Glad you came back. We enjoyed your visit. Next time, I will try not to take so much from you when I rob the Old 97 train again.

I’m so glad you found this video! Thank you so much for not robbing us too badly on the train. 😁 Thank you also for keeping that magic alive at a place that is super special to me and making the experience a really fun one! We had such a great time that day!!!

32 year old from the Bronx. Grew up coming here as a kid. I have so many fond memories. This video was a hit of nostalgia. Unfortunately I do not have any kids. But I hope to have some one day and watch them enjoy themselves as I did when I was younger. It definitely does not look anywhere as busy as when I was younger. This place used to be PACKED. I really hope them all the success and hope they are able to stick around for many years to come. I loved this place. Thank you for the great video and bringing me back so many memories from when I was a kid!

I'm really glad you enjoyed it! It was always a really cool place to visit, it was so cool to see how they hold on to so many of the traditions that were there when I was a kid! You should definitely go and check it out, I think it'll be just as cool as it was when you were a kid!!!

Lots of memories. I wanted to take my wife there in the 90's but was told they were closed. Glad to see it open again.

Always gotta make sure you you’ve got the proper toll! Really liked the blacksmith! Seemed like he really knew his stuff.

I was wondering if you were going to catch the whole toll reference... 😁 But yes, I know everything there is to know about blacksmithing now. It was actually kind of a cool occupation for the time!

I’ve never been to a western town, looks like a lot of fun. The intro was really good and all the buildings. Glad you showed the insides of them. It’s nice to see something that hasn’t changed much and being able to remember it. You should have ridden the ride with the cranks that don’t do anything. Haha.

It was very cool to go back and visit after all these years and see how everything was exactly how I left it. I thought about that ride when I was in the car heading back to my hotel. I should have gone and rode on it. Oh well, gives me a reason to go back I suppose! 😁

That’s a long while to carry that lady! Man! I have not been there, ever, so this is quite a treat! My school went and I was off that day. Go figure! You took a sentimental journey if I ever did see one. 👍🥰 Precious! Glad it’s not the same animals from when you were a kid… that’s be a bit freaky!

I actually put watching your adventures on my “ to do “ list- the respect, personal anecdotes and how LOVE what you’re doing brings me such joy! I LOVE “time capsule “ history preserved sites, so watching your adventures I’m like, “ oh! That is SO COOL!!” Never stop being a kid! PLEASE! And LOVE that your sweetheart goes with you!!! Aww! LOVE THAt!!

It's always fun to revisit places from your childhood. When I was really young, my parents took me and brother to Frontier Town, which was a Western-themed park on the eastern side of the Adirondacks, just off I-87. It's long gone, though DEC has used its name and branding to open a campground and horseback riding center nearby.

I really lucked out that it's still open after all these years. I think the days of amazing places like this are numbered.

@@UnkleHeavy Unfortunately I think you're correct. It's too bad. I'll take an Enchanted Forest in Old Forge, Knoebels in Pennsylvania or Marineland in Ontario over a sterile corporate park filled with over-the-top attractions any day.

Very fun place. Larry Storch’s Silver Dollar Saloon. The actor/comedian from F-Troop. If it is that’s awesome. I remember using those canvas post office bags back in the 80’s,before I worked at the P.O., rare to see them now.

Great catch on the saloon. They actually named it after him and had the actor come and visit for its naming. All of the storefronts that you visit there are basically considered little mini museums that have lots of cool artifacts on display, like those mail bags. I just couldn't cover everything. It's just an all-around very cool place!!
