It keeps the niche brands in the edge and really incentivizes them to experiment and creste unique creations

Favorite... I just got in Kismet Angel and it was instantly my favorite scent. However, CDIM has gotten me a LOT of compliments, more than anything else.
it’s crazy how many compliments CDIM gets. on my skin it’s meh but in the air it’s amazing.

been on a binge. Recently acquired some fragrances for winter - ferragamo uomo signature and calvin klein shock, but the clone in my purchase is alhambra's amber and leather. Interested to see how it works out. Haven't smelled ombre leather yet but your channel has been super informative when it comes to clone frags which is super helpful for someone like me who is trying to show restraint and pacing in their purchases!
Amber & Leather is closer in smell to Ombré Leather than Afnan Rare Carbon. It's significantly lower in quality than the real deal though. For the price you can't go wrong with it. Rare Carbon is more ozonic and light and fruity, but I think it's better blended and has higher quality ingredients than Amber & Leather. Also keep in mind that you can buy a little 10ml Ombré Leather for not too much. I have one that I bring on trips. The real deal is so much smoother and more well rounded. It just smells right.
I gave my uomo signature away and kept my uomo. I really wanted to like signature but I just couldnt. Shock is great!

@@jorgedm15 I’m not huge on super sweet fragrances so shock is a bit much for me and uomo sig is perfect. Interestingly shock mixed with amber and leather has been working pretty well
Love the selection, but would personally add Bade'e Al Oud - Oud for Glory. Great presentation, lovely scent, just brilliant.

My favorite clone is Khamrah with Charuto Tobacco Vanille in a close second. But, Cocktail Intense, Star Men Nebula, & Voux Elegante are being delivered in a couple of days. So, things could change. 🤔

@GentsScents You should try Ambre Chic by Saint Hilaire for your love of Dior Homme Intense and other Iris's. The Iris is much like DHI with a little orange to freshen things up. I also like their Private Black, Prada Amber Intense.

I own Al Haramain ruby edition and Ana Abiyed Rouge but i would go with Baroque Rouge 540 by Maison Alhambra.Its the best choice -clone of Baccarat Rouge 540 if you think that costs around 25-30 euro and the quality is very close to Al Haramain one.Ana Abiyed rouge is only a 60ml bottle ,we don't have to forget that
Just today got two Lattafas in the mail. Oud for glory, and Qaa'ed.
First being a clone of Oud for greatness and the second one a clone for Nuit D'issey - polaris.
Both are awesome.

Hey Ash, late to the show I know but with several of these scents you talked about how many clones there were from which you had to choose. I'd be interested in a list (10? 15?) of the most cloned scents. For instance, Aventus and how many clones, Angel's Share and how many clones, Tobacco Vanilla and how many clones etc.
I'd also love to see a list comparing original tobacco scents and maybe their closest clone. Tobacco Vanilla, Tobacolor, Naxos, Herod etc.
I would also add Lataffa oud for glory...such a lovely fragrance got me a lot of compliments and a beast mode performer

Hey Ashton...whats your thought on CDNI Pure Parfum Perfume ?? I have both Limited Edition and PPP and I feel the PPP is the better buy since their basically the same juice but you get more in the PPP bottle.

@GentsScents Hey Ashton, you ever come across L'Air du Desert Marocain clone? I fell in love with it years ago, but even at the decent price point it is a bit much for me.
My favorite clone of all-time is tied Ash. Al Haramain's Amber Oud Tobacco Edition (TF Tobacco Vanille) and Afnan's Supremacy Incense (Amouage Interlude Man) are my two favorite clones. They are extremely high performance with magnificent mids and dry downs. I also really, really like Kismet and Kismet Angel

There's quite a few local retailers here in Aus that have plenty of stock of Jean Lowe for pretty cheap (relatively)
Favourite clone fragrance is easily Armaf's Très Nuit. Love that Green Irish Tweed aroma.
That being said, Maison Alhambra's Lovely Chérie is a fantastic cherry fragrance and I'm sad they flew too close to the sun ripping off that Tom Ford Private Blend bottle design

Everyone always hyped this one up, and By The Fireplace is one of my favorites, but I HATED this clone. I've let it macerate for 6 months and it's still just awful and I plan on selling it. It smells similar to BTF but only like 70% it smells very sour and has a very weird smell I can't quite put my finger on. I wanted to like it so bad but I just can't. Wordt blind buy so far for me.

Let me talk about Latafa Asad real quick, I really like Dior Elixer but I love this inspiration of it. Where Elixers liquorish note shines, replace that with cinnamon and bring the vanilla out more, some how there’s a tangy pineapple woven through the top and middle notes that doesn’t scream but sits just bright enough that you can wear this in warm weather. It is MUCH easier to wear than elixer, and I like asad better tbh.
Side note: Wear it on your clothes and the notes keep a better balance. It’s great stuff!

CDNIM edp started my clone collection. Totes agree on khamrah, asad and have added ofg and suqraat from lattafa. Detour Noir is tops, so versatile. Newest clone is FW l'homme supreme which smells great.

I’m not gonna lie, I blind bought Ana abyaed rouge, I thort it was weak, didn’t realize I went nose blind to it. till my Daughter started started rocking it to school, She leaves for school at about 6:45 Am and get back home at 16:30 give or take, and wow was I impressed she walk in the front door and it would hit me like in my face, it’s now her signature, safe to say I just ordered bottle no3 now, because a 3rd person in the house start rocking it too, the wife, daddy buys they rock it the life of a father
Whatever your thoughts on clones, they're here to stay and I will be prioritising a quality clone, over an overly expensive niche.

One of my favorite fragrances that I used in my hair was the original formulation of, Aveda's Love Oil. The new Aveda Love Oil doesn't hold a candle to the original. Do you know of a clone or of an alternative to the original Love Oil. Unfortunately, on eBay, the original Love Oil bottles sale for $350 !!! Yikes. I'm looking for an alternative. Thank you.
