The Golden Hawaiian Swordsman Dragon HIGHLY AGREES!!!!! Plus, when The Golden Hawaiian Swordsman Dragon finally gets his own motorcycle, he's gonna ride by himself and NOT be a part of any bike group.
I played this a lot growing up at Dave and Busters and numerous arcades all over. It's one of my all time favorite arcade games. Sadly I've rarely come across this game nowadays. Last time I played this was at a pizza parlor near the base I was stationed at a couple years ago.
There was two different software releases of this game (not only by cabinet). He played the Rev B version here. One of the largest differences being the title screen was changed with a 1998 copyright date. Addtionally, the flames on the little ramp were removed (shown to your right at 8:52) as well as the checkpoint spot that was in front of that ramp in the Hollywood area of the game. As a longtime player, this made getting the 100,000 point Harley crest much harder on some machines. The attract mode sequences were also changed for the Dyna Wide Glide and FXRP intros. Otherwise they are the same game, but I prefer Rev A.
Those sweet, sweet hair and clothes physics... Also I find it funny that it urges you to follow the arrows while driving, when ignoring them and taking the shortest routes is practically required to beat the game.
I can't give you any download links, but you should be able to find it if you google something like harley.zip MAME. You would need the emulator Supermodel to play it.
In most Model 3 games, you need to change the region game in the service menu. By default, you should be able to press the 8 key to get into the service menu, and 7 to navigate through it. This is supposed to how to change the region in this game. HARLEY DAVIDSON LA RIDERS (Model 3 Step 2) Go into the test mode, select game assignments up, up, down, down, view, music, view, music. If I'm not mistaken, up and down is referring to shift up and down. You could go into the input test if you want to double check which buttons are used for music select and view change.
@@marcusice5400 I would suggest checking the file Supermodel.ini in the config folder. For me, it says Y for up and H for down, but I'm not sure that those were the default keys.
@@marcusice5400 You might find it easier changing things using something like the Sega Model 3 UI. www.sendspace.com/file/xif9cf I haven't used it myself, but from the picture, it looks like there should be an area to easily adjust the controls. i.imgur.com/8RJBjGx.png

A few Sonic cameos exist. He's featured on some stoneblocks in Beverly Hills near the mansion area. One of the planes in LAX is labeled "Sonic Air". Note also some strange buildings in Downtown named "Sonic & Baby's". He's also featured in graffiti in another hidden portion of Downtown where a bunch of bonus items are located, if memory serves me right.
Always saddened this was never released on the Dreamcast. :(
And it was a far better fare than the PC game we got around the same time.
Back in day, this game got more than it's fair share of quarters from me. My favorite arcade motorcycle game of all time.

I own a Fat Boy; amazing how accurately the handling is represented ;-)
Used to play this at a bowling alley
The music and the handling feels and sounds like Ryo traveling at night to the harbor.

At the time of its release its a much better game than its sequel King of the Road. At least there was a challenge.

They used to have this arcade at cici's pizza.
Cutting edge back in the day with a wind machine on the arcade version.

GTA 3 came out in 2001. So technically GTA was still ahead of its time!

4 million score. Shall we ?
Watching this makes me dream of one day owning my own motorcycle. When that happens, I'm gonna ride by myself and NOT be a part of any group.

This was a fun and fair game
Not fair at all. You couldn't beat it
this game was again in the ass to play in the arcade cause of the huge ass bike you had to tilt side to side
Live to ride, ride to live!
Was it possible to beat this game?
To "beat the game", you just need to arrive at all of the destinations before time runs out. I did that with all of the characters in this video.

Need this in mobiles!! The real hidden gem¡😎❤❤❤
If you ask me, there should be a remake on previous and next gen consoles!
As well as on the PC!
It's a licensed motorcycle game. I don't think it would be that easy.
@@aaron_aj_knight_95 Still, it would be cool

Apparantly the game was made as a prototype/test for what would become Crazy Taxi.

That makes sense cause I thought it looked similar to Crazy Taxi.
