Want you to know that you are one of the best reviewers on youtube. You convinced me to get clash of cultures. Also you remind me of Adam Savage which is a bonus hehe

Had the first , sold it. Got Argentina a few years later. Kept it.

I enjoy the Rails to the North expansion. It does latch on some new mechanics, but it freshens up the game to me. I really want to try the two new games.

I agree completely on the tier ranking of the 4 games. For me new zealand just has too much money with the sheering, and having a dozen different sheep types makes having breeding power trivial.

I am eyeing this one, ostly for solo. Been watching a few playthroughs of all 3 and somehow I am leaning towards New Zealand as my first GWT. Not sure why, but Argentina didn;t really do it (yeah, I know, just by watching someone else play... 🫣). I guess that's mostly because of the shipping off and the 3 port cities abroad that I didn't like. Might have to try them all first somehow.
With New Zealand I like the sheep and the shearing, but I'm not sure about the boat stuff there either. Maybe I should just get the original 2nd edition then. haha. We'll see. Still some other games to play in my back catalog, so no rush.
Also a good point is that NZ is way more expensive at the moment than both others where I live.
Thanks for the review as always!

One person dont need to own all versions. In a game group can own one version each. New Zealand gives more freedom and deckbuilding opportunites and less randomness than the original.

These look great, thank you! Which version do you think would be best for 2 player?

I don't think player count matters too much in this game. So, Argentina is my top regardless of player count. I enjoy the game at all counts, except solo is..... "ok". It's actually pretty good for a Euro style game, but I prefer it with people :)

I have the first one and love it. Thing is do I really need all the others?

Interesting. I really did not like Argentina and I loved the original. I don't feel like any of the added stuff in Argentina was an improvement. I've heard this one is better though.

See i didn't care for Argentina at all. It just didnt gel with me. I like new zealand and basic GWT.
