Yeah, it's me, and fun was had for sure :) Not all strange noises are from carbs, there was also a loose joint between exhaust primaries and the 4->1 piece, I fixed it now. I don't know about the gearbox, I was never able to shift quickly and smoothly with it. Maybe I should think about different oil... And it was also impossible to give throttle on downshifts due to position of pedals (I improved the position now).
I'm the one driving. I agree, the Astra was an embarrassing attempt :P In my defence, there was a person higher up the road telling me if the road ahead is clear over the radio. So, while my driving is not very smooth, the overtakes were not actually as reckless as it may appear on the video.

Caterham and BMW, my absolute favorites :) Very nice location and driving, but the gearbox sounds horrible o.O
