You're not loosing it. The scrap mods do improve frame rate & performance, because you are reducing the amount of textures & models that have to be loaded. Like scraping all those piles of debris that were not normally scrapable... Evern if you cover them up with foundations, their models & textures are still loaded tieing up your RAM. But scraping them, makes for less models & textures, which equals better frame rate, load time, & performance. 😃
To anyone who wants to use the scrapping mod: sometimes game developers use trash to cover up stuff that doesnt look good, like glitches, cracks in the floor, things that are scientifically impossible, etc. What im tryingbto say is; pay attention to what youre scrapping and have fun!
This is a great mod because if you think about it, all those buildings that have people living in it, they would be able to sweep the leaves and such. An example would be Sunshine Tidings. All those houses have leaves in them. And really? 200 years and you can't clean up some leaves? Get with it Bethesda.
I like conquest because if you go really far out like you did with sanctuary, you can still fast travel to it. I made the atom cats garage a settlement, pretty fun to do.
Yes, scrapping foliage and other objects increases performance, sometimes dramatically. The settlements are terribly designed as far as performance goes. It's almost like they didn't care...and still don't.
I don't know if my Fallout 4 was glitching out, but i could go back into Workshop mode outside the settlement border. i just walk back to the extended vincinity..this might have been added in a update to Settlement Borders Extended.
i have a problem with the border extender mod whenever i go outside the border it says auto-cancelling workshop in 5 seconds and then after 5 seconds it exits it help!
Could you try and make a settlement similar to that of Megaton? It would be pretty awesome to see how you'd do that. Maybe you could use DFEP rocks to make a giant crater/mountain that it would be inside.
Idk why I couldn’t stop laughing as soon as he said “get rid of all this shit right here” lol 😂 Love these mods ❤️❤️ They helped made my settlements look better
I had scrap fallout and it messed up my snappy housekit mod does anyone else have that problem like it turns the walls yellow so they can't be moved after placed
I think you might want to rethink your load order, maybe move the mods around each other, I had to play around with mods that scrap and add the same stuff.
What about the major bug reported on 'Settlement Borders Extended' bethesda page that states it makes Starlight Drive-In and Jamaica Plain almost useless as it keeps kicking you out of build mode.
Argh I so want to be able to scrap structures ,specifically the broken bits ,so that I can glitch in a new wall or roof piece ,so that it looks like its been actually repaired as opposed to just melted in
You arent crazy, the mod makes it so that Fallout isnt constantly checking what size your base is, reducing lag.

probably been asked before, I did not see it but I was wondering if it was possible to get a good load order example for xb1 for this kind of setup (with workshop rearranged and the other building mods you used. your video has inspired me to want to build up really nice settlements around the commonwealth but its confusing with the load order, considering i use some things like Armor-smith extended and a couple stand alone weapons mods. if anyone knows of a good clear load order explanation I would love to see it! either way great work and info for the community thanks so much!
you kinda lied on this one of settlement borders extended i looked up on bethesda.net on mods of fallout 4 there is a ps4 version look it up its called: all settlements extended
Alessandro Bonati A Yter called Oxhorn places stacked scaffolding with platforms and missle/laser turrets placed, should that be right next to the spawn point it should be able to kill effectively
I've been camping on the Settlement Borders Extended for awhile. I'm not much of a builder for one. So the increased size is overwhelming. But anyway, I'm just wondering for anyone who's used the mod. Can settlers interact with whatever you build outside the original boundaries. Example: you have a guard post, store, crops, can you assign them? Another thing I noticed, I used a build anywhere mod in Concord. And it seemed to disable the raiders and BoS from respawning. Does SBE do the same? I play on PS4 btw, which the mod isn't available on PS4 according to the time this video was posted. BUT, it is now. bethesda.net/en/mods/fallout4/mod-detail/4026210
not sure if you will respond. but on the expanded settlement, if you start in sanctuary..and you build far out. can you assign settlers to places outside the stock build area? can you use sim settlements mod and have them auto populate?
Yeah you can assign settlers to place outside of the main build area. Same thing if you use the mod Conquest. And I'm not sure about sim settlements, I haven't used it yet.
Also for unlimited borders ps4 has a mod called Commonwealth settlement. It does the same thing but from sanctuary, I use it and workshop anywhere to build outposts for my survival games. I live in an old farmers market near chestnut hillock and actually enjoy living in chestnut's little sunken house too despite being unable to scrap it.
Will Settlers actually go to the things you build new outside of the Settlement with the Settlement Borders Extended Mod. Because when not its pretty useless!
Are there any mods to increase the max number of settlers in your settlement? I know that the unmodded max is 10 + your charisma level. I think it would be fun to have like 100 settlers wandering in Sanctuary. :)
Hey Cordless got a question for you. Or anyone willing to respond. I've got a fair amount of settlement mods installed. Mostly all my mods are settlement related. Whenever I open up the settlement building menu it lags up for about a good 10 seconds or so. Is this maybe because I have too many? Or because I've got over 60k of each material?
Could be a bit of both, actually. I've got a good number of settlement mods, myself, it my game does the same thing. If memory serves, it happens because of how much information the game has to process when opening the workshop; it also happens the more settlements you have linked together, because the game has to compile _all_ the resources from all those settlements, so I imagine having 60k+ of each material might do the same thing.
Mine is the exact same way. I notice it way more when I have a bunch of workshop mods loaded, not so much with the materials. I think materials do lag it, but not nearly as much as the workshop mods
Place anywhere is also good. my top favorite

congrats on 10000 subs you deserve a whole lot more.
Thanks dude! I definitely appreciate it
I LOVE the music you added to your video LOL ROFL funny stuff brother
Didn't know about the larger settlement building area mod, thanks!

DUDE DJDE DUDE, USE THE CONQUEST MOD TO MAKE A SETTLEMENT IN THE GLOWING SEA, SO THEN YOU CAN MAKE USE OF STUFF LIKE THE RAD CLEANSER.
I like conquest because if you go really far out like you did with sanctuary, you can still fast travel to it.
I made the atom cats garage a settlement, pretty fun to do.
Yes!!! I just beaten the main quest line for fallout 4

d81 Mods They spammed too much trash.
Hurricane Haze my uncle used to work for Bethesda a long time ago. I wish I could see him cuz it was cool but my aunt broke up with him 😞
@@sub2zocrixpls328 She wasn't a fan of 76 huh?
scrap fallout and unlimited building MOD are awesome, actually all mods mentions are awesome lol.
Get better soon Cord! Stay Awesome!
I don't know if my Fallout 4 was glitching out, but i could go back into Workshop mode outside the settlement border. i just walk back to the extended vincinity..this might have been added in a update to Settlement Borders Extended.
Dude, you know you have to make like a Cabin around the lake or in a bush somewhere now. That would be so cool.
Yeah man! I'm totally going to
i have a problem with the border extender mod whenever i go outside the border it says auto-cancelling workshop in 5 seconds and then after 5 seconds it exits it help!
Could you try and make a settlement similar to that of Megaton? It would be pretty awesome to see how you'd do that. Maybe you could use DFEP rocks to make a giant crater/mountain that it would be inside.
Notorious Incognito you know there already is one
Will yo ever do a build in the glowing sea
I'm definitely not against it. Seems like a really cool idea
itd be cool but you'd need a lot of anti rad stuff there. Might go and build an outpost out there for the questline now lol.
i downloaded conquest, but nothing appears on my pip boy, where i need to put it in the load order ?
"my cold medicine and I" haha, cheers mate. Gotta leave a like for that little joke
I know this is late but you could connect sanctuary and red rocket
Idk why I couldn’t stop laughing as soon as he said “get rid of all this shit right here” lol 😂 Love these mods ❤️❤️ They helped made my settlements look better
For Scrap mods if your gonna scrap something big always save
the buildings I scraped with scrap fallout came back...
I had scrap fallout and it messed up my snappy housekit mod does anyone else have that problem like it turns the walls yellow so they can't be moved after placed
I think you might want to rethink your load order, maybe move the mods around each other, I had to play around with mods that scrap and add the same stuff.
Unlimited building mod isn't working for me😕
I hope u get better and keep up the amazing work
Reminds me of the music from " The Great Outdoors " movie
The scrap fallout mod is not on the mod list when searched on xb1, some help please....
With Scrap That Settlement nod, you can Scrap way more things.
Hey, build a bridge across the pond. It will make it easier for raiders and mutants to get across lol.
What about the major bug reported on 'Settlement Borders Extended' bethesda page that states it makes Starlight Drive-In and Jamaica Plain almost useless as it keeps kicking you out of build mode.
I only had an issue with Starlight Drive-In. It kind of sucks, but there are ways around it
Ways around it. Please elaborate how?
Argh I so want to be able to scrap structures ,specifically the broken bits ,so that I can glitch in a new wall or roof piece ,so that it looks like its been actually repaired as opposed to just melted in
When I use scrap fallout, all the scrapped items return when I boot up the game again? Anyone else have this issue or know how to fix it?
I don't have that problem but where is it in your load order?
It sounds like it might be your load order. I have mine at the bottom of the load order and don't seem to have an issue
You arent crazy, the mod makes it so that Fallout isnt constantly checking what size your base is, reducing lag.

Or maybe that mod wasn’t available when I posted this video years ago? Just a thought.
ok that mod extend The settlement borders... But what about the enemies spawn points?
That's something you have to look out for, or build turrets where they spawn
Alessandro Bonati A Yter called Oxhorn places stacked scaffolding with platforms and missle/laser turrets placed, should that be right next to the spawn point it should be able to kill effectively
Settlement Borders Extended and scrap fallout are for xbox one, for pc what you suggest.
I don work with nexus , i preferred the betheseda net
Try scrap that settlement u can srcap so much
Viper Gamez yeah but I got it and I lost my structures tab 😪
Ray Chauvette Do you have Snap N Build?
there's a holotape and misc workshop items that let you "re install" the structure tab.
Keksis yes thanks I figured that out and use it.
Its not called that anymore
I've been camping on the Settlement Borders Extended for awhile. I'm not much of a builder for one. So the increased size is overwhelming.

could you post the nexus mods on a website for free downloads.?
1:59.... Yakety Sax... I love you
What are the best building mod combos on ps4?
"All that shit lying around"
Me: looks at dog
I can’t find scrap fallout
Actually PS4 has everyone of those mods for about 3 weeks now.
not sure if you will respond. but on the expanded settlement, if you start in sanctuary..and you build far out. can you assign settlers to places outside the stock build area? can you use sim settlements mod and have them auto populate?
Yeah you can assign settlers to place outside of the main build area. Same thing if you use the mod Conquest. And I'm not sure about sim settlements, I haven't used it yet.
scrap fallout isn't available on ps4 but has a damn near close equivalent by andrewcx "Scrap That Settlement"
Also for unlimited borders ps4 has a mod called Commonwealth settlement. It does the same thing but from sanctuary, I use it and workshop anywhere to build outposts for my survival games. I live in an old farmers market near chestnut hillock and actually enjoy living in chestnut's little sunken house too despite being unable to scrap it.
scratch that, I found a mod that lets you combine the two which I definitely plan on doing now. XD (Edit: I meant chestnut and scrapping)
Kris Parker Wrong mod author
All the best TH-camrs use the Benny Hill music for sped up scenes!
Can mods download at the same time or does settlement borders extended need other mods to work
Settlement borders extended doesn't need any other mods, should be good :)
Will Settlers actually go to the things you build new outside of the Settlement with the Settlement Borders Extended Mod. Because when not its pretty useless!
They will if you assign them to something
there is a mod that increases build space on ps4
Yeah, this video was before that mod was released
k
If you install Scrap Fallout mod don't use de "Scrapall" console command or...
Amazing
scarp everything
You sound like Leonardo from the ninja turtles cartoon :D
Are there any mods to increase the max number of settlers in your settlement? I know that the unmodded max is 10 + your charisma level. I think it would be fun to have like 100 settlers wandering in Sanctuary. :)
I personally prefer scrap everything
It's the same asshole just a different name

It depends on the amount of menus you have, for example if I have OCD decorator that adds 30+ menus and Vault-Tec workshop adds 40+
Oh cool thanks for the reply guys! I'll try downsizing some of the resources and see if that helps. But I definitely have a shitload of menus
Poo poori hahaha did anyone else see that add
are you on xbox im guessing you are and i'm too
Yeah I am!
