Hey man how do you tune your toms to have almost no reso without moon gels or anything?
+Joshua Swim Hey dude! Try to make the batter heads just tight enough for them to start resonating. Another tip is making the gap between the reso and batter as big as possible. For instant, on a 10" tom tune the reso to G and the batter to C, that'll make it "drop" more. Try different combinations! I usually like for them to sing more than on this recording. Hope it works out for you!

On this video I think I'm using Remo coated emperor as batters (emperor x on snare) and clear ambassador as reso.
