    Didn't know the non FX4 Rangers had skid plates as well. Good to know. Good video.

      Thanks, they don't offer much protection so highly recommend upgrading!

    Thanks for the video. Could you do a video on all your truck modes, tires, wheels, lift and flares? I think it would be great and informative.

      I can definitely do that and break down what the truck has on it. Definitely has a few more stuff on it since this video.

    So how do you change your oil filter, empty the oil pan???

    • @outlandishoverland
      @outlandishoverland  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Oil filter is accessed through the driver side wheel well. For the oil pan you simple take off the 2nd piece from the front of the skid plate. Not to bad, it does add sometime to the oil change but worth it for the protection it has already provided me.

    Hey, do you by any chance still have the oem skid plates? I'd like to buy them.

      Sorry I keep all my OEM parts.

      @@dylanlam6430 For whenever I go to sell or trade in my truck in the future I put all the OEM parts back on the truck to have a higher resell value as well as being able to sell all my used aftermarket parts to make some money back there.

    Do they need to be torqued to a particular spec with the stock bolts or just hand tight?

    • @outlandishoverland
      @outlandishoverland  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Not sure what the torque specs are, I would recommend verifying with the install manual which I do not have as this was installed almost 2 years ago.

    Great video, I just wanted to see how they held up so far? I'm debating on a set for my Runner but just hesitant that they are a little thinner then other companies at only 3mm. Have you got to test them yet?

    • @outlandishoverland
      @outlandishoverland  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Have definitely put them through the paces and nothing but great things. They have held the abuse, got some scratches on them, but they have not dented in at all, still going strong, highly recommend them.

    Seems like they don't have an oil plug hole. Do you need to remove the front section to do an oil change?

    • @outlandishoverland
      @outlandishoverland  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      No unfortunately not, you have to take of the middle plate of to do oil changes

  • @brotherheed00
    @brotherheed00 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Oil change access?

    • @outlandishoverland
      @outlandishoverland  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      You only have to take of the second plate to change the oil, or what some people do is get one of those pumps that pumps the oil out from the dipstick tube.
