Sometimes, though, I feel like I see too much of my pain in the music instead of seeing the growth. This is my favorite song on the album next to "At Night It Gets Worse." When I listened to it, I was safe in the loss I felt when I listened to the song. However, upon watching this beautiful piece... I actually cried. I could feel something else--rebirth and love. It may seem foolish but, even for a second, it made me feel hopeful. Thank you for sharing this with the world. I hope it brings others what it brought me.

He was around 21 and lived with his then band mates. i remember he was vaping some weed while showing me the first song "Holding Someones Hair Back" and air drumming the song and describing the bass guitar as well. Rest In Peace my brother Abdon Lucero. i know you walk with the Lord and are at peace finally. you'll always be in my heart and mind. your little brother Brendan.

Was looking through my old military photos and saw a pic of us, i could hear "Get Out" playing in the background, jumped on my hard drive and blasted CS all night. Man I've missed these guys! Circa is a success story of a band that escapes their foundational genre and embraces experimentaion in a non-alienating way without dipping on artistic quality

I hadn't been a huge fan of new circa survive since blue sky noise. Some of the newer stuff really depressed me based on what i was going through in life. This is really well put together.
I am at a crossroads with this because half of me loves this song because of the love and the hidden meanings and the flip side is that i feel like I'll never know what any of this feels like. That kind of deep understanding love. CS definitely uncovers things we dont want to face.

It what happened after decensus released too, Anthony rejoined saosin after cove reber was booted from the group, and a month later, we got the saosin album we should've got after translating the name back in 2005, and boy was it worth the wait.
