Reaper This is one gruesome horror dark fantasy anime universe I've ever seen. Still wondering how the hell those weak-ass humans survived that world even before the walls were constructed to have there own sanctuary. I agree with the evolved type humans having Titan powers but not the normal ones.
Attack on Titan may be fantasy, but it is very emotionally realistic. Getting mad and wanting to save the world doesn't equal a Shounen manga power boost. Well except maybe Mikasa but even she has got that ass whooped. You can feel the characters suffering and fear and when they overcome it. It's honestly a very excellent portrayal of human emotion and struggle. I absolutely love when that guy says he'll kill the Titan then see's it. Turning around to grab Eren and Mikasa and running for it. That was just such a gripping and realistic scene of human emotion to me.
makes you wonder if the mangaka had some sort of experience with loss and hatred. you can feel it in the dialogues and story plot. could he somehow be drawing out ideas from real life?

The music of Attack on Titan is so memorable, It's like you can hear the wrath of Eren and the titans through the music and everything has a certain weight behind it wich makes the whole series so believable and exceptional.
I'm coming back here after the finale. This video was one I used to listen to a lot during the earlier seasons. It just saddens me so much to realize that this was an entirely different anime before they left the walls. When it was all about killing a few monsters. When all the songs had a sense of triumph and hope, and I felt invigorated listening to them, and hoping for those wide-eyed dreamer Scouts to finally spread their wings and fly. Attack on Titan evolved into a completely different breed. A completely different feel. I just....there's still some part of me that wishes for 15-year-old Eren's happiness, for he and Armin and Mikasa to explore a brilliant natural world full of nothing but life. But now that we're at the end, I find myself going back to the beginning. If only to see them happy.
Spoiler alert. I have the same feelings. Eren is such a tragic character :( It breaks my heart to think that he was just a kid who wanted a free world, but saw his mother eaten alive. That's why he started to hate the Titans even more, only to learn that it wasn't the Titans' fault. The disappointment with the world outside the walls - I could feel it with him. I wish there was a short alternative story where they actually explore a world not occupied by humans. Even when I think about Erwin, and how he was dedicated to his mission, yet he never knows the reality. Still, this anime will forever and always be 10/10.
Absolutely. Even though I'm German, so the butchered pronounciation kinda bugs me sometimes, the composition and lyrics and vocals are so fucking fantastic that I can still listen to it 20 times in a row and cry into my pillow. It is that good.
I love the dedication and thought put in to both the anime and manga. At first, you wouldn't think the storyline runs as deep as it does. After a few episodes, I realized how deep and depressing the story truly was and seeing it from beginning to end, I am glad I took a leap and watched it. I do not regret crying at this, and it's a masterpiece. I can't wait for season 2

I can't even begin to expresses how much i agree! The very first episode had me in tears...and they never stopped. This anime is soo heartbreaking! And i've never seen any show have the kind of effect AoT had on me, -- AND IN ONLY THE FIRST 5 EPISODES! One rule i live by while watching Attack on Titan is whenever anything good happens or when you're they are feeling even the tiniest bit happy expect HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE, THINGS! Imagine the worst scenario and then double it, because that's what you'll end up with! Don't be fooled, darkness is always on the horizon and when it strikes it strikes fucking hard! It's the saddest most exhilarating show i've seen to date!
ken samaniego The manga is pretty good but it ain't got nothing on the anime. If you want to know what happens next, read it, but otherwise don't bother 'cause it has almost indecipherable art. It's all just lines that blend together particularly in fights, it's hard to tell what is going on
Just started watching this and the series absolutely blew my mind. This is the most unique price in anime I've ever seen. This has reached the 2nd position of my favourite anime list. And to add to that the soundtrack is more than amazing along with the plot. This is what makes this show amazing.

The manga just ended today, and while people have mixed opinions on it, I'll always remember this masterpiece for as long as I live, especially these soundtracks which made the experience 10x better. Thank you Aot and Isayama.

What I love about this show is the fact that each character has their unique personality and appearance. I love how some of them are thiner, others are taller or stronger, others are blond,while others aren't.. Diversity makes it a really special show
People need to have a whole lot more respect for this show and the world of anime. Attack on Titan is the greatest anime and manga of all time. It's very emotional, and you can relate to some of the characters, and your always cheering for humanity, and you feel very sad and emotional when characters die, praise to Attack On Titan, greatest Anime of all time.

Just now I noticed that in 19:49 you can actually hear another song in the background. At first you hear the "Reluctant Hero" theme, but once you listen to it for a longer time, you can hear "Levi's Pain" in the background. Hiroyuki Sawano is really a very good componist. It can actually touch my heart and make me cry. The songs fit to this anime very well. It can strengthen the feelung of sadness or anger. Also, I don't know how Hajime Isayama came up with this idea, but Attack on Titan really is one of the best anime I have ever seen. The story, the characters, everything. I'm grateful to the the ones who made AOT. In addition to that, Levi looks hotter and hotter in every season.

I'm coming back here after the finale. This video was one I used to listen to a lot during the earlier seasons. It just saddens me so much to realize that this was an entirely different anime before they left the walls. When it was all about killing a few monsters. When all the songs had a sense of triumph and hope, and I felt invigorated listening to them, and hoping for those wide-eyed dreamer Scouts to finally spread their wings and fly.
Attack on Titan evolved into a completely different breed. A completely different feel. I just....there's still some part of me that wishes for 15-year-old Eren's happiness, for he and Armin and Mikasa to explore a brilliant natural world full of nothing but life. But now that we're at the end, I find myself going back to the beginning. If only to see them happy.

Spoiler alert. I have the same feelings. Eren is such a tragic character :( It breaks my heart to think that he was just a kid who wanted a free world, but saw his mother eaten alive. That's why he started to hate the Titans even more, only to learn that it wasn't the Titans' fault. The disappointment with the world outside the walls - I could feel it with him. I wish there was a short alternative story where they actually explore a world not occupied by humans. Even when I think about Erwin, and how he was dedicated to his mission, yet he never knows the reality. Still, this anime will forever and always be 10/10.

Absolutely. Even though I'm German, so the butchered pronounciation kinda bugs me sometimes, the composition and lyrics and vocals are so fucking fantastic that I can still listen to it 20 times in a row and cry into my pillow. It is that good.
Especially the part at 8:33, I get a wave of goosebumps every time.

I love the dedication and thought put in to both the anime and manga. At first, you wouldn't think the storyline runs as deep as it does. After a few episodes, I realized how deep and depressing the story truly was and seeing it from beginning to end, I am glad I took a leap and watched it. I do not regret crying at this, and it's a masterpiece. I can't wait for season 2

I can't even begin to expresses how much i agree! The very first episode had me in tears...and they never stopped. This anime is soo heartbreaking! And i've never seen any show have the kind of effect AoT had on me, -- AND IN ONLY THE FIRST 5 EPISODES! One rule i live by while watching Attack on Titan is whenever anything good happens or when you're they are feeling even the tiniest bit happy expect HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE, THINGS! Imagine the worst scenario and then double it, because that's what you'll end up with! Don't be fooled, darkness is always on the horizon and when it strikes it strikes fucking hard! It's the saddest most exhilarating show i've seen to date!

Just started watching this and the series absolutely blew my mind. This is the most unique price in anime I've ever seen. This has reached the 2nd position of my favourite anime list. And to add to that the soundtrack is more than amazing along with the plot. This is what makes this show amazing.
Finished this in 3 days. I loooove this anime so much. From the amazing japanese voice acting, the awesome set-up of the world, the emotions, to the characters. Everything is perfect
The manga just ended today, and while people have mixed opinions on it, I'll always remember this masterpiece for as long as I live, especially these soundtracks which made the experience 10x better. Thank you Aot and Isayama.

What I love about this show is the fact that each character has their unique personality and appearance. I love how some of them are thiner, others are taller or stronger, others are blond,while others aren't.. Diversity makes it a really special show

It's very emotional, and you can relate to some of the characters, and your always cheering for humanity, and you feel very sad and emotional when characters die, praise to Attack On Titan, greatest Anime of all time.

Just now I noticed that in 19:49 you can actually hear another song in the background. At first you hear the "Reluctant Hero" theme, but once you listen to it for a longer time, you can hear "Levi's Pain" in the background.
Hiroyuki Sawano is really a very good componist. It can actually touch my heart and make me cry. The songs fit to this anime very well. It can strengthen the feelung of sadness or anger.
Also, I don't know how Hajime Isayama came up with this idea, but Attack on Titan really is one of the best anime I have ever seen. The story, the characters, everything. I'm grateful to the the ones who made AOT.
In addition to that, Levi looks hotter and hotter in every season.
