Since I saw the hit in person I completely agree that this video makes it look much worse than it was. Doug was quickly catching up on the inside and he was probably going to try to squeeze way down low in the corner but neither of them were willing to give up their position. Watching it in real time definately made it look like more of an accident. It is sad to see any contact in the spectator drags though. Your car is awesome BTW.
This video makes it look a bit worse than it was. From the stands it looked more like he had a run on the back stretch and you shut the door without realizing he was on your rear quarter. He went on the grass to minimize contact and it looked like he went straight because semi slick tires don't turn on grass. Just my 3rd party observation
Lets just hope the officials at the speedway catch this and dont allow him back on the track, Its crystal clear, as i TURN into corner 3/4 he goes STRAIGHT INTO ME, i have no problem with the motto "rubbin is racing" but thats only when its balls to the wall clean racing, blatent hits are what ruins the sport of it. The only thing worse than losing is losing to a dirty race
I didn't mean you specifically, I meant anyone who read my comment in general. But it is hard to tell what actually took place in the video, based on your camera's perspective it does look like he rammed right into you, but you could have turned into his path at the last second. Either way its a shame it couldn't have been a clean race.
You absolutely may be right on this, all i have is my gopro footage to go by, however id find that scenario more plausable if he diddnt make contact in multiple other races that night, 1 can be an accident, 2 your an idiot, but 3 or more hits with different people in one night? just sounds a bit off
I think it may have been your fault because at the start of the turn you began to cut right infront of him without even looking to see if anyone was there at all.. Looks like nothing more then human error to me, the 2G wasn't trying to take you out. But this is just my observation, I could be wrong, dont reply with your hatemail because I won't read it.. ;)
Cars sick by the way. Love the 1g DSMs

Hey... who won the spec drags today? First show I've missed in about 15 years due to a family event.
Not sure if he has more than 1 talon but I just watched him run 9.6 at 150 at new England drag on check it out
The car that runs in the 9's is not the same car. The one that was at Seekonk was a full weight daily driver.

And the summit runs 12.4 those guys are fast, by the way if he was not already under him when they got to the turn it's not his line

I have no "Hate mail" for anyone, but all i saw was my go pro view, which shows him barrel into me

I believe it. Thats why I run an enduro car haha. I don't have the balls to put my street car out there when someone could drill it.
