Thanks for the video. I think you mean confident line. Proko and other academic draftmans use it to hit the line in one shot. But there are also draftsmans out there using more skretchy lines and getting very good results. Michael Hampton says in one of hese videos his lines are more messy at least in the gestural phase. Some more contemporary draftsman use messy lines and get beautiful figure drawing. I belive it is more a mindset...
Yes! You are correct. Confident lines. I tend to bounce between loose, scratchy lines and then move to more precise lines. But I can't help but get a little envious of those artist that make those beautiful lines in one quick swoop. One day I will be there.
