Littletass the original video had audio issues during the firing test portion. Despite the original video having 50,000 views Drac took it down to repost a version of the video with the audio fixed.
I would prioritise audio quality over views in this situation, the whole point of a modification video is for people to mod the blaster, it definitely would help with people as if they were to get stuck on a certain part in the modification tutorial that would be devastating to the person modding the blaster.
Really dig the new video style. The time lapse looks really good and your voice overs are on point with that new mic. I think you've definitely hit your mark on the quality initiatives you've set for yourself this year. Keep up the good work, Drac.

So sick! Used this video to mod my nemisis! Just finished! But I glued my rev up trigger in, then staged the switches so I can just use the main trigger. At 10% trigger pull the motors rev. Then at 95% the conveyor kicks in. Cut out the baffle and safety in the back of the hopper. And cut out a hole in the top of the battery cover, put a Lipo gauge and alarm all clean with a lens. Took extra time but came out so clean! Now I can get a full 3 finger grip on it running around! Best nerf weapon/mod ever! DRAC RULES!

In the first part of the circuit you connect both the fly wheel and pusher together. Now my question is how did you keep the pusher from not running while the fly wheels are on? (To keep both triggers operaterating their intended motors) Maybe a real basic drawing could save a few headaches in the future. Just did the build, and the speed of the video allows many questions on how some wiring was done. Especially the switches. These are just tips, I'm definitely a fan of your work. Keep up the quality of work!
The female connector is always on the battery. The metal prongs are actually on the blaster side. It took me a super long time to figure that out also.
Do you, by any chance, have a picture of the gear arrangement in the feeder mechanism? My son had a ball jammed and it kind of exploded as I opened it up, with gears and axles falling out...Thanks either way.
Only other mod to do imo would be modifying the container itself. It seems like you could open up the back half and insert a sleeve of plastic in a ramp shape like there was at the front, this will help prevent stranded balls and maybe give a bit more capacity
Hey minę just took a crap the small motor for that conveys the balls to the front doesn’t always work what would be the cause of it ? I want to do this mod but the video is a little too fast for me to start doing a mod like that. So do you have one switch running the flywheel motors and one switch running motor that feeds the ammo? It looks like you're running two switches but I have mine wire to one switch that runs both but I haven't fully tested it yet to know if there's any issues there.
Drac, I followed your Rival Zeus full-auto mod a little while back, and I need some help with it. The gun works, but when I pull the trigger the actual first shot is delayed by a second or two, and the final two or three balls in the mag never seem to feed. Please help. Also, if I use Mega darts it feeds all three properly, so I can still use it to intimidate everyone into never approaching me.
LordDraconical, my son had his safety switch break, it's now just a spring without the toggle function. It's annoying because you have to hold the switch up to use it. I don't hear any plastic rattling around, so i assume I can 'fix' it by re-seating it somehow. Do you have any vids on the trigger/saftey toggle?
I don't think I could personally mod a flywheel blaster because I would confuse which wire would be for what, though I would mod a Longshot since it's simple I need a more powerful spring and follow your guides that don't require me needing to add brass barrels for the shorter darts that look like a real bullet made of foam.
Hey! I love your video's (We've talked before) and I had a request. You make some mods that fire insanely fast! But half the time you're testing them you never do a mag dump. You generally burst fire so we don't get to see the full extent of the blasters power. It'd be nice to see a mag dump included regularly with fire rate mods. Peace!
I'm curious ive never tried to mod a nerf but are there no airsoft motors that would be compatible to the rival motor to add in a high torque motor? Also is it not currently possible to make some hpa type of nerf gun?
Dear Drac, I just made my first mod for a nerf gun. it was a zing X-Shot micro. what I did is I took out the air restrictor and that's all I did because I don't have a more powerful spring for it. would you have any suggestions for a more powerful spring to put in the gun cause i want it to shoot hard
Does anyone know exactly what motors could replace the stock motors? I'm not looking for an upgrade. The stock motors are fine. But in the long term, a 25%(ish) overvolted motor will die quicker. For the money I'm putting into this blaster, I'd like to know I could replace them should they die. Are they just 3S 130s? Like the MTB Rhino?

Hey, I wonder If Nerf will develop a backpack that can carry/ reload these hopazines when they start to be sold separately. Imagine going through one hopazine, putting another into your nemesis, and while you are picking up RIVAL rounds your other hopazine is being reloaded. Just a thought.
you can mod a bigshock by taking a flathead screwdriver and tap the back of then take out the air restrictor and it will shoot rival balls. hot glue or super glue the back on again for best results. You should make a vid on that Drac.
So I'm having to mod two nemesis guns and it seems that you're the only one by far that shows the internal components of the nemesis so thank you. Anyways, I'm having a common issue (this happened on both my nemesis guns) where some of the screws are really tight to get out to the point where the screws would eventually get stripped. I am using a philip 1 x 4" screwdriver which seemed to work with most when taking them out, but we're talking several that I would have to get out the ugly way because they would not cooperate. Did you have this issue when modding your nemesis? I know this sounds like a no-brainer but is there a technique you use to get them out especially in these kind of situations? Screwdriver type? I know you said #0 or #1 but may be more specific.

The polarity of the terminals for the motors and stwitches are called cathodes and anodes not cations and anions. Your thinking of chemistry. Also please try to start using BLDC motors. Their superior in almost every way except cost.

I'm not sure why they wouldn't, but aerodynamics on these squishy foam golf ball type ammo will have you hitting a diminishing returns curve. Probably wouldn't be worth the expense unless you use it a lot and don't want to worry much about maintenance
So I did this mod several months ago, and it worked amazingly well and terrified anyone who saw it/heard it (the ones that got shot at died before impact from fear). Just recently, however, It is always shooting with a significant curve to the right, almost as if the Left flywheel is spinning faster, or the right one slower. But whenever I rev it and watch the flywheels spin, they both stop at the same time, like there is no speed difference. Has anyone else had this problem? If so, what, if any, is the solution? Help would be appreciated, thanks! :) P.S. The only advantage I can see coming from this is the ability to shoot around corners... but even then, only certain corners lol
Frankly, the stock motors can handle 3S no problems with serious improvements on that kind of battery. Since no suitable replacement has presented itself, I just use the stock rival motors and they work great. Its cheap and efficient and fun!
If you wire it as shown in the video, the mod won't work. 2 major electrical problems that this guy needs to address. 1. The motors in the vid are wired backward. Simple fix is to simply swap the polarity at the battery, but if left like the vid shows, the motors will spin the flywheels in the wrong direction causing the balls to fire back into the carrier. 2. All of the motors in the video are shown to be electrically connected together. This means that no matter which trigger you pull, the flywheels and the pusher will engage at the same time. You will instead have to run separate leads from the flywheel motors to the lower switch, and from the pusher motor to the main trigger switch.
Yes, they both come on with one trigger pull. The motors spin up so fast it doesn't matter. I've done about 8 of these and they all shoot awesome. (with the polarity correct of course)

Your amazon link for the 16ga wire is actually pointing to 18ga wire. Also, you said 25A microswitches and you link points to 15A ones.

There is also a lock by the screw for the cover on the battery compartment so that you can't fire unless you have the cover on the battery compartment

how do you clean up the rivals rounds? I'd be too afraid to shoot that outdoors, cause I'd lose over half my ammo in the grass

Victor Banales any Lipo battery. Just change the connectors. Ask an adult to do it.
Since your using a 3s battery have you thought about using FPV motors? Faster spin and they last longer

So if you put a ball in the barrel it shoots it to the hopper? I don't know why but I find that hilarious. Don't know how to fix it though.
Di-Ao your polarity is wrong. Switch the positive and negative leads on which ever motors are running opposite.

Right now there is no motor that fits rival blasters on the market.

You will instead have to run separate leads from the flywheel motors to the lower switch, and from the pusher motor to the main trigger switch.
Yes, they both come on with one trigger pull. The motors spin up so fast it doesn't matter. I've done about 8 of these and they all shoot awesome. (with the polarity correct of course)
