For anyone wondering how to get rid of the scanlines in this and Tekken 5 you need to set a custom resolution in the GDSX settings as too high a resolution causes this problem I think, apparently setting it as 'native' also fixes this problem.

@moviegamers I use the internal recording feature and yeah I get crap FPS while recording as well, especially at high resolutions. To get some kind of better speeds, i recommend using the x264vfw codec (google it) and set it to the ultra fast preset, fast decode on, zero latency on and rate control: single pass (lossless). This way you will get good speeds (relatively) and a lossless video, ready for re-encoding.

Yeah that processor is more than enough for all games. The missing shadows are due to emulation bugs, they should display properly in software mode only for the time being.
any budget video cards that I can buy that will give me good performance in pc gaming, and in running pcsx2 games like this one? I'm currently using a i5 3330 with 8 gigs of ram, but my crappy nvidia geforce 520 is holding me back I believe ( i was duped into buying it because of the dedicated 2 gigs of ram they plastered over the retail box) I get roughly 60 fps in everything I play on this emu but it's not consistent, and kinda annoying. maybe a dumb question but what do you use to recor your videos with becuase i'm trying to make a walkthrough of kingdom hearts . i've tried the internal recording from pcsx2 itself but that drops my FPS to 24-32 and that's unplayable. now if you were to use fraps how does it wrk that good for you on that clock speed because i have the sam cpu on 4,5 ghz and i got FPS drop when i try Fraps.
@moviegamers Well at 1920x1080 FPS were always crap, depending on game (like max 30). At 1280x720 I could get close to ~45 FPS but again depending on the game.

My problem with this game is some stages load incorrectly. The problem is solved by setting the EE clamping mode and VU clamping mode as recommended.

Defaults unless stated otherwise. That could be caused by overuse of speed hacks, especially the vu cycle stealing one

Eh probably not, especially with games that use lots of buttons. I'd suggest getting a gamepad or using a wired xbox360 controller if you own one
