Linus "LLinusLLove" Loeliger and Jonas "OtB_RedBaron" Mols are/were online poker's absolute endbosses.
People often wonder if GTO poker or exploitative poker is "better". Why not both?
In this HU match on Pokerstars' $50/100 tables, OtB_RedBaron presents a GTO concept that might serve even better as an exploit - if applied purposefully.
The solver software PioSolver helps us understand the background of the plays.

Seems like you have a lot of experience on pokerstars, tell me what you think of this. I live in Las Vegas. Online poker is legal here but it monopolized by WSOP. I can’t play on Pokerstars because of my IP address in Nevada. If I got a VPN do you think I can get away with playing in pokerstars and is it worth it?

@@2CardConfidence Thanks a lot mate. I mostly started this channel out of curiosity, meaning I post hands and I ask a question in the title and through the comments I get ideas for my studying. Kind of a hand analysis forum but in youtube. Also, I remember seeing the 2+2 thread when you started the channel and I thought to myself "there is no way this channel won't blow up" and I subscribed from my personal channel(will subscribe from this one too). Anyways, your videos offer immense help to me and make me think about the game more deeply(I play 5nl, hope to move up.). The poker community needs more content creators like you. Cheers!

I disagree with one thing said here though, that theory will always balance its range with nutted, marginal and weak hands. this isn't necessarily what balance means in theory, theory is playing against a perfect opponent, that will always find bluffs in every spot, therefore theory doesn't really care about having nutted hands in every spot, because when its range is capped and it faces huge aggression like overbets, theory will still just call with a proper range of hands based on the odds its getting no matter how condensed the range it has is. This concept took me a while to understand from GTO, that its okay to have a capped range, but against an opponent that is capable of properly attacking this, you have to call the correct percentage of hands from that capped range

Jh6d isn't a good overbet bluff candidate there, because he doesn't block linus' top calling range on the river that much, also the flop call is too ambitious. Linus would most likely cbet J high fd's and most 56 cut shots on the turn. A hand like 54o, especially with 5h or 7x5h, 7x6h or even 8x5h would be better than Jh6d imo. (They block low flushes, straight and two pairs)
