  • A wood of biblical proportions, Cedar of Lebanon was used to build the pillars in King Solomon's temple! The Phoenicians used it to build their ships, and the Egyptians used it in making paper. This historically significant wood is still used today. Watch as we break down logs into lumber & turning blanks that are perfect for woodworking projects. Then, head over to cookwoods.com where you can purchase it.

    its one of my favourite woods, the smell is amazing, its natural oil is an insect repellent and is used to line the inside of some expensive furniture

    The video was awesome as usual. Loved the extras about the blade problems and fixing the blades. This is a Dream job for me. I would love to do something like this after I retire.

    I'm curious what the story is behind that gash in the left blade guard on Slabzilla. Did a blade break & jump off the track?

    • @CookWoods
      @CookWoods  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      There was a knot sticking out 8" from the log and the metal went into the knot! It pushed the guard back into the blade. This was before we installed our cameras on it. Thankfully, we've never had a blade break on Slabzilla!
