Not enough thank yous in the world, even if I NEVER nail this in my life.

2 questions ...my strat has 22 frets yours has 21...is that because yours is older? I bought my Mexican made Strat in around 2015...the headstock doesn't seem to be the larger 70's style but like mine the slighly more compact size.what' s the deal with these diiferences ?

Mine is a ‘57 reissue. That’s the way they made ‘em back then...this is from ‘86.
The deal is you can bend up to E a whole lot easier! I love em both ways.
Big headstock? That’s just late 60’s up until they reissued the AVRI.

@@tjzen1180 Yes the GG should give you more frets and improved upper fret access, but it’s a more modern sound. It’s a trade off between tone and ergonomics.
      Hope you’re well!

Dude! Genesis and Grateful Dead? My man!!!!!!! How about Ripples or Entangled or Steve Hackett stuff? Do you ever listen to their older stuff?

Generally speaking I’m unfamiliar with older Genesis. I like a little of that stuff, but I’m still very much in the dark.
Glad you like it...I always like learning other instruments solos on guitar for fresh ideas.
      Cheers!
