California I had a very hard time getting people to watch it because they said it was way too long. My agent made me edit it down to 14 minutes but I was told to tell people it was only 11 minutes. That movie is Covert Operatives. I have meetings all the time and they want 5 minutes or less these days. Making an hour and a half movie is not a good idea. Very few people will watch it. Just my best advice. Good luck.
All the sound is added after you shoot the pictures. I assemble the frames and do the audio in Adobe premiere but there are many different programs that do the same editing work.
Yes, you take a picture, move the figures slightly, take another picture and so on. That is right. You can experiment and get better the more you practice.
The truth is I haven't worked on making a 2nd one yet. I have been focused on other projects. I'd like to make more Randy movies someday but it probably won't be in the near future unless somebody decides they want to fund the episodes. If money showed up all of a sudden, then I'd be happy to continue the story.
I'm not sure everything that Audacity does. You need a program where you can watch the video and add audio tracks in a timeline. A basic video editing program would work fine. Can Audacity do that?
Hey, just wanted to say I watched this every day when I was 10yrs old, it felt like it was yesterday feeling nostalgic and makes me sad knowing that time goes by easily. So thank u sir for your videos that made my childhood it was really fun
Am I seeing things or is the resolution a bit better on this one too? I've said it once and I'll say it again; I just love this stop mo film. It's well written, original and very inspirational to someone like myself who is just starting out with stop mo. Please make more! Thanks for the art and great film once again, man!
Hey man thnx i really apprectiate it oh god u r so lucky and artistic i really want that figure thnx again and that stop motion is just wow !!!!! I have no idea about stop motion pro. I've only ever used Adobe Premiere pro to edit my movies. Any video editing program can do it.
@Assassin1922
Which song are you curious about? The punk rock stuff I wrote and the driving song is the SWAT tv theme.
Thanks!!

Hopefully one day if a site is willing to pick it up as a web series.
