My God your home is beautiful inside and out. I love the white tile floors, the huge windows and how it captures the Sunlight making your home a glowing beauty. The landscape outside with the exotic plants is gorgeous. Keep enjoying life because that's what we're here to do. Your videos are inspiring to others.
I truly enjoy your posts, Jael. They are peaceful and your home is beautiful. I like when you garden and cook your stews because I see the similarities of me being a part of the African diaspora and Motherland recipes. It is comforting to see them. Please keep it up and don’t listen to people saying your land wasn’t capable of producing. Obviously, that’s not the case. The bounty is quite clear. Good luck with your new plants!
Your hands are blessed dear, and your land is blessed too that's why everything you plant is growing. I pray Lexi is doing well. I love how your home is coming up.
Great job, Jael. Your home will be very beautiful with all the plantations coming up so green and healthy. The soil must be really fertile. Thank you for always inspiring me with your videos. Keep up with the good work, dear. ❤
Jael bonjour. so nice to see the progress in your garden, the plants are growing well. Your tactic is the best, just keep testing to see which plants grow well there and add more of the ones that grow well.
Jael......villlage life looks so good. But my heart jumped when you mentioned the snake in the mulch. That is one thing about village life I do not miss. I really wish we could not have those encounters when enjoying the peaceful life of our natural habitat.
Hi Jael. Hope your daughter is recovering well. How beautiful that your planets are thriving in your land. That supper was yummy. I will try prepping meat like that next time l have a BBQ. How l would adore that with alot susa and cassava ugali. ❤❤.
I just love your home the environment is everything. I feel as though am in my country . I see the hibiscus, bougainvilleas (the national flower of my country). I love everything. Magneficent! Do you cook the taro leaves in your country? It makes the most delicious soup.

I know someone who planted coconut tree seedlings in Nyeri 😅 so keep experimenting! If only I had just an ounce of your energy and talent to make use of the countryside that surrounds me... I don't have green fingers but I admire your work and commitment
You can cover the soil between your plants with cardboard or newspaper or even old carpet to starve out the weeds and grass. In the UK we sometimes use a " no dig" method. You might fi d it interesti g to search it on YT.
One of the solutions for your soils is to make ridges or raised beds like you said. Make water channels as well so that in terms of too much rain, the excess is channeled away.
Always a blessing to see your videos, your work is paying off because of your patience and expectations are in humbleness. You are such an inspiration.

Beautiful home and garden. Heavily mulch with wood chips or a black polyurethane plastic by rolling it on top of the grass & reinforce it so the wind doesn’t blow it off it kills off the weeds naturally
Hi Jael, I pray that God blesses your land to the point that you'll harvest 10 times more than what a non marsh land would produce. So shall it be. Have a blessed day 🙏
